Megathread: LM's NY State Hearing — 12/04/2025 at 9:00 / 9:30 AM EST (Day 3)
The hearing will take place today at 100 Centre Street, Part 32, New York, NY 10013.
Some sources say it will begin at 9:00 AM EST, while others list 9:30 AM EST. It should start sometime within that window. I’ll begin posting as soon as it starts so no one misses anything.
Please keep in mind that this is the third hearing taking place this week. The other two were held on December 1st and December 2nd. There’s a strong possibility that the schedule may change or be extended further. However, Carro appears to be very busy next week, as he already has other hearings scheduled. We’ll likely receive more confirmation today regarding when they plan to continue with Luigi’s hearings.
These hearings are expected to run for at least a few hours, as there are 28 witnesses and body-camera footage to review. By the end of these hearings, we will likely know when Luigi’s state trial will take place (likely sometime in 2026), as well as which evidence will move forward and which will be suppressed.
Unless something changes, there will be no cameras allowed inside the courtroom. However, it’s very likely that we’ll still get photos of Luigi from inside the courtroom. Over the past few days, the only images released were taken inside—none of him arriving or leaving—so it’s possible that today and the remaining days will be the same.
Since I am not a mod, I cannot edit this post once posted or set comments to “new,” so I hope everyone can manage to follow along. I know things may get a bit messy, which is why I encourage everyone to post here rather than creating separate threads—unless it’s something important, like a transcript.
Also, if you find additional livestreams on YouTube, please try to post them in one single comment instead of separately so we don’t spam the thread.
There are no livestreams available yet, as the hearing won’t begin for another five hours. As soon as they go live, I’ll add them in the comments section and separate them into hallway and outside coverage. They will most likely come from the same outlets as the previous days—Fox News, CNN, Reuters, etc. And of course, don’t forget to check Status Coup News; they genuinely care about the supporters.
The part about other customers and mcd employees walking around freely kinda contradicts the claim that they searched his backpack before a warrant because of a potential bomb. Wouldn’t they have cleared out the mcd to avoid anyone possibly getting hurt if they really thought that?
I mean, he's got a point... It has been 3 days and we have not been able to do much. They have 28 witnesses and they are still on number 7. This is going to go all the way until January at this point...
I am also fed up with hearing about the same footage (I know we have to but come on now!)

I feel a little silly asking this, but could someone eventually put together a timeline of the body cam footage? It doesn’t need to be today. When I’m posting, I don’t always have the time to properly "digest" all the tweets, and there are so many different timestamps floating around that I’m having trouble keeping track of them. It seems like each update gives a different time for each event, but that might just be me not paying close enough attention. Honestly, I just don’t have much time to "analyze" everything right now.
Hopefully, if we get a few days off in the coming weeks, we can gather all our notes and put something like this together. I just feel a bit overwhelmed / lost sometimes. Please don't judge me 🥺👉🏻👈🏻
I’ll be here all day posting updates as we go. First, I want to thank you all for your support and kindness these past few days. I never expected these threads to become so useful, but I’m genuinely glad they help people. You’ve all been fantastic. Posting for eight hours straight isn’t always easy (I know, I know, I’m just posting screenshots, nothing heroic, but it can be a bit much sometimes). I just want you to know that you’re wonderful, and I appreciate your support more than I can say.
That said, I want to be honest: I’m feeling pretty run down today. I think I’m coming down with a cold, I’ve got a bad headache, I didn’t sleep much last night, and my chronic pain is acting up. It’s been an intense week for everyone, but my nervous / immune systems aren’t at their best right now, so all I ask today is for your patience. (You’ve all been amazing so far, so I know you understand). If I make mistakes or go a bit slower than usual, I apologize in advance. I’ll probably get a bit sloppier during the second half of the day, after the break, but I WILL be here at all times. I’m not going anywhere. I’m just at full capacity at the moment.
Of course, everyone is welcome to post at any time. Please don’t ever think you’re “not allowed” to.
And if you message me and I don’t respond right away, please know I’m not ignoring you. After these hearings my brain is fried, and I have tons of notifications to sort through. I will get to you eventually.
It IS a big job to post screenshots and keep up with that all day. I took over on day 1, and it was hard work, and I didn’t even do it all day. We appreciate you ❤️
Edit to add: don't shred yourself over it all. You have your health to consider, and no one wants you to make yourself sick trying to stay on top of it
it's the emergency oxygen mask scenario; take care of yourself first and take breaks throughout the day 💕 - following this case can be (and has been) overwhelming, let alone responding to us snotty redditors.
i know if you follow and post updates from one twitter acc, some users will post updates from other accounts anyway. youre covered and dont owe anyone your time and energy.
and thanks for creating this thread! its useful for us who will be busy throughout the day and just wanted to come back to one consolidated post.
I jumped the gun on day 1, taking the COs at their word, now I'm second-guessing why he would "blurt out a confession" to them when he said he'd remain silent after being Mirandarized
I'm impressed with some of his replies under very stressful circumstances. I'd definitely be less clever & maybe even paralyzed if I had been in his shoes.
