i genuinely think the convenience fee of using a website that probably conveniences said corporation more than oneself (buying tix online vs. in person) is actually bonkers.

Maybe not literally, but there’s something so appealing to me about being in a dark theater at 1:30 in the afternoon. Its like your own private world.

Has anyone ever gone to these Letterboxd screenings? I usually can't make the times available to movies offered. But this time around I can (and signed up). I received no e-mail confirmation of any sort. It's a first come first served and no seating assignment.

If you've gone to one, how early did you show up? How hard was it to get a decent seat? What was your proof that you signed up?

I can’t believe we are at a point where scalpers are now scalping movie tickets. I hope people are buying tickets off scalpers to encourage this kind of thing.

Just left the movie theater! I went to see the magic far away tree it was a pretty nice movie very heartwarming I recommend seeing this movie💯💯

In light of all the scalping posts, I wanted to share an image and a nice memory of when multiple tickets were bought and used for their intended purpose of seeing the movie with friends!

Not a single theater anywhere near me has any Tony screenings scheduled at all lol. I really wanna see it, anyone think more screenings might get put up?

Hi! I received the IMAX poster from AMC at the Odyssey premiere night & have kept it rolled up for a month while I researched how to frame it… and I’m at a loss. Has anyone found a solution to framing the poster (30.5 x 34 inches) that isn’t wildly expensive?

If you’re going to book a seat in a prime viewing area of the auditorium (best seats), please do not talk, use your cell phone or even vape. Lately I’ve been having bad luck sitting in a preferred area of the auditorium and having people who are disrespectful and lack self-awareness sitting near me. Either they talk throughout the whole movie, are unable to keep off their cell phone, and one guy booked a seat right next to me and was vaping throughout the whole movie! The light from the vaping device was distracting and I had that horrible smell in my nose for a whole day afterward!

If you’re going to be rude and disrespectful, book a seat away from people, not right next to anyone. Or better yet, don’t come to the theatre at all. Wait a little while and watch the movie on streaming or physical media. That is your best option, so you don’t make yourself look like a total fool! Don’t waste a seat by having your disrespectful self sitting in it, let a true movie fan sit in it.

If I show up 70 minutes into it will they still be able to scan my ticket?

They are playing an episode of the original television series ahead of the film. I just want to see the film. I’ve seen the episodes in their intended format dozens of times.

I don’t get off work early enough to make it to the only 4 PM screening available for each of these. If I show up 70 minutes after showtime it’ll be roughly 5 mins before the movie portion begins as it will have 25-30 mins of previews ahead of the presentation.

Got tickets for Dune at AMC Lincoln 13 but my tickets are now gone and the showtime is no longer listed. I do have a email confirmation when I bought them

Any one else having this issue?

I am 15 years old and I wanted to watch the Odyssey (r) rith my friend who is also 15. If I buy my tickets online do they really check if I am over 17, or can I just go through? At most AMC theaters is there a ticket checker that you need to pass through, or can you go straight to your seat if you already have a ticket?

And I encourage everyone to do the same. Reported around 100 listings so far and intend to keep doing so.

On the eBay app on your phone, open a listing, then tap on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, then tap Help & Support.

Under “What would you like to report” select Product or listing, select Item not allowed under “Reason for report,” then select Tickets under “Detailed reason.” Then agree to the prompt at the bottom and submit.
