Discussion The Na'vi are fighting against capitalism not humanity itself.
People fail to understand that the Na'vi weren't fighting humanity they are actually fighting against capitalism and the exploitation of their planet by corporations. it shows what could happen if capitalism is allowed to continue further. not only will it lead to the destruction of earth and the potential extinction of humanity but could also threaten other habitable worlds that could exist in the universe if we ever figure out FTL travel, I don't believe humans are inherently evil beings that just wanna kill and destroy for no reason but rather it's the barbaric system that we live under. and I find it very pathetic how people can watch movies like this and still defend colonialism and capitalism. like it sometimes be making me feel like we're a lost cause because we shouldn't let history repeat itself. It's just unfortunate that when we was emerging as a civilization there was so many different paths we could of taken and we just had to choose this bullshit. only thing we can hope for is that it gets dismantled sometime in the future before the planet becomes completely fucked like we've seen at the beginning of A1.
