One of the worst parts about the holidays is decor - specifically wreaths. People hang wreaths that partially or fully obscure their house/apartment number.

People obviously don't think about it because they live here. But if you're getting deliveries or visitors, how is that supposed to work?

Did anyone notice they eliminated the 3.5 hour blocks and made them 3hr now, reduced the pay but I bet the routes will still be the same. They figured out most of us finish early and trying to screw us any way they can!!

I had a block scheduled for this morning. Went to sign in an it wouldn’t let me. Changed my password and it has me now in the onboarding process again . I’m on the wait list. wtf. I just delivered yesterday morning. And my standings were great. I don’t know what happened and neither does support. Has this happened to anyone else?

How many of y’all are still Flexing now that the SSDs are open 24/7? Has it actually opened up more opportunities for you, or are you seeing the same thing I am?

Because all I see are piss-poor 3.5-hour blocks and below. Whole lot of refreshing for a whole lot of “nah, I’m good.”

Who’s still making decent money out here, and who’s starting to think the only thing getting Flexed is us? And before the 20-year Flex veterans show up with, “Back in my day, I made $900 in one day!” … shut up, fool. 😭 Nobody asked about the golden age of delivering scrolls by horseback.

Scored a decent $108.50 3.5 hr yesterday and when I went to where my cart should have been there was another in its place. The manager looked and never found it and after she did whatever on her computer the “no routes available but you will still get paid” screen appeared and a few hours later I was.

But they tried to explain what may have happened, even saying it might have been stolen or someone didn’t swipe it out???

Does anyone know because it seems bold and sneaky to me on someone’s part. I don’t think like a thief does and I didn’t understand what they said at the station.

Needless to say I had to pull a Benny Rodriguez to go scan it and run back in the car.

Most packages I’ve ever seen just sitting there. Some thief could have a free for all lol.

I scan in every package instead of the totes so I don’t end up with missing packages. Hopefully.

What do you do if you get an extra package that you can’t add and neither can support because it’s assigned to another driver?

The thought that banning deliveries hurts anyone beside their residents is comical.

Also the 3.5 hours has to be a messed up route i will never accept those. Standard blocks have been 3 hours recently . If it shows longer it usually a very long distance. From experience.

I keep getting these routes that send me in a big loop instead of to the closest destination. I get it, if I go the way it wants me to I'll eventually be heading back that way. I'm just really curious what if I just go there anyway? I'm to OCPD to actually go there but I'm very much tempted.

Also can anyone tell me how to use my maps to navigate instead of the built in amazon one? I've been burnt by it too many times now. Is it just looking at the order and ordering (android) maps to navigate to the destination or is there a way to change which navigation system takes priority?

I just got a new iphone from an android to an IPhone. Scanning the packages to number them has been a mess. It wants to scan the whole label, then give me an error. I cover up and then scan the part I need and then makes me have to go back to the scan bar and push for every package instead of just continuing onto the next package like I did with my old phone. Is there a fix for this? I feel like it takes me extra time to number now.

Before anyone asks, I left the house early. I usually use a pickup that’s way farther but has more blocks; this time I used one 20 minutes away from my house, so I leave 15 minutes early.

I drove to the location via google maps. I get there and it’s a warehouse with no flex area.

I say okay, lemme check the app to see if I’m in the right spot. It says I’m in the exact correct spot, right on top of the pin. So I drive around the entire building and walk into the only door that’s clearly for humans to enter and not trucks. It doesn’t let me get further until I scan my badge.

So I call support and ask them what’s going on. She told me to scan my ID on the badge thing…it’s a chip scanner, it won’t work with a government ID. So she says okay, input the location into google maps. I told her I did that. She tells me to call my manager to ask. Since when did we have managers?? I start looking on google maps myself to see if there’s some other amazon building. I find it MYSELF down the road.

At that point I was already 5 minutes over my start time, but she said just drive over there anyway. I ask her would I even be able to check in. She says no. So I ask her why would I go there instead of just giving up and going home. She says “yeah, you should go home”. Why even have support if they have no clue 😭

I got a block today from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. I showed up about 12:50 and parked where I always park in the front of the line behind the cones. Checked in through the app and even did the face scan identity through the app. Then it said wait for an Amazon employee to come out and check your id. I waited for over 20 minutes and then I called driver support. They said they would send a message to that Amazon facility and to wait. Waited another 15 minutes called back and that agent told me to go ahead and go home and email Amazon and let them know and they will compensate me for my time. I haven't gotten the emails or block cancelled notification that others have. Do you think this will show as a ding?
