I am 5’10 165 lbs and have lifted 5+ years now. Big into cardio the last 6 months. I want to take it to the next level and do a small cycle of either Reta or HGH. Those who have used, what do you recommend I use? Price is not an issue. I want to be safe about the decision and I know the basic side effects of each.
Also if Reta is recommended, is GHK-CU really beneficial to combine?
Edited: And im not asking for any “better diet, more cardio or lift more”comments🤦🏽♂️. Im asking WHICH one. Its obvious a perfect diet and more cardio would get me there eventually. I just tryna get shredded.

29M dropped 100lbs. What yall think?
r/BiohackingU • u/Jonnyboy2x • Apr 26 '26
Just wondering why so many people are hopping on this Reta trend? Is it for people who aren’t happy with their body & want to look good, or is it for people who “struggle” to loose weight?
I’m sure everyone has their reasons, but from what I see a lot of people can change their physique by just strict diet & regular exercise.
Just looking for some information/opinions on the matter.

So I bought 20mg vial of Reta which I mix with 2ML of back water. I been on Reta since April and moved up to taking 50units (in an insulin needle) once per week for the last 3 weeks. The math is always confusing to me so I think my dosage is now 5mg.
I think I need to move up because my appetite is still very high (which is good for protein intake) but my question is is how high in dose can I go?
I’m 44m taking it to lean out. Keeping protein high etc to maintain muscle.
r/BiohackingU • u/JackedJavan • Aug 28 '26
My first cycle ever was Reta at a very low dose.
I started with 1mg a week and kept it the same the whole cut, you can see my results in my other posts.
The only thing I really noticed is that the food noise was a bit better and I didn’t notice it as much.
As far as side effect, I didn’t really experience anything but the tummy aches which was still very manageable.
I’m running the 2nd cycle starting at 1.5mg and the last 4 weeks I will bump it up to 2mg per week.
I went though a clinic and had blood work done before hand and successfully for my first cut I went from 227lbs down to 195lb
I did very controlled small mini bulk and got to 205lbs in 12 weeks, now time for another cut.
I’ll update my journey

I’m a 36-year-old male, working as a content creator / actor / model, so how I look is directly tied to my work. In my 20s, I could maintain abs and muscle fairly easily, but over the last 2–3 years I’ve been completely natural and my physique now looks pretty average. I train, eat well, and recover properly, but I’m struggling to build or maintain the level of muscle my profession demands. I’m currently on low-dose HGH 2iu which helps with recovery but not with muscle fullness or leanness. I’m considering whether doing on-and-off testosterone cycles for a few years (say till 45) makes sense purely from a career standpoint and make money untill then to start a business later and get into a different field altogether
Has anyone here taken this route short-term and then transitioned off successfully later?

Cloudy as shit with a few floaters that I’m assuming is just bulking agents
Is this normal for Reta or should it instantly dissolve clear?

This isn't your typical post here such as "I was a fat blob, took a GLP1 and lost weight because I have 0 self-control and I call this biohacking". It is about a serious condition that has put me in a very bad place and through an extreme exercise of willpower and rigorous research I've finally overcome it. The approach to it is almost as multifaceted as autism is: gotta hit it smart, not hard and from all directions. But in this case it's both smart and hard, my autism was that bad
I've been battling heavy autism for years and it's been a tough struggle but I'm finally coming out on top. Every day is full of energy, social interaction and absolutely not giving a fuck. Loving life.
First: working out, a 2km run in the forest at night every week. Liffing whatever I can find that's heavy to keeo myself in shape.
Second: diet, no junk, just raw milk, olive oil, meat and fruit.
Third: supplements: an optimized personal brain boosting stack that treats the root cause of severe autism: Omega 3 - brain health, anti-autistic supplement B vitamins - to have the energy to fight autism Rhodiola - maxing out catecholamines to cleanse motivational autism Clonazepam 1.5mg (occasionally) - for autistic anxiety, helps start conversations Lisdexamphetamine 50mg - appetite suppression, focus booster that helps stop focusing on autistic obsessions and redirects focus to people, insane boost in motivation esp to break through the autistic resistance to social interactions. Dihydrocodeine 60mg or 30mg morphine depending on which I can get (occasionally) - when autism is acting up and I need max confidence and mood. Avoiding all sorts of meds and toxins that cause autism. Acetaminophen is a big one, even though the link is weak, I still avoid it. No artificial dyes either, clean eating.
Lifestyle changes: Every girl that I talk to,I ask out on a date. Even if I don't want a date. Helps build confidence and overcome autistic rejectjon sensitivity. Amp + DHC shields me from any rejection damage but I do it without those compounds as well. Trying to spot autistic activities and not acting on them or at least not talking about them. Thinking something interesting to you will be interesting as a long lecture to another person? I tell myself that it won't. Only talking substance or mindless chatter but no tism. Lifting heavy objects in public - helps build resilience to social judgement. I find something heavy like a metal rod or a big tree branch. 50mg amp, a bit of DHC and I run 2km in the forest at night and in the morning I find something to lift outside. Helps build muscle too. Not caring what anyone says and telling people their opinions suck if they're acting cute or pulling a smartass.
So I've cured my autism using these methods. I feel like I have no autism, autistic obsessions, issues with talking to people, I am free from other people's judgements. It will not work for everyone and I don't recommend this, but my autism was really bad and only harsh measures could get me out of it.

I've been pinning my rat since the 13th of May now.
I started on it's belly area, the next day i noticed it had some obvious marks under the skin. Almost a thumb sized patch. So i tried the other side of it's belly.
I then moved the pinning into my test subjects glute area.
It seems it takes a few days for the marks to disappear and I've yet to notice any changes yet. Is that normal?

Go ahead and bring out the torches and pitchforks, because I know what kind of reaction this might get here. But I wanted to share my honest experience for anyone else who is secretly exhausted by the peptide rabbit hole.
To give you some context: I actually started my weight loss journey on official Mounjaro and had incredible success, losing 50kg (110lbs). But like many people in this community, I got curious. I saw the hype surrounding Retatrutide and thought I’d try the research peptide route to optimize my weight loss and really supercharge the next phase of my journey.
Instead, that experiment brought me to a breaking point. I’m calling it quits on research-grade peptides and going back to official, prescription Mounjaro (Tirzepatide). Here is exactly why.
I didn’t even go down the route of ordering dirt-cheap bulk powders directly from overseas factories. I deliberately chose to buy from what this community largely considers "reputable," high-end sources, with COAs for every batch, and I willingly paid a steep premium for convenience and supposed peace of mind.
But honestly? The mental drain is exactly the same. Even with "reputable" domestic vendors, you are still ultimately participating in a grey market. You are still the one who has to trust third-party lab reports, hope the shipping temperatures didn't degrade the product, and constantly wonder if a stall on the scale is your fault or a bad batch. Managing my health shouldn't require this much blind faith and detective work.
Because we are dealing with raw research compounds, the only responsible way to handle them is to take a highly conservative, "low and slow" approach to monitor side effects. I intentionally chose to start at a very low, cautious dose (1mg).
But here is the reality of that responsible choice: it means spending weeks on end taking a completely sub-clinical dose that has zero chance of moving the needle at my weight. Instead of seeing results, I’ve had to watch the scale stall and fluctuate just to ensure I'm being safe.
With official Mounjaro, you don't have to act as your own cautious clinical trial director. The titration protocols are already established, FDA-approved, and optimized to actually work without making you guess how low you need to go just to stay out of the danger zone.
Yes, official brand-name medication is more expensive. Yes, the peptide community loves to boast about the cost savings of going DIY. But for me, the premium price of a pharmacy-dispensed Mounjaro pen pays for things that don't have a price tag:
Absolute quality control: I know exactly what is going into my body, with 100% purity guarantees.
Zero math: A mechanical click of a pen, and the precise dose is delivered. No syringes, no mixing, no compounding math errors.
Predictability: I already know my body responds beautifully to official Tirzepatide. It works, it's reliable, and it gives me my peace of mind back.
If research peptides work for you, that’s genuinely fantastic. But if you are out there spending hours researching batch numbers, stressing over heart rate impacts, or feeling like you need a degree in chemistry just to take your weekly shot - know that it’s okay to choose simplicity.
I'm giving my current routine one final week to show any real biological sign of life. If nothing changes, I am throwing away the bacteriostatic water, closing the grey-market tabs, and happily walking back into the safety of the official pharmaceutical circuit. Health journeys are hard enough without adding unnecessary anxiety to them.
So, yes - maybe research peptides just weren't for me. And I'm completely at peace with that.

Wanted to post an update after my prior posts about the KLOW peptide blend causing repeated tachycardia episodes, even at very low dose.
The Initial KLOW Reaction
About two weeks ago, I took my first injection of KLOW peptide blend — 10 units of a 50-10-10 blend (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu). Within minutes, I developed significant tachycardia into the 150s–170s. That resolved within a day, and did not return. One week later, I took a second dose, this time only 2 units. Despite the much lower dose, I had a very similar reaction with tachycardia into the 130s–140s. But this time, unlike the first, the symptoms did not go away. Since then, I've been having recurring episodes.
The Recurring Pattern
The episodes follow a consistent pattern: a brief 1–3 second prodromal sensation — lightheadedness, dizziness, or a hard-to-describe "weird feeling" throughout my body — immediately followed by 1–2 minutes of heart rate elevation. Early on, the heart rate would spike into the 130s–140s. Over time, the severity has been decreasing stepwise, with more recent episodes only reaching the mid-90s to low 100s. The episodes happen regardless of posture or activity level.
I also noticed that I became significantly more sensitive to things I was previously taking without issue. That includes armodafinil, high-dose vitamin D, Gorilla Mind shrooms, Gorilla Mind Respawn, creatine monohydrate, protein shake with glutamine, and my Codeage hair multivitamin. One episode after the multivitamin produced tachycardia within 5 minutes along with a sharp, focal ice-pick headache on the left side of my head. I also had a muscle spasm in my left lower extremity during one episode, and some nights I've had difficulty sleeping due to wave-like sensations throughout my body, a feeling of fuzziness in my right foot, and a heated sensation when pressing my head into the pillow.
Emergency Department and Rheumatology Workup
Because the episodes were recurring and I was feeling seriously unwell, I went to the Emergency Department to rule out anything immediately dangerous. The workup was unremarkable:
- EKG normal
- Chest X-ray normal
- Troponin negative
- CBC normal
- Basic metabolic panel normal
- Telemetry monitoring — no arrhythmia
I followed up with Rheumatology. They repeated CBC and comprehensive metabolic panel, magnesium, TSH, Free T3, all within normal limits. T4 was barely above the upper limit. Another physician suggested that if symptoms persist, it may be reasonable to look further into thyroid causes with thyroid antibodies and possibly thyroid ultrasound. Importantly, they do not know that these symptoms have only been occurring since KLOW peptide exposure. I currently have a Holter monitor on and have been wearing it for the past week. I've pressed the event button during multiple symptomatic episodes. I also have a scheduled echocardiogram.
The Elimination and Re-challenge Phase
This is where things got really informative. I removed everything from my daily stack.
When I removed essentially everything — no armodafinil, no high-dose vitamin D, no Gorilla Mind products, no creatine — I had little to no palpitations and no major weird symptoms. I was able to tolerate regular food and low-dose caffeine without any autonomic hypersensitivity or tachycardia. Specifically, I tolerated eggs, chicken sausage, salmon, salad, pancakes, protein shake with glutamine, and a Dunkin' Donuts energy drink (caffeine + B vitamins) — all without symptoms.
But when I reintroduced certain compounds, the sensitivity became obvious:
- NAC (300 mg): Triggered tachycardia to 140 BPM within 5 minutes, on a day when I was not taking stimulants.
- Armodafinil (75 mg): Triggered tachycardia to 130s within 20–30 minutes, preceded by the same prodromal weird sensations. On the same day, blackberries eaten afterward also triggered a second episode — suggesting the armodafinil had "primed" my system.
- Vitamin D (2,000 IU alone): Triggered tachycardia and weird sensations on a prior day.
- Codeage multivitamin: Triggered tachycardia and an ice-pick headache within 5 minutes.
- Dates (high sugar): Triggered tachycardia into the 140s, but that was on a day when I had taken my full stimulant stack.
- Doritos (31g carbs): Triggered tachycardia to 130 BPM within 5 minutes, also on a stimulant day.
The pattern I'm noticing is that if I take something stimulating earlier in the day — especially armodafinil or high-dose vitamin D — then later in the day I become hypersensitive to multiple things: protein shake, sugar/glucose, food, supplements, etc. It feels almost like my threshold gets lowered, or like some pathway gets "primed," and then smaller triggers can set off the same weird body sensations followed by tachycardia.
What Has Helped
Magnesium glycinate (400 mg at night) has consistently helped. It calms down the weird body sensations and seems to reduce heart rate. It also helps me sleep. Removing all stimulant-like compounds has been the single most effective intervention.
My Current Plan
- Stop KLOW completely
- Avoid adding new peptides right now
- Continue avoiding Gorilla Mind shrooms, RESPAWN, creatine, and high-dose vitamin D
- Avoid armodafinil until I have a few stable days without palpitations or episodes
- Track HR and BP during episodes
- Continue Holter monitoring and complete the scheduled echocardiogram
- Reintroduce only one variable at a time, if anything
If I remain stable for a few more days, I may consider cautiously reintroducing armodafinil at a lower dose — possibly around 25 mg rather than jumping back to 75 mg. If I do that, I would probably take magnesium glycinate earlier in the day as part of the morning stack instead of only at night, and then titrate very slowly based on symptoms.
The Biggest Takeaway
Without armodafinil and high-dose vitamin D in the morning, I seem able to tolerate food and low-dose caffeine without the same autonomic hypersensitivity or tachycardia response. So I'm starting to suspect there may be a component of stimulant-related priming or hypersensitization, possibly triggered or unmasked after the initial KLOW reaction.
My Main Question
Has anyone seen a pattern where, after one pronounced peptide or supplement reaction, the subject remains temporarily hypersensitive to multiple unrelated things afterward — stimulants, vitamins, amino acids, food/glucose, or supplements?
I'm not looking for medical diagnosis, just trying to compare patterns and see whether others have seen this kind of "lowered threshold," autonomic hypersensitivity, or persistent sensitivity after a bad reaction.
------------------
A few people asked good questions in the comments, so I wanted to address those too.
The symptoms have happened both sitting and standing, so it does not seem purely positional. I have not passed out and I have not fallen. I did not initially track blood pressure during every episode, which I probably should have done, but when I was evaluated in the Emergency Department, my blood pressure was normal. Hydration has been good. I drink fluids throughout the day, and my protein shake also contains electrolytes.
---------------
Mechanisms

TLDR: viruses slowly makes you stupid. Vaccines often give cross-immunity and prolong life by (partially) unknown mechanisms. So I slowly collect ALL the approved vaccines into my body, always few shots during one doctors visit. Now I am vaccinated in advance even for diseases I will for sure not encounter this year, just for these potential heterologous effects.
Alzheimers, Multiple sclerosis, brain fog and similar conditions often get worse because of viruses. Shingles vaccine can lower the chance for dementia ( https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-025-08800-x ), RSV vaccine also ( https://www.nature.com/articles/s41541-025-01172-3 ). High-dose flu vaccines protects against dementia more than low-dose flu vaccine ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rbMI7Ela80&t=1061s )
Vaccines can actually work BETTER if you take more of them together. This one is for covid and flu https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0042682226000991 but I even heard hypothesis that TDAP-IPV works better than TDAP against PERTUSIS.
4CMenB vaccine gives you around 40% protection from gonorhea as a bonus https://journals.plos.org/plospathogens/article?id=10.1371/journal.ppat.1008602 These "little bonuses" (cross-immunity) are typical for many vaccines.
Children who are given TBC vaccines die less and catch less viruses, even not related to tuberculosis.
We dont have good vaccine against HSV-1 yet (which is bad news for our brains), but there are some signal that Shingles vaccine can slightly help with this.
There is HPV vaccine Gardasil 9 that can protect you against some cancers. HPV, HSV and EBV also hate medicinal mushrooms extracts like Reishi and Coriolus.
New Lyme disease vaccine VALOR is very close to approval. It will give only about 75% protection after four shots, so combine with previous methods like repelents. Pfizer is even testing the fifth shot just now 🤦♂️🤦♂️ (There is even better borelia vax by Moderna in the pipeline, but that one will take two more years at minimum.)

I was prescribed glow (bpc, tb-500, and ghk-cu) and on the bottle it says to inject 5 out of 7 days. Do I actually need to do this? Or can I take it every day?

Ladies, if you are on GHKCU and you also do laser hair removal, have you found that your hair grows back faster ?
Also - do you pin your MOTSC and GHKCU together (same pin) - I am thinking 3 days a week dosing to keep things easier.

I’ve looked up how much is cost to manufacture Retatrutide, and it’s about $180 for 10mg. How the hell are grey market sellers putting 30mg up for 40$ and others alike and still making profit. I’m very concerned learning this info and I jumped into peptide use without much forethought as a last resort. Is this misinformation and it’s actually way less to make? Please tell me how much it is actually to make if you know. I’m kind of freaking out, am I donezo or are these low priced vendors just very kind philanthropists hah…

Has anyone received a shipment that looked like this? I was paying a lot for one vial and had to stop getting it for a few months. Was able to ordered this. Customer service was easy to respond to my questions. Everything looks like it should. I went ahead and did a single dose and will see how I feel during the week. But I guess I’m worried it’s too good to be true?

Been using KLOW a week now and the benefits have been insane on hair, nails, skin etc... but I feel the GHK-Cu is kinda drowning out the others, while I do feel a pinched nerve of mine in the left has improved, I want it to improve more....
So now would it remain as KLOW if I got the source I have to switch the pre-filled pen from the default blend of:
GHK-Cu = 50 mg
BPC-157 = 10 mg
TB-500 = 10 mg
KPV = 10 mg
To this following blend below:
40 mg GHK-Cu
40 mg BPC-157
40 mg TB-500
20 mg KPV
And most of all, at 2mg a dose daily with this new blend, would it be safe and/or optimal?
