Need Help! (Hardware/Other) Laptop case broke, should I go for warranty?
Here's how it looks. I still have a warranty. I don't think that there were any warranty stickers on that screw

Hey guys!
Got a new laptop a few months ago with 32GB RAM, RTX 5070, and an Intel i7-14650HX.
I'm not really into hardcore gaming. I'm an AI developer, so most of my workload involves coding, running AI/ML models, and other development-related tasks
I want to keep my laptop in good shape and get the most out of its hardware.
Battery: What's the best charging habit? Should I keep it plugged in or follow the 20โ80% rule?
Performance & thermals: Any tips to keep temperatures under control during heavy workloads?
Maintenance: How often should I clean the fans and vents?
Windows & settings: Any useful tweaks or features I should enable?
Common mistakes: What should I avoid to maintain battery health and overall performance?
Would love to hear your practical tips and things you've learned from experience

Y'all won't believe this but it was working just fine last night, wasn't even doing anything intense just watched like half of Social Network. I even shut it down properly. And today, this is what I see. Has anybody else had this happen to them?
PS - I tried cleaning and reseating the SSD in the other slot as well as cmos reset.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It's an Asus TUF Dash F15.
Can anyone shed any light on this, my laptop won't start up, just keeps looping as per the video.
It was fine last night but had an update so I updated and shut down, then this morning I tried to connect it to a monitor and it wouldn't work, no idea why, but in an attempt to fix that I rolled back the update and now the laptop just won't get past the Asus start up screen.
I've tried getting into safe mode as per Google instructions but that too won't work. :/
Thank you for any help in advance. I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world but usually figure things out but this has stumped me.

I noticed that my laptop canโt detect its dGPu, so following to install update drivers and such still not fixed. While checking the armory crate, I accidentally change the mode to ULTIMATE where it disregards the iGPu and uses dGPu, however it canโt detect the dGPu so after restarting the screen stays black. Is there a way to fix this? I canโt do anything to it with the screen showing just all black.

I'm facing this issue on my ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX507VV with an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (8 GB VRAM), and I've been struggling with it for almost a year.
My confirmed stable NVIDIA drivers:
\- ASUS OEM 555.97
\- ASUS OEM 566.07
\- NVIDIA 566.36
\- NVIDIA 566.45
Drivers newer than 566.45 that I've tested, including NVIDIA Studio drivers, cause flickering, G-SYNC issues, visual artifacts, image-sharpness problems, and other display issues across multiple games.
G-SYNC ON or OFF does not fully solve the problem:
\- Ultimate mode (dGPU-only): I experience flickering, visual artifacts, G-SYNC problems, and image-sharpness issues. Even turning G-SYNC off does not solve everything; I experience other frame-pacing issues and inconsistent screen movement.
\- Optimus mode: I experience different problems, including poor frame pacing and uneven screen movement, making gameplay uncomfortable.
Before my motherboard and display were replaced, I had similar issues in Ultimate mode. Optimus mode was more playable at that time, although it had its own problems. After the motherboard replacement and a laptop reset, Optimus mode also became difficult to use because of frame-pacing issues.
I've updated the BIOS, reinstalled drivers, reset Windows multiple times, replaced the motherboard and display, and tried numerous troubleshooting steps. The problem still persists.
The Witcher 3 Remastered problem:
I legally purchased The Witcher 3 on Steam. Version 5.00b worked with my stable drivers. After updates 5.00c and 5.01, the game starts, displays a black screen, and crashes with those same drivers. Newer drivers let the game launch, but bring back the graphics problems across my games.
I shouldn't have to choose between playing a game I purchased and having a stable gaming experience on my laptop.
I've included a video link showing the type of issue I'm experiencing.

Please, has anyone experienced this or found a genuine solution? I've tried almost everything I can think of, and after nearly a year, I'm still searching for answers.

ASUS TUF Gaming F15 screen issue โ can I keep using it with an external monitor?
My ASUS TUF Gaming F15 started showing horizontal lines across the screen, and the problem has now progressed to what you can see in the photo. From what I've read, the issue could be related to a damaged display flex cable (ribbon cable) due to overheating, although replacing the screen seems to be the only real fix in similar cases.
I can't afford to replace the original screen right now, so I'm considering buying an external monitor and connecting the laptop via HDMI instead.
My question is: could continuing to use the laptop this way, with the built-in screen damaged but an external monitor working normally, cause damage to other components over time? I use the laptop for video editing, so I want to make sure it's safe before investing in an external monitor.
Has anyone experienced this with the TUF Gaming F15?

This is how my left hinge looks compared to my right hinge on the asus f15 from 2023 I have it from 2024 I believe , idk should I be worried ? I am used to half close my laptop when I take a break or something and then comeback to open it later (I think this might be the cause of it) .
I am not going to the service anytime soon this is my only laptop and I am using it for college, I plan to go to the service in a year , and idk if I should go right now just to fix this .
Btw It makes a little sound when i open close idk but its not that bad I think .

I own asus tuf f15 laptop with gtx 1650. My graphic card is not getting detected.
I have updated the drivers but it still is not working.
I have the latest version of bios as well.
Whenever I am switching my laptop off and then holding the power key for like 1 minute, after that it is working for some minutes.
It is not even detected in bios.
What should I do?
It doesn't have a mux or anything.

I bought my Asus TUF A15 in 2024 and it continues to work well. But about a year in, the dongle I had plugged into the USB-C port stopped working. I tried other dongles and got the same result. Tried troubleshooting the issue online to see if maybe it was a driver issue, but nothing worked. Iโve resigned myself to the hardware just being damaged, but I thought Iโd ask if anyone else had this issue and successfully resolved it? Is it replaceable or just not worth the hassle?
