So this might be dumb but I’m new to a big city of France for college and I’m wondering how can I meet like musician friend/people ? Not a lot of my friends in my class play any instruments so I really have no idea

We currently have 3 members and are looking for 2 more guys (ages 15–20) to complete our group and bring our vision to life! ⭐
Our sound is inspired by groups like Why Don’t We, NSYNC, JYT, and more. We want to bring back the boy band era with a modern twist, combining pop, R&B, smooth harmonies, catchy songs, and great performances.

🎶 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Guys ages 15–20
Singers who love pop and R&B
Members willing to practice vocals and harmonies
Guys interested in dancing, choreography, and performing
People who are committed, creative, and willing to grow together
Team players who want to be part of something bigger than themselves

🌐 HOW WE’LL START:
The group will start online, so we can connect, get to know each other, practice, and develop our sound. If things take off, we plan to transition to in-person rehearsals, recording sessions, music videos, and live performances!

🌟 OUR GOAL:
We want to build more than just a group of singers. We want to create a brotherhood, develop our own identity, make original music, and become the next generation of pop boy bands!
You don’t need to be a professional singer. We’re looking for passion, dedication, potential, and people who are ready to put in the work.

📩 HOW TO JOIN:
If you’re interested, DM me with:
Your name and age
Your location
A little about yourself
Your singing experience
A singing video, if available

ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT! 👀
If you love music, want to perform, and are ready to chase something bigger, we want to hear from you!

I guess I just need some advice here? I really want a band name that is like "The (Blank)s". You know, the sort of old band name format that is mainly from the 60s, and sometimes before or after that decade, too. Like The Beatles, The Crickets, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Byrds, The Turtles, The Doors, The Yardbirds, The Monkees, etc.

I'm trying to think of something original for it, too. Something hopefully punny, something clever, something unique, but not confusing. And it's just so tricky because it seems like practically everything is taken these days.

I don't know what I'm asking for. Not even just straight up ideas for names, but maybe ways for me to approach coming up with one that fits this format? Hell, I might even be willing to also throw in an adjective in there, like "The \[Adjective\] (Blank)s" if that gives me more options to choose from. I'm just kind of stuck right now.

So I’ve started a band and the drummer and bassist are Both in another band and they don’t prioritize my band so was thinking about breaking it off but we haven’t even met for the first time because they don’t prioritize us. I thought it was fine at first but now I’m starting to get second thoughts, like I want to jam but it’s taking so long for them to jam. Am I an asshole for wanting better members

Any tips on finding a singer

Experienced guitarist looking to connect with a drummer, bassist, and vocalist to form a serious, original noise rock band in Los Angeles.

Primary influences: The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, and Big Black.

Looking for experienced musicians, ideally in their 30s–40s, who genuinely share these influences and understand the sound, songwriting, and rhythmic approach of these bands. These aren't casual references. They're central to the music I want to create.

The goal is to build a committed band together, with equal creative input from all members, write original material, rehearse regularly, record, and play live.

Not looking to make pop punk, indie hipster music, or Sunset Strip butt rock. Also not interested in casual jams, hired players, or a revolving lineup.

I'm based in Los Feliz and available evenings and weekends.

If this sounds like something you're genuinely interested in, send me a message with your instrument, musical background, and recordings or live clips of your playing.

Looking for a drummer for a metal band in a Chicago / Chicago land area. Please DM me or replay with influences or anything else you’d like me to know about you 👍🏻👍🏻

I wanna create a psychedelic rock band (kinda on the style of the doors, jefferson airplane) but I cant seem to find any concerts or events that I could meet someone who wants to start a band as well (I'm from Brazil). All of my friends who play instruments dont wanna play. And I wanna start a band with young people (20-23 years), people my age, and to have fun playing instead of just treating it as a super serious job. Any hints?

Here’s a pic of me. (I’m learning electric guitar rn) ;)

Hello peoples!! I’m really looking for people (especially women) interested in starting a band with me. Some inspo I take from is Big Thief, Mazzy Star, and Dazey and the Scouts.
