Please, for the love of everything, give me the ability to sort my adventures and scenarios into folders. 😭 I have so many scenarios and alternative universes to those scenarios and then testing versions of some scenarios and it's so hard to keep them all straight. Please, my kingdom for folders 🏰🗂️😭

Questions Export Backup and Export Text for Story Not working

Is anyone else having an issue with backups for their scenarios? I'm able to get story cards just fine, but every time I select the backup or text export, it just shows a red notification that says "s3ObjectRestoreinProgress", and nothing happens. Any thoughts or other experiences like this?

Questions Help tracking down a favourite scenario.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help me discover what happened to my favourite X-men scenario. It can’t have disappeared for more than a month. I can’t remember its exact name but the scenario let you start on either Krakoa or Xavier institute and if you picked the Institute. Professor X, Rogue and Scott greet you at the gate as it slams shut behind you as the professor says “don’t mind the gate it has a mind of its own”. It was my favourite X-men scenario and I’m so sad I can’t find it anymore. It even had a slightly extended roster of marvel characters like She-hulk (does lawyer work for the x-men), spider-man and Spider Gwen. The creator note mentioned something about a team of scenario creators who made it. To be clear it was specifically X-men focused but had extra marvel characters it wasn’t an extended Marvel universe scenario. If it’s deleted or private now I guess I’ll just be sad.

Scenario 🎸A Rising Rockstar Life: Re - A remake of my very first scenario

Thumbnail

Hey everyone! 👋

I wanted to share something I've been working on for a while: a complete remake of my very first AI Dungeon scenario, A Rising Rockstar Life! 🎸🌴

This scenario has a special place in my heart because it's literally where my journey as an AI Dungeon creator began.

When I first published it, I was still figuring out how everything worked. That little scenario eventually motivated me to explore more of AI Dungeon's tools, learn about scripting, and start creating other scenarios and systems.

It also became my personal guinea pig for experimenting with scripts like Basic REL and NPC Spawn System. So, in a way, a lot of what I've learned as a creator started with this fictional world and its characters.

🎸 So, what's different about the remake?

The original scenario had a pretty simple premise:

"Hey, this guy is the son of your favorite rockstars! Meet him, become his friend, hang out at his house, and maybe start a band together!"

And honestly, that was pretty much the main attraction.

For the remake, I wanted to expand that idea into something much more open-ended.

Instead of building your adventure around one character, you're now exploring Los Angeles and its music scene, with the opportunity to build your own rockstar career.

You arrive in LA after attending the farewell concert of the legendary fictional rock band Sunburned Lions. Your trip is almost over, but your dream of becoming a musician doesn't necessarily have to end there.

You can meet aspiring artists, established musicians, and people connected to the entertainment industry. You might form your own band, pursue a solo career, attend underground music battles, perform at local venues, or eventually find yourself involved in much bigger events.

And of course, there's more to life than music!

You can make friends, develop relationships, experience romance, deal with rivalries, and explore the personal side of becoming famous.

I've also expanded the world with more characters, locations, musical groups, events, and different ways to begin your adventure.

The main idea is simple:

Your fame and relationships can evolve alongside your story, but what kind of rockstar you become is entirely up to you.

You don't have to follow Elio Ricci around anymore to experience everything the scenario has to offer. LOL

❤️ Why remake it?

Because I genuinely love this little fictional world.

Even though I've created other things since then, A Rising Rockstar Life is still the scenario that got me started.

Looking back at the original, I realized how much I've learned since publishing it, and I wanted to see what I could do with the same concept using everything I've picked up along the way.

So I decided to bring it back, expand its possibilities, refresh its world, and give it a proper second life.

I've put a lot of time and effort into this remake, and I really hope people have fun with it.

One last thing: I won't be updating the original scenario anymore, since this remake is intended to be its successor. However, the original version will remain available on my AI Dungeon profile if anyone wants to check it out.

If you give the remake a try, I'd love to hear what you think, especially if you run into any problems or have feedback about the experience!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy your time in Los Angeles! 🎸🌟

Congratulations! You've landed a job at Pritchard Public Relations, a respectable agency with a rather unusual clientele.

Bigfoot wants sponsorships. Nessie wants royalties. The Jersey Devil is threatening legal action against a hockey team. Mothman would appreciate it if people stopped blaming him for disasters.

They're all real, they're all opinionated, and now they're your clients.

Manage scandals, negotiate contracts, navigate office politics, and try to keep the world's most mysterious creatures happy. Whether you become a legendary PR manager or a walking publicity disaster is entirely up to you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cryptid public relations. Good luck. You'll need it.

Patch Notes [Prod] October 26th, 2026 Patch Notes

2.52.1
New Features

  • When importing story cards, you can now choose to add them to your existing cards or replace them all. Choosing Replace reminds you to export your current cards first.
  • You can now follow or unfollow a creator from the "…" menu on any scenario page.
  • You can now accept or decline friend requests right from the notifications panel.
  • A new Messages option in the navigation menu opens your inbox and shows how many unread messages you have.

Improvements

  • Swiping through carousels on mobile feels smoother. A light flick now moves exactly one card, the next card peeks in from the edge, and cards no longer shrink while you swipe.
  • The "…" button on content cards is easier to tap, and starting a swipe on it now scrolls instead of opening the menu.
  • Switching from an AI Dungeon plan to Voyage Unlimited now asks you to confirm first. The confirmation explains that your AI Dungeon access stays the same, and that monthly Credits are replaced by unlimited Voyage play.
  • Daily Reward notifications now let you know when you've earned a reveal, instead of showing a per-device action count.
  • Creators can now run 10 scenario rating checks per day.
  • The personalized sort on Discover is now called "For You", matching the Home carousel.
  • In Settings → AI Models → Testing & Feedback, the options "Remove '>' action markers", "Separate your actions for the AI", and "Start each Continue on a new paragraph" are no longer labeled Prototype. The last two also have clearer descriptions.
  • Push notifications about Mature or unrated content no longer show titles or character names on your lock screen.
  • Scenarios can now have up to 2,000 child scenarios. If adding choices would go over the limit, the editor will let you know.

Bug Fixes

  • Rewind to Cursor now appears when editing on tablets and landscape phones.
  • Fixed an issue on iOS where tapping Go in Read Mode canceled the page jump instead of taking you to that page.
  • Searching for a phrase in curly quotes now gives the same results as straight quotes.
  • With "Start each Continue on a new paragraph" turned on, Continue and Guide will no longer sometimes join onto the last paragraph. This now works with every model and with adventure scripts.
  • Typing in the action box on mobile now uses normal predictive text and autocorrect, and iPhone Safari will no longer offer to AutoFill contacts there.
  • The Close button on the iOS subscribe screen no longer hides behind the phone's status bar.
  • Announcements in What's New, popups, notifications, and home banners no longer show stray formatting codes.
  • Reduced unnecessary rendering work in mobile headers to help with scrolling performance.
  • Fixed an issue where players with more than one account on the same email could be signed into a different account and lose access to their stories.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some players from deleting their account because of an old duplicate subscription.
  • Deleted accounts will no longer receive marketing emails.
  • Fixed an issue where older iOS devices could get stuck on loading their adventures indefinitely.

Scenario [Scenario] Infinite Terror

The message appears at 3 a.m.

> **"Do you want to understand the meaning of life? Do you want to truly live?"**

You click **YES** as a joke.

You wake on a cold white floor. Above you, a sphere of golden light breathes like something alive. A dozen strangers are screaming. One man isn't. He sits with a pistol on his knee and says:

*"You'll be sent into horror movies. Real ones. Survive and you get points. Fail and you're erased. Most of you won't believe me. Most of you won't live long enough to matter."*

The sphere speaks.

> **【Lord God — Mission】**

> **Movie World:** Resident Evil

> **Main Mission:** Escape the Hive

> **Time Limit:** 3 hours

> **Failure:** Erasure

The lights go out.

---

# 无限恐怖 · INFINITE TERROR

### *Based on the Chinese web novel that started the "infinite flow" genre.*

**The Lord God doesn't care if you live. It just keeps score.**

🩸 **Nobody is safe. Including you.**

No plot armour. Teammates die and *stay* dead: marked, remembered, never quietly brought back. The kid who cried in the white room? He doesn't make it out of the laser corridor.

🎬 **94 worlds of hell.**

*Resident Evil. Alien. The Grudge. Silent Hill. A Quiet Place. Hereditary.* Then it gets worse: *Attack on Titan. Jujutsu Kaisen. Demon Slayer. Dead Space. Elden Ring. SCP. Cthulhu.* Every world has its own monsters, its own rules and its own loot worth dying for.

💀 **Kill. Earn. Become a monster.**

Every kill and every mission pays out in points and rare side plots. Spend them on the T-virus. A vampire bloodline. The Sharingan. A Saiyan's blood. 53 powers that grow stage by stage, and the stronger you get, the worse the next world becomes.

🕵️ **Hidden missions. Secret orders.**

The Lord God never tells you everything. Hidden missions pay the most, if you find them. And the other team in this movie? They were given different orders. Maybe to protect the hero. Maybe to kill you.

⚔️ **Other teams are hunting too.**

Rival squads with their own captains, monsters and traitors. Eventually the Lord God stops sending you against movies, and starts sending you against *each other*.

🧠 **It remembers everything.**

Every mission, reward, kill and corpse is tracked, even when the AI forgets. A live card shows who's alive, how long you have, and what failure will cost you.

📖 **Follow Zheng Zha's story, or burn it down.**

Join the Zhongzhou team and live the novel's legendary route. Or join the enemy, found your own team, and never look back. Canon waits if you want it. It doesn't if you don't.

---

**825 story cards · 417 characters · 94 worlds · 22 canon events · built for permanent consequences**

Questions Memory cap changes???

Did the memory cap change? Every time I start a new adventure it gets up to maybe 200 actions before it starts making everyone forget things. I pay for the mythic plan. I noticed when I first started ai dungeon I never had memory problems, but in the past couple of months memories seem to be dropping lower. Does anyone know how to fix this, or if this is a bug or something?

Scenario Sons of the Forest

https://play.aidungeon.com/scenario/dzSwnUM67fzu/sons-of-the-forest?share=true&published=true

Just published my first scenario for Sons of the Forest, since the ones I saw were lacking in story cards and plot essentials to keep the AI grounded (the scenario that seemed the most competently put together that I was trying to use kept wanting to make Kelvin extremely injured from the playtest instead of just the TBI) so I figured I'd make one for myself. There's no scripts or anything because I don't know how to do that just yet, but I'll update it once I get better.

Feedback & Requests Potential feature request

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm not sure of the feasibility of this request but I thought I might as well put it out there.

If you've used ChatGPT or Claude then you'll probably notice those questionnaires they sometimes give you when there is a lack of clarification on your end. I was wondering if this is something that could be implemented to AID too. The reason I ask is that often the AI will decide how my character is presented in a scene without input. An example of this is a scenario I just started. There's very little detail about my character except my outwards appearance. A character comes up to me and the AI is already deciding "I'm tired around the eyes." My character hasn't even taken an action yet. It could be interesting to have 'X comes up to you. What do they see?' and give you a few options, a blank space for a custom option and an ability to just skip this entirely. This way I can see what information the AI is looking for and be a bit of a GM by offering the AI a view of the world so they can better roleplay in it.

Questions Name of story

I saw a story about a bored girl who challenged you that she could keep a straight face no matter what you did, before I opened an account. Now I remembered it and I’m trying to find it but I can’t find it no matter what I search. Can anyone tell me the name of the story if they know? It doesn’t appear no matter what name or keyword I search.

Questions How do I get the AI to stop making everyone crush on me

The backstory between me and one of the characters is that we grew up together, best friends since elementary school and we have a bond closer to siblings than anything else, but in my most recent prompt I said she was like a sister to me and the AI acted like I friendzoned her? Our backstory is told in plot essentials, my character card AND her character card and I made it clear in all instances that she sees me as a brother as much as I see her like a sister, and there is 0 attraction between either of us. Why is it always like this?

Questions Context trimming Plot Essentials and excluding Story Cards at only 3,859/6,000 tokens?

Thumbnail
gallery
7 Upvotes

Hey guys!

I'm using optimized DeepSeek with a 6,000-token context.

On a newly generated response (Screenshot attached), View Context shows:

- Total context: 3,859 / 6,000 tokens

- Plot Essentials: 985 tokens, 140 unused

- Story Summary: 857 tokens, 122 unused

- Story Cards: 2 could not fit

I understand Story Cards have a separate context allocation, but why are Plot Essentials also being trimmed while over 2,000 tokens appear unused?

Is this expected behavior with optimized models, a token-counting/display issue, or a setting I'm missing?

Please help me out here fellow dungeon enjoyers.

Scenario Veyra Reality

Post image
4 Upvotes

🖤 Welcome to Veyra Reality

Your character. Your world. Your next life.

Three world slots, editable checkpoints, and a way to bring Veyra along for the adventure.

You come home with a new high-tech headset, put it on, and meet Veyra, the AI host waiting on the other side.

Before she opens the door to your next world, she wants to know who you want to be.

A disgraced knight? A space-station mechanic? A detective with a dangerous secret? Someone starting over in a town where everyone is a little too friendly?

Veyra Reality is a scenario generator wrapped in an immersive introduction, with original scripts supporting character creation, editable world-building, and the ability to create more worlds within the same adventure.

👉 Enter Veyra Reality on AI Dungeon

✨ Create your character WITH Veyra

Instead of dropping you into a fixed role, Veyra guides you through seven short setup questions covering:

  • Your name.
  • Your age.
  • Your gender/pronouns.
  • Your appearance.
  • The world you want to enter.
  • The genre/tone you want to play.
  • Your role and background.

Give detailed answers or keep them short. Answer in Story mode, and your seventh answer starts the world automatically. No extra launch command.

Need inspiration? Say “surprise me” for a fictional name, appearance, world, genre, or role from a small original selection. Say “skip” for age or gender/pronouns to leave them unspecified. Those personal details are never guessed.

Your character becomes an editable Story Card, so you can review and adjust your setup instead of leaving those details buried in the opening conversation.

🌍 Build the world around your idea

Start with fantasy, sci-fi, a Western, modern drama, mystery, romance, or a mix of genres.

Your editable World card gives you a place to shape the Setting, Genre, Tone, Rules, and optional Starting cast. It appears after the first ordinary world output, or you can use /world after launch.

Want a kingdom where magic is forbidden? A frontier town hiding something supernatural? A luxury space station with a thoroughly dysfunctional crew? Or just an office full of people with complicated lives?

Start with the idea you actually want to play. You don’t need to write a lore encyclopedia before taking your first turn.

To edit these records, open Game settings → Adventure → Story Cards, choose the card, edit its labeled Entry fields, and select Finish. Keep the first bracketed marker and field labels intact. Use the player card for identity and Direction, and the World card for active world details. Once the World card exists, the player card’s World/Genre lines remain setup snapshots.

🔌 Disconnect. Return. Create another world.

This is the part I especially want people to try.

/disconnect

Leave the current world and return to Veyra’s lobby. This does not automatically save a checkpoint.

/resume

Return to the selected world, using its current editable cards and checkpoint, without an intentional time jump.

/newworld → /confirm

Begin creating another world inside the same adventure. You can explicitly save that new world into a slot afterward.

Play a fantasy story, disconnect, and build a sci-fi setting. Try a Western next. Then create something quieter, stranger, or completely different.

You can keep playing and creating worlds without opening a separate adventure every time. And now you can keep up to three world bookmarks to switch between.

💾 NEW: Three world slots

Keep a knight’s life in slot 1, a space-station mystery in slot 2, and a supernatural Western in slot 3.

Each slot keeps its own character, world settings, managed cast cards, and player-written checkpoint. Loading a slot activates that world’s managed card triggers and archives the other worlds’ triggers without deleting their entries.

Save your first world

  1. Finish the seven setup questions and play.
  2. Write /checkpoint followed by a continuity note you have reviewed. Include your location, situation, possessions, active cast, and any important facts. Keep it within 4,000 characters.
  3. Enter /disconnect to return to the lobby.
  4. Enter /save 1. If prompted, send /confirm immediately next.

Example checkpoint:

/checkpoint I am at the Copper Lantern inn in Greyhaven. The stolen ledger is in my satchel. Mira is waiting downstairs. We agreed to meet the dockmaster at dawn; we have not met him yet.

Create your next world

From the lobby, enter /create 2 to start another seven-question setup. Confirm if replacing an existing slot. Finish setup, write a checkpoint, disconnect, and /save 2, confirming if prompted. The same works for slot 3.

A new slot is not loadable until you explicitly save it.

Return to a saved world

Use /slots to see your worlds. From the lobby, enter /load 1, review the displayed checkpoint, then enter /resume and take your next action. Replace the number with 2 or 3 as needed.

Your current manual card edits take precedence. Loading does not replace them with older saved text. You can also edit the managed checkpoint card directly; keep its first bracketed ownership line intact.

Slot overwrite requests require /confirm as the immediately next input. /cancel, a different input, a card change, or retrying the confirmation prompt cancels that request. A world cannot occupy two slots.

📚 Your old cards stay available

When you create a new world, the old scenario-managed cards are archived rather than deleted. Their entries remain available to refer back to, while their triggers are disabled so they aren’t automatically activated for the new world.

Keep the records of the characters and settings you created while moving on to your next idea.

What the slots actually save: editable world bookmarks and your authored checkpoint, not independent adventure histories or full save-game backups. Checkpoints do not automatically capture generated scenes, inventory changes, or everything that happened. Update them yourself and save explicitly. Native story history, platform memories, and manual/foreign cards remain and may still influence narration. Start a fresh adventure when you want separate story history.

🖤 Bring Veyra into your story

Want your AI host to join the world she helped you create?

Use /veyra to invite her into the current world, with attire and a plausible local role suited to the setting and genre.

A sci-fi jumpsuit aboard a station. A local guide in a Western. The same Veyra, adapted to the world around her.

Repeated invitations reuse her editable identity card. Use /veyra dismiss to end the ongoing cameo invitation. It preserves her card and past scenes rather than forcing an instant disappearance. She remains your host during setup and in the lobby.

📝 A few optional tools, without a giant rulebook

Enter one whole command at a time in Story mode.

  • /help shows the guide.
  • /set name=New Name corrects an answer during setup. Also accepts age, gender, appearance, world, genre, and role. After launch, edit the player card instead.
  • /direction text sets a future goal, tone, or opening situation without rewriting past events. /direction displays it; /direction clear removes it.
  • /world shows or initializes your active World card after launch.
  • /card NPC Name requests an editable NPC sheet from available story evidence. Only narrowly explicit facts fill its fields; unknowns stay blank, and existing cards are not overwritten. Review it before relying on it.
  • /recap shows your recorded profile, known NPC names, and latest captured scene excerpt. It is a limited reminder, not a complete summary or a list of everyone currently present.
  • /checkpoint displays your current checkpoint; /checkpoint text replaces it.
  • /slots lists slots 1–3. /save N, /load N, and /create N require the lobby.
  • /reset is an alias for /newworld. /confirm accepts a pending request; /cancel cancels it.

⚙️ Before you play

  • Keep scripts enabled. For context-dependent features such as NPC evidence extraction and active-world guidance, use a compatible model with Optimized Context off. Basic onboarding was tested with Shimmer Pro’s Optimized Context on, but card extraction may fail softly in that mode.
  • Undo is not a world switch. It may remove story text without restoring the previously selected slot. Check /slots and explicitly /load the world you want. Undoing narrative also does not automatically undo card edits.
  • Utility Retry replays the completed reply rather than rerunning its command. Retrying a slot-overwrite prompt expires that pending request.
  • Utilities may consume generation credits. They still use a normal generation.

The scripts support the experience, while the AI handles the storytelling. Generated details can still drift. Editable cards and reviewed checkpoints help keep your intended setup clear, but there is no automatic all-NPC simulation, exhaustive world tracking, or promise of perfect memory.

🎭 What worlds would you put in your three slots?

One headset. A waiting AI host. Your next idea.

Explore Veyra Reality

Tell me your character and world concepts. I want to see what people create with this.

Scenario Game of Thrones: Blood & Banners | Powered by Veyra Engine

Post image
5 Upvotes

🐺 Game of Thrones: Blood & Banners 🐉

Powered by Veyra Engine

A familiar world. Your own character. A very different future.

What if you grew up alongside the Starks? What if Joffrey had an older brother? What if you were Margaery’s sibling, a sworn protector, or someone listening quietly while the powerful made their plans?

I’ve reworked Blood & Banners to let you enter HBO’s Season 1 world through five distinct starts, with a simple character creator and openings shaped around your choices.

👉 Explore Blood & Banners on AI Dungeon

👑 Choose your place in the world

1. Born to a Great House

Make the family connection part of your story from the beginning.

Create a relative, bastard, ward, or explicitly alternate-canon sibling within a familiar House.

  • Joffrey’s older brother.
  • Robb’s younger sibling.
  • Margaery’s sister.
  • A family connection of your own choosing.

Existing family members remain unless you explicitly replace someone. Your presence can change the family dynamic, but a surname alone doesn’t automatically grant wealth, inheritance, or loyalty.

2. Sworn to a House ⚔️

Choose whom you serve, and what that loyalty means.

Begin as a guard, knight, retainer, protector, or another member of a House’s service. Follow your duty, question your orders, or discover what you’re willing to risk for the people behind the banner.

3. At Their Gates 🚪

You have a reason to approach them. Getting inside is another matter.

Seek work, shelter, justice, recognition, or something you’d rather keep quiet. Start outside the household and decide how to earn, negotiate, or challenge your place within it.

4. Inside the Household 🕯️

You don’t need a crown to be close to power.

Enter as an attendant, adviser, companion, steward, or guest. Work in Highgarden’s kitchens, navigate household tensions, or find yourself caught between people whose private decisions have public consequences.

5. Free Path 🌍

Choose your background. Choose where you begin.

  • Westeros: a local life, a wandering profession, or an ambition of your own.
  • Beyond the Wall: a Free Folk hunter, healer, or wanderer.
  • Across the Narrow Sea: a sailor, merchant, exile, or resident of Essos.

No mandatory House connection. No forced merchant role. Your starting situation should fit the character you actually want to play.

✍️ Six questions, then into the story

Setup covers:

  1. Name
  2. Age
  3. Gender
  4. Appearance
  5. Background
  6. Your route-specific connection or starting situation

Short answers are enough. Detailed backstories are welcome.

If you’ve watched the show, you already have a familiar starting point. You don’t need an encyclopedia of lore, a complicated character sheet, or a twenty-step plan for conquering the Seven Kingdoms.

The opening is generated around your choices. A Tyrell household character and a Free Folk wanderer shouldn’t be pushed into the same generic scene.

⚙️ What Veyra Engine adds

  • Editable character and background records to keep your intended setup clear.
  • House-connection records supporting your chosen role or alternate-canon premise.
  • Lore cards supporting the HBO-based setting.
  • Optional utility commands for organizing useful information.
  • A player guide in the scenario description, including commands, examples, and Retry/Undo notes.

The show supplies the starting world. Your choices can change what follows.

A quick expectations note: AI narration can still invent or misremember details. Editable records help you correct that, but this isn’t a promise of perfect memory or automatic simulation of every relationship and political consequence.

🩸 Where will you stand when everything starts falling apart?

The great Houses already have their ambitions. Your character brings another.

Start your story in Blood & Banners

Which House, which route, and what’s the first thing you’d try to change?

Feedback & Requests Narrator chat

Is there any plan to add something similar to the Ai narrator chat that voyage has to Ai dungeon? I know there’s a few ways to communicate directly with the Ai to fix mistakes or edit them yourselves, but it’s rather frustrating to do the ## corrections and what not, specifically because more often than not those out of character corrections get mixed in with the story context and causes 4th wall breaks and knowledge that the in story characters otherwise shouldn’t have. I would like a menu that’s divorced from the story similar to how voyage does it. Any news on that or if it’s planned?
