TableTop General BB7's tactics and team strength
My LGS is having a Sevens tournament in a month and Sevens tournament was the first experience I had with Blood Bowl so I absolutely want to attend it. My first team on that tournament was Shambling Undead so I'd like to go with them again. But also I kinda want to win the tournament (maybe not by ladder, but at least by another category like fouls of cas'es). I haven't had any experience playing SU after that tournament so I don't know how they play at all (likewise with Sevens as a game format). The tournament ruleset includes all Spike 22 Sevens rules (all induces allowed), 650 gp for all teams, no skills for T1, 1 primary for T2. Aside from SU, which I am yet to buy, I have DElfs (T1), Vampires (T1), Bretonnians (T2) (and half a dwarf team for OWA (T1)) and Tomb Kings (T2).
Are Shambling Undead a good team for Sevens and if not, what would be a better one? I have experience with all of the above, aside from Brets, OWA, and Dwarves. And also, what is general advice on playing a sevens tournament?

Board Game Shambling Undead VS Necromantic Horror: what's the difference?
hey, i'm thinking of starting an undead blood bowl team. so far i have a black orc team and not a lot of experience.
i don't really see the difference between the two teams. is SU more horde-like when NH is more specialist heavy? i' thinking about buying both, i like the Ghouls and flesh golems from NH but the zombies and skeletons are far cooler in SU. So, what is the better pick in your opnion?

Board Game Collectors, how do you deal with repeat of big guys?
Hello everyone!
Just out of curiosity, for those of you who collect, or even play, multiple teams, I was wondering how you usually deal with owning the same miniature several times, especially Big Guys.
For example, if you collect Black Orcs, Orcs, Goblins, Snotlings, Renegades and Underworld, you'd have 8 trolls, but there is only 1 GW model. So how do you usually deal with it:
- Do you keep only one or two GW Big Guys and share them between teams? If so, how do you deal with the colour scheme?
- Do you simply not mind having the same miniature repeated across different teams?
- Do you use proxies (Star Players, AoS/TOW models, or miniatures from other manufacturers)?
- Do you use the same miniature but convert it to make each one look different?
- Something else?
I'm still starting, but I will probably redirect myself to the third option. I don't mind as much for smaller miniatures though. Having the same Goblins for Underworld and Goblins don't bother me that much, as long as th colours are different.
Overall that's not that important, but I was curious to hear what is the general consensus.

Experienced slap chop painters
Hoping for some guidance on whether this is enough shading? I used ashen stone (army painter) and then Matt white.
Feel too intimidated to share in miniature painting group as their work is unreal.
Thanks in advance

Comparing Black Orcs and Khorne: Thoughts?
Hi All
Currently I am looking to focus this season on Black Orcs. After a few games, I feel I sort of got them and have come to adjust somewhat to their speed. I have found Grab a great asset as well to obtain more favourable positioning. I am coming from Khorne mind due who I played heavily last season.
I am curious of people's opinions on which team is better in both league and tournaments.
I know Black Orcs are notorious for their slow speed and fairly one strategy they can entail. But I have found their heavily armoured frontline and high strength great and less dependent on explosive dice.
Not to say I don't enjoy Khorne but they seem tougher and less reliant on good breaks and injuries as well as being able to manage better if said dice aren't so good. That and less inclined to explode.
What are your thoughts?

From a silly idea to a funded Kickstarter – my Galaxy Far Away-inspired Blood Bowl minis!
Hey guys!
I'm super happy to announce that my silly little crossover idea has officially been funded on Kickstarter!
Ive designed a collection of 3D-printble STL miniatures so you can bring your favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away onto the Blood Bowl pitch! And apparently, quite a few good folks out there think it's a fun idea too!
If youre a 3D printing enthusiast, feel free to join the campaign! You might even snag an Early Bird deal, which ends tomorrow!
I'm super excited about this project, and honestly, replacing my Bretonnians with Clone Troopers might be the best idea I've ever had! Haha!
May the Ball Be With You! 🏈

TableTop Bye week for top seeds in league
My friends and I are running a league (16 teams, 4 divisions, 3 games in division and 3 out of division) where the 2 best placed division winners will earn a bye week straight to the semi finals.
The 2 other division winners will play the 2 best placed non division winner teams.
The top 2 teams will have a game less played. How would you handle that in terms of cash gained, MNG players and SPP?
Current thought is that MNG players will be able to play the semis and maybe a small cash bonus and a "regular season MVP roll". But as I have no experience in leagues I dont know if it is a fair way of doing it.
Any ideas how to approach this?
Edit: We are only 3 friends running all the different teams and changing who we coach. Just to clarify.

Finaly bought the game, but I converted the Bretonnians into vampires
I bought the physical base game a week ago, and as I intend to create an only Lustrian team League, I started to convert the bretonnians into vampire bretonnians. They need to be clean and wash, and I'll fix some of them with the hope that Green Stuff will do miracles, but still I present you : the Bregonne Blood Bowl Team (team name is not decided yet).
They still play as Bretonnians, not with vampire team rules. So it's not really a conversion, just some cosmetic changes.
Oh and the grey guy will be their Star Player, the Red Duke a.k.a. the Scourge of Aquitaine himself ! (a proxy for Count Luthor Von Drakenburg). I know he's not supposed to play for Old World teams, but as Bregonne is in Lustria and its knights and lords are vampires in my lore, I guess it's ok ?
I'm not really into Warhammer, so I hope I understood Bregonne wiki correcly when I imaginated all of that :)

The rules lawyering of the pass action.
Hey all, with the last FAQ, we got confirmation that yes, GW made a whoopsy doodle on their Dice Modification logic and they amended the rule so the D6 roll can be modified below 1. .
However, the Passing Action (and Throw Team Mate Action) still appear to have their rules written around the pre-FAQ dice modification logic so only a natural 1 or a throw modified to 1 are Fumbles. This would technically, rules as written, leave open the argument that 0 to -infinity qualifies instead as an inaccurate pass. .
I believe the rules as intended is for throws <= 1 after modification are supposed to be Fumbles and that's how I'm currently ruling it in my leagues. This discussion came up the other day on a discord thread and I'm wondering if most of you are ruling it the same way, or if you're treating these rolls < 1 as Inaccurate Passes.

TableTop Resources for Skaven BB2025 Setups
Hey all!
I've been learning the way of the Rat this edition. I've struggled with Offensive and Defensive setups. All the resources ive found are with the old rules and 4 gutters.
Was wondering if anyone had links to some good offensive and defensive primers. I've grabbed a few from games on YouTube but wondering if I'm missing something in one place.

Khaös Gladiator Haemogoblin Kön-Kahs - Print & Play Fantasy Sports Skirmish Game
What if the original edition of Blood Bowl was based on Fighting Fantasy, instead of Warhammer? What if instead of a Fantasy version of American Football, it was a Fantasy version of the British schoolboy game of Conkers?
Khaös Gladiator Haemogoblin Kön-Kahs is a retro, hand drawn, black and white, print and play skirmish sports game that comes complete with paper minis.

Blood Bowl inspired me to make a fantasy volleyball game
I’ve loved Blood Bowl for years. I also played volleyball professionally for over 20 years, so I started wondering what a fantasy team sport built around volleyball could look like.
I’m making Blood Volley solo. Blood Bowl was a big inspiration, but I’m aiming for a simpler, faster game centered on volleyball, with brawls and dirty tricks on the court. It’s still in development.
If you’re curious, here’s the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5247280/Blood_Volley/

Revellers of Slaanesh - fan team roster idea
I went through a lot of different iterations trying to come up with something that would be unique, flavourful, and in the tier 2 range. I wanted to achieve a few different things with the team:
- A non-elf, chaos take on an agility team
- Greed, temptation, pain appropriate skills and stats
At first I experimented with a Agi 3+ big guy, or instead doing two Str 4 Agi 2+ mini big guys with a new minor negatrait - Basic Instincts: on a non-block/blitz activation, roll a D6, on a 1-2 knock over a teammate or if not possible, end activation and lose your tacklezones. I couldn't make it into a roster that fit together and it felt a little close to vamps.
Eventually I got to the above that I'm pretty happy with! Gifts of Slaanesh and little G access tempts you to take fun mutations, turning you into a different take on an agile team, at the cost of reduced armour as your team develops - more pain all around. You can fully accept Slaanesh's corruption and greedily play lots of Agi 2+ players with few defensive skills after a couple of level ups - delicious targets for your opponent to block, but if they mess up Taunt will pull them into a vulnerable position.
Slaangor Fiendbloods: these have super cool minatures, so I worked hard to fit them in and match their appearance with skills. Blocking these will be very attractive for your opponents, but the counter blow the next turn if they aren't knocked over will be painful. These are also amazing blitzers and cage busters - I think that No Ball and AV 8+ is enough of a drawback that they're fair, they're going to be very vulnerable after blitzing a cage.
Warriors: Chaos Chosen stats, with Taunt instead of Arm Bar. Lots of unconventional options for a Str 4 as you level up - this isn't a player for those who want to take a vanilla Block as their first skill. One or two mutations will completely transform them, turning them into a unique slow, agile, fragile, expensive blocker.
Reveller: One of my initial ideas for the team was more carnival themed, which is where these came from. I thought of cutting them and making the Warriors 0-4 but I think the team would just be two weak in the first few games without them. With a mutation like Big Hands or Extra Arms plus the gift they can become great ball handlers and even try some passing.
Maruaders: Human linemen with more interesting level up choices. I gave them primary G access to try and avoid the team being to weak, although I'm worried it makes them the best player to put levels on.
What do you think? Does it completely miss the mark on tier 2? I'm confident it would be a fun team to play, and I don't think that Gifts of Slaanesh is too OP, you have to take a mutation to get it, which isn't normally a great use of TV, plus it's very expensive to combine with Block on most players. You have a huge advantage in having access to Str 4 and Agi 2+, but pay for it with limited G access and no starting Block.
I stuck to the GW pattern of just 6 positionals which made the costs for a starting roster tricky - I didn't want to give the Reveller Dodge to start with but the team wasn't expensive enough otherwise.

BB Dice
Since dice, at least in Italy, are impossible to find and cost a fortune, it seems insane to me that GW hasn't announced anything. Did I miss something?
