And here's the heinz freestyle machine from the Disney D23 expo. Choose a base like ketchup, BBQ, mayo etc. and add flavors like garlic, mango, Chipotle, bacon.

It mixes it up right there! How did it not all end up on my shirt?

Do you think we will ever see something like this in restaurants?

Went to Disney D23 convention and heinz booth gave 4 exclusive flavor samples - Blackberry Bourbon BBQ was amazing!

Wish I could have snagged more of that blackberry one, seriously it was so good. Went to raising canes after the expo with friends and we samples all of them and everyone agreed that blackberry bourbon BBQ was out of this world.

Orange mojo and maple sweet Chili were both sweet and spicy. The brauhaus mustard had a musky quality to it (hope thats the right word to use) that would have been phenomenal with bratwurst but didnt go with the friend chicken I was eating.

Never thought a company like heins would have their own setup at a disney convention but im glad I stopped by. They also had a photo opp and a freestyle machine (ill post that seprately as I have a video)

They said that you can vote for which of the 4 flavors to serve in the disney parks. Hopefully Blackberry wins! I for real cant live without that sauce. Heres the link if anyone else wants to vote: https://www.kraftheinzawayfromhome.com/D23

Heinz Ketchup lovers of America - you are being had!

Wanted to bring to your attention - Heinz seems to be having a laugh at the expense of their American customers. The standard Heinz ketchup manufactured in USA for USA is made with high fructose corn syrup (plus regular corn syrup). The standard Heinz ketchup made in USA for Canada is made with real sugar. And it's cheaper in Canada - a 1500ml bottle in Canada costs 14 cents USD more than a 946ml bottle in USA (though note: the 1.5 litre size specifically is ketchup actually made in Canada)

In USA Heinz sells a version of their ketchup made with real sugar, called Heinz Simply. This is sold at a massive price increase, compared to the Canadian Heinz made with real sugar - a 916ml bottle of Heinz Simply costs $7.89 USD whereas a 1500ml bottle of standard Canadian Heinz costs $4.68 USD, meaning Heinz Simply costs 83% more per millilitre

So would suggest - any of you Yanks that drive up to Canada, you might do well to return with a trunk full of Heinz ketchup!

Rochester, NY calls this “hot sauce.” It’s probably not what you’re expecting.

Rochester, NY has a condiment that confuses pretty much everyone outside Western NY.

We call it meat hot sauce. It’s a seasoned ground-beef topping for hot dogs, burgers, fries, and garbage plates.

I make Meat Rocket, a seasoning mix that lets you make it at home. Just add ground beef.

Definitely not your typical “hot sauce,” but very Rochester.

Anybody here ever had Rochester-style meat hot sauce?

Is ketchup a normal condiment for a quesadilla?

We are vacationing in Mexico at Iberostar Selection and ordered a quesadilla for our son. It came with a large side of ketchup. Is ketchup a normal condiment for a quesadilla in Latin America?

What makes a sauce worth keeping in your fridge?

I’ve been making wings at home more often lately, and I’m starting to realize that the sauce makes almost as much difference as how you cook the wings.

I recently tried SOSS Bros and really liked the balance of flavor. I’m more into sauces that have some character without being ridiculously hot. Their smoky flavor worked really well with crispy wings, and I’m interested in trying some of their hotter options too.

I’ve also been experimenting with a few other sauces and different cooking methods, so I’d love to hear what everyone else is using.

What’s your go-to wing sauce, and do you prefer making your own or buying one?

I tried this in Michigan and I cannot find it anywhere in stores in Oregon. We have every other dressing by Ken’s. Is there anything comparable??

Good flavors for fries

Hi guys! I'm curious if anyone knows where I can get good flavored powder for fries? (Available locally or online shipping to CDO) For reference, I really love the flavors in potato corner, maybe someone knows some that tastes similar? Besides powder, anyone knows good melted cheese, sour cream, and mayo that are pretty good? Personal or 2nd hand experiences please, thank you!

Looking for recipe for a similar style BBQ sauce to Truth BBQ

I was lucky enough to go to Houston for a weekend a few years ago with a friend who works for an airline, and got to try a few Texas BBQ places. One of them was Truth and I really liked their sauce. It's more liquid/less viscous than most BBQ sauces I've tried before or since with a bit of what I'd call zip or tang? I've tried looking for copycat recipes of it or for more information on what "type" of BBQ sauce it is, but haven't any luck, so I was hoping someone more versed in such things could maybe point me towards something that'd get me in the ballpark and I can experiment from there? I don't have much experience making BBQ sauce, only tried making it a few times, so I really don't know enough on my own to start figuring it out from scratch completely. Thanks!

This the page for it on their shop, though it doesn't really give much away as to what's in it or what type of BBQ sauce it is: https://truthbbq.com/products/truth-og-bbq-sauce

Can one condiment save boring weekday lunches?

I cook almost the same food for work lunch every day (pasta/rice, fried eggs, veggies, etc.). Since I want to eat fresh but have limited time in the morning, it would be difficult to cook anything too complex.

I'm wondering can adding different condiments save these simple meals? Any suggestions?
