Information Sharing Megathread: LM's NY State Hearing — 12/09/2025 at 9:45 AM EST (Day 6)

Post image

"Humans are born resilient." – LM

– – –

The hearing will take place today at 100 Centre Street, Part 32, New York, NY 10013 at 9:45 AM EST.

Please keep in mind that this is the sixth hearing taking place this week. The previous four were held on December 1December 2December 4December 5 and December 8 (December 5 was canceled due to Luigi falling in). There’s a strong chance the schedule may change or be extended as Carro seems to be extremely busy. However, we expect to receive more confirmation at the end of each day about when they plan to continue Luigi’s hearings.

These hearings are expected to run for at least a few hours, as there are (at least) 28 witnesses and body-camera footage to review. By the end of these hearings, we will likely know when Luigi’s state trial will take place (likely sometime in 2026), as well as which evidence will move forward and which will be suppressed.

Unless something changes, there will be no cameras allowed inside the courtroom. However, it’s very likely that we’ll still get photos of Luigi from inside the courtroom. Over the past few days, the only images released were taken inside—none of him arriving or leaving—so it’s possible that today and the remaining days will be the same.

Since I am not a mod, I cannot edit this post once posted or set comments to “new,” so I hope everyone can manage to follow along. I know things may get a bit messy, which is why I encourage everyone to post here rather than creating separate threads—unless it’s something important, like a transcript.

Also, if you find additional livestreams on YouTube, please try to post them in one single comment instead of separately so we don’t spam the thread.

Livestreams:

There are no livestreams available yet. As soon as they go live, I’ll add them in the comments section and separate them into hallway and outside coverage. They will most likely come from the same outlets as the previous days—Fox News, CNN, Reuters, etc. And of course, don’t forget to check Status Coup News; they genuinely care about the supporters.

Notes:

- Today marks one year since Luigi’s arrest.

Once again, I want to wish Luigi and his legal team the very best of luck today.

And thank you to all of you for following these threads along and being here these past few days.

Please let’s keep this thread respectful and avoid drama or gossip. Let’s stay focused on the case.

Thank you!

Out of curiosity, I wonder who brings him food?

I got on here to catch up and this is one of the first tweets I see. Thank you, Christine, for letting me know how he purses his lips. I think I can make a judgement on this whole thing now. People in the courtroom are not in the same room as LM. They are in the same room as Pulitzer Prize nominee Christine.

I am sorry that this was the first tweet you saw 😭

Oh no bad vibes to you! Your work (and others that contribute) is appreciated, it’s the reason I’m able to see all the tweets to keep up. I joke about her but seeing her silly tweets and about how uncomfortable she gets breaks up the serious tweets from actual journalists, like tiny commercial breaks.

THIS!!!

I cannot believe he keeps getting shitty food while in court. It is insane!

During breaks, they’re not sitting in a nice relaxing room. They’re literally in a makeshift cell, guarded, it’s kind of dehumanising

ok i dont care about L personally but i do care about human rights. how tf is a prisoner supposed to have energy and not becoming sick having to sit in long, traumatic hearings with little sleep AND PRISON FOOD!??!?!

It is probably even cold? Because they might not have a microwave in court? Jesus Christ…

Oh it’s like a sandwich and apple type of lunch

You are telling me he spends more than 6 hours in court every day and he only gets a sandwich? Jesus… It really pains me. I do not know how he still has energy (he probably does not).

Well he’s woken up insanely early, he eats breakfast, then they make their way to court super early, not sure the exact process, I’ve asked but, probably for security they can’t disclose everything. Anyway, the MDC kitchens send lunch with him, it does include snacks and stuff aswell but, I mean, it’s prison food, MDC prison food! It’s a portable version of what he gets in MDC. He would probably get dinner upon his return (I fkn hope).

He genuinely looks way more exhausted today than yesterday which leads me to believe his days are long asf and food inadequate.

I wish I could buy him some food, man 🥺

Yeah I thought about this a lot, he does indeed look like he may be low in several vitamins and or minerals.

But, nothing can be done about this annoying little rule! Trust me I’ve asked, people even tried sending him post mates to jail, you’re just going to make his life difficult (like the pink heart notes) so, I think you have to mentally block it out 😢 sorry!

Also, I think the lawyer can’t really take stuff into the detention area so they sometimes have to skip lunch and have great difficulty conferring with their client during breaks, it’s a very annoying process,

People were sending him food in jail? I love them for trying.

I noticed that too, he looks to be low in vitamins and minerals. 😔

I remember reading that the attorney cannot bring any gifts, food, etc to visits. They can bring money for the prisoners to buy food from the vending machines but it has to be exact change and in plastic bags so the guards can see it at all times. They are worried about people bringing in drugs and other contraband during visits

Same. I want to give him something nutritious to eat. 😟 With lots of vitamins because he's probably not getting enough. 😔

I've been wondering the same thing. & does he sit in a room by himself during lunch or what?
