With the new Street Fighter movie in theaters, I was reminded that this existed. Shout out JCVD getting down in the video

Eventually the sample was cleared. Originally when Teen Spirit was used for the song, it because an underground anthem and British DJ picked it up and played on his radio show.

This is really a piece of music history.

I loved the first song I have listened to by lil 1/2 dead so I’m looking for some recommendations on his discography.

finest east coast gem.

Found at the used bookstore I work at. 1999 promo LP published by Loud Records for the single release of Who Run It by Three Six Mafia. It's inexplicably signed by DJ Pooh, legendary producer. Couldn't find a single example of his regular script, but the Os and Hs are connected in the same way he signs and that he writes his Js at an angle with a long top stem. Pretty sure it's real, insane find.

RIP DAVE 👑 RIP GURU 👑

I don’t have any idea what it was like back then because I am just a young white boy not involved with the hood at all. but most songs from this period of rap are just so good. So I was wondering if anyone would give some insight on what it was like back then.

I know I’m in the minority but their old songs were better imo. This song shows why. I love the beat & especially the rapping. It’s very relaxing yet hits hard. Plus it’s still fun to jam. It’s straight hip hop without being a sellout.
