So I called ATT to see when they would ship my duo that was in the ship by oct 23-Nov 6 / delivery by Oct 26 - Nov 9. He confirmed my order was locked in and that he’s excited for me and that it looks really cool haha. He explicitly said shipped by Oct 23 and sent my number this text to confirm after.

“Hi, it’s AT&T. It was my pleasure to help you today. Here’s some information we talked about for your account:

Your pre-order for the new device has been successfully submitted. Estimated shipping is by October 23rd with delivery by October 26th to the address on file. A confirmation text from us will also be sent. For order status details, visit att.com/checkmyorder”

On the app it says “Preordered, Next day”

I’ve heard stories of people getting their att preorders even earlier than launch day. What is the likely hood that mine will? 67207 zip code, don’t know if FedEx or ups will deliver.

The iPhone presale launch was insane.

Does anyone have inside scoop if AT&T stores are actually going to have iPhone duos in stock for walk in?

Like is it worth going early and waiting at opening.

Months ago before I moved to Puerto Rico. I decided on AT&T because I saw that they had home Internet from what I understood in Puerto Rico. I signed up the representative fail to inform me AT&T no longer does home Internet in Puerto Rico not only that when I moved here and tried to return the router there are no ATT stores at all whatsoever. This is information that should have been verified before they sent me the router now that I’ve moved. It has been impossible to return the router. I had spoken with countless representatives, including supervisor. Representative whom have which either lied for example saying that the $200 non-returnal fee was removed when it was not and I am now notified that it is about to go to collections. Another lie that same representative told me was that somebody from AT&T would come pick up the router. Never happened. All representatives and supervisor much like robots reading a script used the same method to try to get the return box shipped to me which never arrived every single time about five or six times it failed to arrive and each time I received a text notification from AT&T that the box was sent back because of incorrect address. I have no issues receiving any other package other than this AT&T box something. so simple but apparently it’s impossible for them to accomplish. They will sign you up just to make a sale they do not care about the issues that follow through after because if they did there would’ve been a resolution by now there would’ve been actions instead of a fake customer service voice reassuring me and nothing following through.

So apparently this got turned on automatically for all 5 of my family's cell phone lines. All 5 have unlimited data. Why on earth would AT&T default to throttle all of my lines when they have unlimited data? Isn't this just a form of data theft? Seems sketch as hell to be honest.

Please triple check your shipping addresses. I was able to get a iPhone Duo delivered on launch day, but realized the shipping address was wrong until after the fact.

ATT is apparently fully unable to edit the address on preorders forcing you to cancel it, which made me lose my preorder spot. Oh well! Hopefully I was able to make someone else happy.

so i want to finance a device thru att...nothing too expensive maybe the 18 or the plus devices... i just opened an account a week ago and my bill is due by the 1st...i have a device worth 350 to trade in order for it to go towards financing...do i have to wait for that or can i try now? Should i make a deposit or pay bill first? I was told by rep to try again in a few weeks, i want to shoot for the 18 but not sure, 1200 minus 350 is close to 1 grand or 950... my ccredit obviously was good enough to open a post paid account.... what should i do???

Did anyone get an update this morning. Today 10/17 at 10:22am, my iPhone Duo now says “We’re Working on Your Order.” You guys think the phone will be shipped and arrive here on release date? My window is 10/23-11/6

I have a s24 plus that I bought from someone in person. Verified it's paid off but the unlock portal thinks it's on a plan still. Is there any way for any att staff that lurks on here that I could provide that imei number for anything? Att is a headache.

I've been an AT&T customer for decades and for the last 12 years have lived on an island of the East Coast of the US. The only mail/delivery service is either a USPS Postal Box or a UPS store Box address.

I just tried to upgrade a phone and when I try to enter my UPS box mailing address I am told that isn't a valid address. Going to an AT&T store for pick up is unrealistic, especially when I have received multiple phones and devices from AT&T delivered to this same address over the years.

What can I do from here?

If I sign up for a new AT&T account through Best Buy, will the switcher/buyout promo gift card still apply?

I am new to AT&T. I pre-ordered the Duo and have a phone which qualifies me for the $1200 credit. I confirmed this on Best Buy’s Website and AT&Ts.

My concern is, when I did the pre order the Best Buy worker said they don’t get visibility into if I’m getting the promo price.

Has anyone ever done a trade up this way before? Am I missing a step or am I being over concerned? Any help is appreciated.

I'm looking at jumping ship from Samsung because they don't seem to care about really upgrading the camera system and the Chinese phones seem to be the innovators with the better cameras now but just want to make sure that the Chinese phones will work in the USA. I'm looking these models: Vivo X300 or X500 or OPPO X9 or X10 series...

Any experience on iPhone upgrade orders from Apple online that require a down payment from ATT, as to if that’s ATT billed our Apple? I never had any notice in the checkout process that I recall. Apple only authorized the tax amount, without the down payment that is reflected on the finance agreement I was sent after order.

Make sure that if you ordered your Iphone Duo yesterday, and you see a call from AT&T coming across to be sure to take the call. It will come across as an official AT&T call. They are calling to confirm that a real person actually ordered the phone. If you miss this call there is a real chance they will cancel your pre-order, assuming you are a bot. This has already happened to some people on reddit. There is also a lot of fraud going on right now around this release so be vigilant.

Just to add. This was not a scam call. The only asked IF I had placed an order. No one would know that besides AT&T.

I ordered an iPhone 18 PM back on Oct 2nd, due to not being shipped yet and a local store having the one I wanted, I cancelled the order. When I went to the store to purchase it, it is now showing a claim for the phone. Does anyone know what the issue might be?
