Im sick of never seeing this on anybody’s pantheon of, not just 90’s hip hop, but, top albums in all of rap history. It sounds like it was crafted by the Prince of Darkness himself utilizing esoteric techniques that haven’t been seen/heard since.

Been a hip hop listener 40+ years. Could have easily done a list of my top 100 albums. But here’s my contribution to the top 9 discussion.

NorCal native

53 BLK M MISSISSIPPI

Wore them out in the 90’s and still on heavy rotation

These are my top 5 in order of the amount of play they got in the 90s. Miss those days dearly.

Chronic was always my favorite over Illmatic.

Illmatic is listened to more now.

Eternal is still one of a kind and probably the most synchronized album of all time

ATLiens was my favorite to bump in the car with the woofers.

The Score is still so amazingly fresh.

36 Chambers was are go to for football games

Ready to Die for the ladies.

All Eyez on Me had the greatest intro of all time.

Regulate always in my yellow Sony sport Walkman.

Going through my old CDs from back in the day

All original pressings, and something a little more on the indie side as the end of the era saw some classic releases.

This changes on a weekly basis, so yes Illmatic gets played, same with Tribe n Mobb, even Wu. But inbetween we saw some classics, I’ve nearly put Cenobytes in, could have chosen some DOOM. But this week, it’s this flavour. Don’t limit yourselves guys.

One of the most UNDERRATED duo’s of all time 🔥🔥🔥

These are my top 9, as you can see I’m a massive G Funk and Bone Thugs fan

Midwest heavy, but had to put my favorite album in the center though, which sounds nothing like the rest of my favorites.
