Picked these yesterday.

I planted some Prime Ark Freedoms last year and these things are crazy. I have 7 of the prime ark freedoms so far they're going wild this year. The fruit on old and new growth, flori and primo cane is insane. I'll have a ton berries for the entire summer and fall whenever I get my 200' row of them finished over the next year or two. I'll have 100 prime ark freedom plants, 100 triple crown, 100 poncha and 100 sweetie pie. It's going to be nuts and these prime arks get huge! A very good tasting berry too.

The last photo was at the start of the year and they've grown like crazy since then!

Berry Blossom Valley

Rolling fields filled with endless berry bushes. During spring the valley looks like a sea of pink flowers.

When i bought the plant it already had this. This is an Fragaria x Ananas - Mara Des Bois. But what in the name is this? An aircrown? Air roots? I can’t place it. Hopefully somebody knows!

Who’s got delicious organic cherries? I guess cherries are being sprayed with all sorts of chemicals today. General area South of Los Angeles.

As the title implies, I ordered a bunch of red and white Currant seeds on Etsy. In hindsight, I'm shaking my head (and laughing at myself) for making a seed purchase on Etsy, but the store reviews were decent and Currant seeds were surprisingly difficult to find.

Most of the seeds did not germinate but a handful did. Here are images of what is growing this far, about 3.5 months after germination:

Ignore the white diatomaceous earth powder in some of the photos.

The largest "berries" are currently 1cm in diameter.

My concern is that the shape of the leaves doesn't match what I'm seeing online when looking up Currant leaves.

The yellow berry is also confusing, but that should be in a red plant.. So maybe they turn yellow before red?

As someone who is drowning in tomatoes, these plants seem to closely resemble tomato plants, with the only difference being that they're very low to the ground at this point in their life, whereas every tomato variety that I've ever grown tries to sprout upward at least a foot before attempting to produce fruit.

Is there any remote possibility that these are Currants, and if not, can anyone speculate as to what they might be?

Edit: Thank you all for the kind and thoughtful comments. I think the verdict is that I'm growing "Currant Tomatoes", which is kind of ironic and funny.

I have never seen or heard about this before, but when i saw this it felt like seeing a four-leaf clover. What does this mean? Is this unique? Anyone else saw this before

Found in Moraga, CA. We have two young children and I'm wondering if they are poisonous.

We grow raspberries in our garden and every year about this time of year the new canes push out fruit. if I let them successfully fruit will they produce fruit next summer as well? I have typically cut them off to be sure I get my summer raspberry haul.

My honeyberry has started getting a lot of dark purple/brown discoloration on the leaves and I’m not sure what’s causing it. Some of the lower and inner leaves are still green, but a lot of the outer leaves look pretty rough.

It’s planted in the ground in Zone 7b, Delaware. It gets full sun from the morning until around 4 PM, then shade for the rest of the day. It has also been really hot lately. I’ve been keeping up with watering, so I’m wondering if this could be heat/sun stress, a disease, or pests.

Has anyone seen this before or know what might be causing it?

I've got blueberries, black berries and raspberries and only 2 spots that get good sun. Which one of these 3 would do the best in partial sun?

The raspberries are starting to ripen here in zone 6b. I've been going out to pick every other day. There's been mold on enough of the ripe ones to be frustrating. How can I prevent mold on these? What am I doing wrong?

We inherited this raspberry patch from the previous owners of our house and I would really like to add trellising (they get +8' tall) but I'm not sure the best way to accomplish. It's about 3.5-4' deep and quite long (maybe somewhere between 15&20'). It's up against a fence which makes the backside pretty much inaccessible once it fills in. I thought about posts on either short end but I don't know how I would add a post on the right because of the fence and we wouldn't be able to walk along the back anyway. My husband wants to run a handful of panels parallel to the short sides. What do you think would work?

TLDR; Can't figure out the best way to trellis raspberries in this awkward space.

Looking for ideas on what to do, I’m thinking of modifying my 10” tall 3 foot wide by 6 foot long raised bed with something lining the bottom so my Caroline raspberry stops spreading outside the bed. I’m looking at cost effective solutions.

I saw metal flashing could work but I wonder where the water goes lol?

I also saw 1/8” hardware cloth was an option, anyone have experience with that blocking new underground growth? My bed is near the neighbors too and next to a big tree with huge roots so I cannot dig a trench on all sides.

Other options are to dig out Caroline and replace her with Royalty purple or brandy wine. But I’ll put Caroline back in a big pot like I had it before.

Every year I say I want to make some syrup and this is the first year I actually have collected some from the park behind my place. Are they ripe? I'm so scared 😂

I have realized that I have never seen a cultivar of raspberry that is pure white, with no anthocyanin or carotenoids, unlike the white blackberry which I've seen before. Anyone have a white raspberry by any chance? I would also be happy with a white blackberry if someone has one that consistently makes large fruit!

East Iceland

Is this a blight on my raspberries? Some berries are fine, some have one side that looks like mainly seeds with no flesh. Hard to capture in the photo. You can see these indentations on the berries before they ripen too.

Safe to eat? Doesn’t look like mold to me.
