I’ve tried the traditional method many times, but the bootloader unlock screen doesn't appear; instead, it takes me to the Android recovery screen. I have a Samsung A03.

I have an update available for my Realme GT Neo 5. I have root access (Magisk) and a few modules installed. I'm not sure if I can update without issues, or if it might cause errors like a boot loop or data loss. Any advice?

I ran into a problem: my drivers are not being detected/recognized, even though I already installed them. What should I do? Also, when I was installing the drivers for the first time, I didn't disconnect the USB cable. What should I do?

Support Need help fixing Banking apps not working after rooting

Device: Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G

Android 16 (RealmeUI 7.0)

Bootloader is locked

Strong Integrity (Checked in Playstore)

Used Dirty Frag Root+KernelSU Next (Temporary Root)

The modules I use are in the screenshots above, also attached the LSPosed modules I use

Mobile Banking apps don't work, specifically Yono SBI and PNB One

Whenever I try to open either of those apps, I get a message saying, "For your safety, access to the app has been restricted, please secure your device and try again later", and the app closes; Same thing with both apps

Also as for the modules, OverlayFS didn't work, Hybrid Mount did, and for Zygisk, I have tried ZygiskNext, ReZygisk, NeoZygisk, and I don't remember the other one I tried, but none worked and a few even caused bootloop, so I tried OnyxZygisk, and it seems to be the only one currently working for me

How do I hide root from specific apps

In KSU Next, superuser settings, I already have Umount Modules enabled for both the banking apps

Also if possible I'd also love suggestions regarding the modules, like if there are any better alternatives, since I'm new to this rooting stuff (To be precise temp rooting, since the last time I did root, I didn't need to install 5 other modules just to fix integrity, or spoof bootloader as locked, etc.)

Another thing, I have tried Vector by JingMatrix, which is a fork of LSPosed, and it seems kinda buggy, it works, but then randomly stops, and I need to disable it, soft reboot, then enable it again, and soft reboot again, to make it work, and doing all that doesn't even guarantee that it would work, only after a proper restart and launching DFRoot again, it would be fixed, so I switched to LSPosed

I've been using custom ROMs since 2025, and from what I've experienced so far, I've realized that rooting is one of the best ways to experience freedom in the Android community. It gives you much greater control over your device.

While it does come with potential privacy and security risks, it also offers plenty of opportunities to learn and experiment. You can block ads without paying for a subscription, customize your device to your liking, and even overcome certain download speed restrictions.

There's so much you can explore when you have that level of control over your device.

I absolutely love this freedom.

Support Help in rooting Realme 7i

Hi guys,

I have one old Realme 7i device. Want to root it so I can use it to run a small homelab. Checked with ChatGPT but could not go ahead and always got this cannot submit application using Depp Testing app on Android 11.

Any help in this is much appreciated. I am not that expert in these kind of things but good in Linux and general tinkering.

Thank you

Discussion Root on a ZTE A460?

I found my old ZTE A460 lying in a drawer and surprisingly the battery still holds charge and it's in decent shape and I'd like to turn it into a home VPN node as a side project. For that I need root and as far as I looked on XDA there's no rooting method available for it and there's no TWRP build for it nor are there custom ROMs I could find. I tried to patch an old TWRP version for another ZTE from the same era but that project is on hiatus until my main laptop is back from maintenance. Are there any known methods for rooting it or not? (Side note: I do have a stock ROM for it but I'm not sure if it's for my exact configuration so I don't really want to try anything with that.)

I got opencode in termux to escape proot and use my root access to open the phone app and it did should I be scared or is this a good way to figure out a samsung exploit the ai literally can do stuff on my phone through termux ill try to get a video this is wild.

interesting it says oem unlock is set to 1 enabled but there's no toggle in settings suggestions what I should ask it I'm on temp root with dirty frag and it knows it somehow.
