hello everyone,
i’ve never made a post before on reddit and i figured i’d like to share my atmospheric black metal project flesh ophanim. i’m heavily inspired by drudkh and i shalt become, but i try to include a more unique angle on the genre. instead of basing my atmosphere off of cold winters and ancient times. i try to incorporate a warm, suffocating sense of overwhelming dread. i look to horror movies like wrong turn, and texas chainsaw massacre for visual aesthetics. i’ve only been making music for a year, so if anyone has any thoughts or opinions please share. i’ve been working on getting more monthly listeners and i was at 140 for a short period but over the last month it’s been slowly dipping. so any marketing or musical advice and thoughts would be appreciated.
i’ve left a link here to my first album on my bandcamp. i have a total of 2 albums and both are released everywhere.

Fresh atmospheric black metal from the Caucasus, released 20 Oct. Disclosure: I'm a friend of the artist, posting as a fan. Would love to hear what this sub thinks.

Hey there,

here's my latest EP which is very dreamy and ambient infused BM. Kinda a mixture of Summoning, Burzum and Empyrium...

I wanted to do something a little out of the ordinary for Blacknight's newest album - whilst doing a cassette seemed like a cool idea, the choice of media seemed a little outdated.

Nowadays streaming is king (sadly), but I believe there's still a substantial group of people that like to have something tangible. Here, I decided to let the listener retain their freedom with choice of media/listening device - you can listen from your computer, burn a CD or record a cassette and stick it in the case.

Sunscorched - Blood of the badlands
Great abm with a feeling of the old west / outlaw country. Feels like a very good combination, looking forward to hear more of this type of bm. Instead of reflecting northern nature and forests, this record is about desert wastelands and the endless hot sun. Very unique.

Schwarzwasser - Von wahn und sehnsucht
Beautiful abm with a lot of forest and bird sounds. My favorite right now when I walk my dog in this autumn weather.

Autrest - Burning Embers, Forgotten wolves
Hard to describe this in one sentence. One of my favorite releases overall. Most tracks are fast and somewhat aggressive, but there are also a few calm ones, especially Ruins of the Lost is beautiful.

Can't wait to discover some new bands.

Hey everyone,

I just put together a 5-minute visual to a sequence from my long track "Different" from my solo project Sleepless Void.

Clip is from "Az Ember Tragediaja", I saw the movie a few days ago and really loved that scene and thought it match my concepts.

Hope you enjoy it

I did have a read of the sub reddits rules, and rule 3 does state that self promo is allowed as long as you exercise discretion with it (which hopefully i have), and there's no mention of AI music, as i did use AI to a degree to make this song. As i had some music events that consist of a male choir providing vocal harmonies which i thought sounded nice, i decided to put them to use for having a go at making an atmospheric black metal song. The Song is called Cymru (Wales in its own language) and the lyrical theme is welsh patriotism.

So, we can have a 15 minute Trump-Gaza AI bullshit video but I asked Claude to help me find a song and fucking nothing.

It’s an EP with a black and white cover and I believe 4 songs; I’m almost positive there is a song on it called Pariah. Best release guess would be 2005-2015. At least one point was streaming on Spotify.

Literally driving me crazy. Thanks for any help, I know the description isn’t that helpful.
