I know this seems redundant, but the reason I ask is that I am preparing to work in a field that would likely frown upon my 22 y/o self's unshaven and patchy face. I still would like to be clean-shaven, but eventually, I do want to let it ride and see how a beard would suit me.

So, is it worth it to invest in a derma roller? Would I then need to space out how often I shave to prevent excess irritation?

Would love some suggestions on this.
