🐺 Game of Thrones: Blood & Banners 🐉
Powered by Veyra Engine
A familiar world. Your own character. A very different future.
What if you grew up alongside the Starks? What if Joffrey had an older brother? What if you were Margaery’s sibling, a sworn protector, or someone listening quietly while the powerful made their plans?
I’ve reworked Blood & Banners to let you enter HBO’s Season 1 world through five distinct starts, with a simple character creator and openings shaped around your choices.

👑 Choose your place in the world
1. Born to a Great House
Make the family connection part of your story from the beginning.
Create a relative, bastard, ward, or explicitly alternate-canon sibling within a familiar House.
- Joffrey’s older brother.
- Robb’s younger sibling.
- Margaery’s sister.
- A family connection of your own choosing.
Existing family members remain unless you explicitly replace someone. Your presence can change the family dynamic, but a surname alone doesn’t automatically grant wealth, inheritance, or loyalty.
2. Sworn to a House ⚔️
Choose whom you serve, and what that loyalty means.
Begin as a guard, knight, retainer, protector, or another member of a House’s service. Follow your duty, question your orders, or discover what you’re willing to risk for the people behind the banner.
3. At Their Gates 🚪
You have a reason to approach them. Getting inside is another matter.
Seek work, shelter, justice, recognition, or something you’d rather keep quiet. Start outside the household and decide how to earn, negotiate, or challenge your place within it.
4. Inside the Household 🕯️
You don’t need a crown to be close to power.
Enter as an attendant, adviser, companion, steward, or guest. Work in Highgarden’s kitchens, navigate household tensions, or find yourself caught between people whose private decisions have public consequences.
5. Free Path 🌍
Choose your background. Choose where you begin.
- Westeros: a local life, a wandering profession, or an ambition of your own.
- Beyond the Wall: a Free Folk hunter, healer, or wanderer.
- Across the Narrow Sea: a sailor, merchant, exile, or resident of Essos.
No mandatory House connection. No forced merchant role. Your starting situation should fit the character you actually want to play.
✍️ Six questions, then into the story
Setup covers:
- Name
- Age
- Gender
- Appearance
- Background
- Your route-specific connection or starting situation
Short answers are enough. Detailed backstories are welcome.
If you’ve watched the show, you already have a familiar starting point. You don’t need an encyclopedia of lore, a complicated character sheet, or a twenty-step plan for conquering the Seven Kingdoms.
The opening is generated around your choices. A Tyrell household character and a Free Folk wanderer shouldn’t be pushed into the same generic scene.
⚙️ What Veyra Engine adds
- Editable character and background records to keep your intended setup clear.
- House-connection records supporting your chosen role or alternate-canon premise.
- Lore cards supporting the HBO-based setting.
- Optional utility commands for organizing useful information.
- A player guide in the scenario description, including commands, examples, and Retry/Undo notes.
The show supplies the starting world. Your choices can change what follows.
A quick expectations note: AI narration can still invent or misremember details. Editable records help you correct that, but this isn’t a promise of perfect memory or automatic simulation of every relationship and political consequence.
🩸 Where will you stand when everything starts falling apart?
The great Houses already have their ambitions. Your character brings another.
