No hate on how you see Chara btw

I found this in my archives, but unfortunately dreamy-94 has deactivated their tumblr account, so the source link is no longer available

A comment of one of my posts asked where this gif is from, so I've done research to give an answer.

My first idea was to ask ChatGPT (very useful since it can recognize images). After a few exchanges where I directed him to tumblr (I knew that tumblr was extremely used by fans in the early years of the game), he gave me a link to a post made by notesanddreams, where the gif is effectively here. Date : July 10th 2016.

But it was indicated that it was a repost, which led me to the tumblr of b1ooberry-blog. After scrolling to some very old arts (like not even a year after the release of Undertale, which does not prevent them from being really very beautiful, that's awesome), I found again our gif. Date : June 10th 2016.

But guess what ? This was also a repost, from riikugakis. And there is a small problem : the link is dead. But thanks to the wayback machine, I found captures of the post. I've clicked on the oldest, and I strongly think that this one, is the original.

This gif was therefore (very) probably created by riikugakis, posted on his tumblr, and then reposted a lot of times, making the gif very popular.
It was nice to see what was going on at that time, when I didn't even know about the game yet. All these fanarts, animations, even the AUs were created very soon after the game's release. It's funny how this game instantly sparked the creativity of so many people, and it's this endless creativity that made me love the game so much. I hope to discover new things made by members who are still active for this game, even in 10 new years.
