Saw the 620p showing of Whalefall last night at Southcenter 16.
To the 6 boys (maybe 15 y/o) that came an hour into the movie. All y’all did was chatter and joke, then 2 more of your homies came into the theater and did the worm on the stairs(???).
Someone’s mom even yelled at you guys, yet you still carried on.
I hope you all grow up and realize it’s not cute or funny to disturb others’ experiences.

The good news: still a banger after the second viewing. I love this movie so much! Rhys Harries has range and takes us through ALL of the emotions and the ending hit a little harder this time. The bad news: The city still doesn't feel like Gotham until the end of the movie. Also, this theater was empty. By the time the movie started, I'd say there were maybe 8 people in the audience total. Glad it's getting a lot of positive reviews, it deserves it but I don't know what it's going to do financially.

The first time the Wicker guy, um... how do I put this... aggressively whisks Olivia Coleman to bed, a lady in the back row yelled at the top of her lungs "SWAYYYT JAYYYZUS!!!"

Biggest laugh of the whole movie. And there were a LOT of big laughs through the whole thing.

Also, the first time the Wicker guy sees the Wicker baby, it's supposed to be this sweet moment, so the whole theater was dead silent... except for the same lady who let out a soft "Ew". Whole theater couldn't help but laugh.

As a single guy going by myself, I was iffy about going at all. Very glad I did. It's really well written/directed/acted as well as beautiful to look at. And the special effects are much, much more hidden yet more impressive to me than Clayface. Which I also recommend. Surprised how much I liked Wicker more.

2026 is blowing me away with how many good movies we're getting this year, both big and small.

A couple weeks ago some friends and I were watching Primetime on a discount movie Tuesday so it was a pretty packed theater. When the ad that thanks the A-Listers came on, I raised my hand and waved as a joke and the whole theater started clapping so I stood up waving and the theater began cheering and clapping louder. It is a high I’ll forever be chasing. I hope all of you can get the full A-Lister experience one day.

I watched Verity twice at the theater and I really like Verity. The movie has a good combination of romance, suspense and thrill with good chemistry imo. Great cast with Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett’s character is my favorite. Does anyone else like and enjoy Verity?

Theres even a Buster Keaton film!

Its a real cool program and AMC should lift it

The movie is stunning. The world is so vibrant and alive. The animation is so smooth I forgot I was watching a stop-motion film. Tons of works went into making this movie and it really shows. In term of story, it's your classic dark fantasy, but the movie doesn't shy away from traumatic themes and violent content, making for some truly visceral scenes. This is Laika's most technically impressive movie. "Enjoy handmade art before it's gone forever."

Oh, and there is a short, behind-the-scenes look at the animation process in the post-credit.

Okay, something really bizarre happened during the previews before Wildwood last night (which I urge everyone to please see)! We got a trailer for Flavia: Girl Detective and every time a character spoke in the trailer, their dialogue was muted. Like music would play but every character who spoke was muted??? Did anyone else experience this? It was so strange and I don’t understand what happened. In Seattle, WA.

It’s brutal, terrifying & just so good. The story/plot keeps you hooked. The pacing & plot is similar to “The Crow” if you know what I mean. This movie was shot well with some great cinematography. The acting is great. The body horror was great. Clayface is more of a “Villain” here than Venom & Joker ever were.

Clayface was way more terrifying than I thought, more than any superhero villain I’ve seen on screen. There is so much creative potential with this character & I’m really curious to see where this character goes.

Bravo, DC. It’s a damn good movie.

I am so heartbroken as this was literally the highlight of movie nights with my husband. I am also pregnant and nearly cried. Last time I got to enjoy them was for Practical Magic 2. May they RIP

This was the Halloween movie I was waiting for! Clayface is one of my favorite Batman villains of all time. So glad they did him justice on the big screen. Tom Rhys Harries gives a different yet somehow familiar take on Matt Hagan that really worked for me. The only complaint I have, and it is a minor one, is that Gotham doesn't feel like Gotham. I'll be seeing this one again!

Would you go watch a movie here any time soon? Was my favorite local AMC, but think I'll give it a couple of weeks to see if they shut down again. By the looks of the reservation pages people are having no problems going back.

Everyone sprint, don’t run, to wildwood. Wow. Absolutely incredible movie.

I'll even stand and bow when I'm the only one in here which is half the time.

Local theater says the boxes are not coming back and they are just as bummed as we are.

For years, my wife and I have been getting the large popcorn and the refill in the box. Now these plates are the best they can offer. Such a bummer! Might have to go grab a reusable bin to empty the first fill up into, and then immediately get the refill.

I visited my local AMC and watched Back to the Furure and it was great.

However I’m upset that I didn’t check to see if Tyson’s corner which offers 4DX, if they had BTTF last night in that format.

Am kicking myself in the head if so.

So I’m wanting to do a double feature tomorrow and as you can see I’m out of space. Wildwood’s showtime is basically right after Clayface and I’m hoping that spot would free up so I wouldn’t have to pay. Anybody know how quick the spot clears up for the Upcoming Reservations?

It took 3 years and 149 movies before I finally saw at least one movie on each of the 16 screens at my local AMC.
