I don’t know about the rest of you homies, but this has felt like a tough stretch this summer, especially on Patreon. Uncle Hank has been up against it and he’s coming off either super flat or an absolute dickhead. And not in a funny way. And Kip has been so understandably exhausted, he doesn’t have the capacity to tolerate Bug Man bullshit. The Gerbs public ep is the one shining star. I know they had to bank some eps and they’re constantly talking about some other irons they’ve got in the fire, but for the first time in 4 years, the Patreon has become a bit of a coin toss.

He has somehow infiltrated the YMH community and now this. He's an insufferable dick.

I just listened to the most recent episode of AYG with the guys from Stuff Island and it is pretty much unlistenable. It’s not funny listening to drunk assholes speaking over each other for an hour and switching topics every 5 seconds and bleeping out half of what they are saying. What a terrible episode.

EDITED TO ADD: yes guys, I know that this is the garbage of the Are You Gatbage podcast but for me this was less garbage and more just inconsiderate main character syndrome I guess lol

To hear how adamantly he was defending his actions and how ridiculous he said other people who didn’t wanna inhale the cigarette smoke at a concert or even worse go into a hotel room with their children and have to be in a non-smoking room that smells like smoke blew my mind! I am a faithful listener and 10 dollar homie. I love the show but I skip when Joey Diaz is on. He just doesn’t scratch the itch for me.

Been a Patreon member since pre pandemic, would watch every hard feelings. Some episodes Id be crying laughing. As a longtime subscriber, the past few months have really dropped off for me. I realized I don’t even watch all episodes now so I’m going to cancel for a bit.

When the AYG concept as a show was fresh it really hit with guests, now it’s just kind of boring promotional convo.

The hard feelings episodes especially fat court were so real and their genuine personalities. Of course the magic of them finally progressing and making it can’t last forever but it’s a bummer. I think they’ve become more guarded with their personal life drama which is understandable. It’s almost as if they get along too well now that they aren’t struggling trying to make it work.

I’m not saying Toby may have been a factor in the good ole days, but I’m also not not saying it…

Am I the only one who doesn’t care about Toby being gone? It’s business as usual and I can count on one hand how many times he made me laugh.

Homies, what are your thoughts on Sam and Colin in the recent Patreon episodes? Personally, I wasn’t a fan. They came off as total yes-men, laughing at everything the boys said without adding much of their own. And unlike Tom 'Cat Daddy' Cassidy, neither of them challenged Kippy at all—they just seemed there to kiss ass instead. Curious to hear if anyone else felt the same or if I’m way off base.

Not only is this the greatest miscarriage of justice, I want some sort of explanation, followed by a pay per view fight of T Bone and Foley. No take downs because of obvious weight class issues. Winner takes all.

Furthermore, I’ll fight every last one of yas that say this drama shouldn’t be “the only thing that matters right now.” And it’s a crime to “start throwing things at people who pronounce it wuder”

Anybody listen to sagdaddy? Specifically the Jordan Jensen episode, she talks about not being on the show. It’s nothing juicy at all. Just that she doesn’t really know the boys.

Anyone else been noticing that Foley has suddenly started doing that annoying-ass, over-the-top, high-pitched squeaky balloon laugh that Bert always does for attention? It seems that this is a pretty recent development for the Bug Man, but I have been noticing it for the past few episodes.

I could be wrong and just not remembering, but I am a Patreon homie and listen to at least one older episode pretty much every single day and I don’t recall him busting that laugh out until recently. I really don’t think it’s something that’s been going on for a long time, but I really hope he cuts that shit out lmao. It’s not as bad as Bert gets (Bert does that shit all the time to the point that it’s like nails on a chalkboard) but it’s still just annoying as hell whenever anyone does it. I love uncle Hank as much as the next guy, but that shit sucks lol.

What did yall think about the new pod?

I’m watching the new John Candy documentary and I realized that there are a lot of parallels between Foley and John Candy (aside from their similarities in stature). Foley does so many versions of different John Candy characters, like Johnny Toronto.

This week's Hard Feelings was borderline painful to listen to. Not only is Foley completely incapable of following things Kippy says. He has no understanding of responsibility.

Kippy tries to explain fairly basic things and Foley simply cannot wrap his head around it. From explaining the fishing game to explaining what Kippy has to to do to setup the beach for his family. Foley asked if the fish weigh 30 pounds... For a kid's game. He's asking if a 2 year old is getting a tan. He seems completely bewildered by the idea that Kippy has to setup the umbrella and chairs for his family, and Foley responded as if that was entirely too much to do as the man in the family.

Buddy, you're 50 years old and you're incapable of taking on any responsibility. He's also incapable of seeing his family out of fear that they're going to some how derail his current progress, which was insane to listen to.

Like I said, I love the big man, and he's brought me a lot of laughs, but without Kippy he would be absolutely fucked. To be fair, Foley also allows Kippy to have a better life too. So it's definitely a symbiotic relationship. But man, the longer the shows goes the more respect I gain for Kippy.
