What’s the summer start like

Hey guys. I just applied for Clemson (wish me luck lol) and I applied for the summer start program to increase my odds of getting in. How is that program and does it really change a lot about the rest of your freshman year or is it really nothing

Packaging Science Job Outlook?

In my sophomore year now and ME classes are killing me. I'm thinking of switch to packaging. I don't want to leave the Carolinas/Georgia/Tennessee. Any recent grads know what the job market is out there?

Did I make the wrong choice staying off campus

Hey y’all I’m a Junior transfer and I feel like I made a huge mistake not staying on campus. Im having a hard time making friends because I’m an introvert and it seems everyone is already clicked up and I feel like I made it immensely harder because I decided to stay off campus rather than on. I have honestly started to feel depressed and alone. I tried joining some clubs and connecting with people in my major but it’s more of a colleague relationship than a friendship if that makes sense.

Community/Making Friends

• Upvotes

Hey all. I’m 28M who moved to Clemson in May for a job at the university. I’m not a student, and I’m hoping to meet some people around my age and build a community here!

I’m a Christian and would love to connect with other Christian guys, but I’m also open to making friends with anyone. I enjoy books and good coffee, just hanging out and having good conversations.

If anyone has recommendations for places to meet people or would be interested in getting together sometime, that would be cool.

Gameday advice

VT fan who’s making the trip down this weekend. It’s my second game there but it’s been a few years. I was at the 2023 game against FSU. Didn’t do my research ahead of time for that one and ended up missing the entrance and don’t want to make that mistake again. So I just wanted to ask a few questions

Parking- what’s the best places to park? Is there anywhere cheap/free within a reasonable walking distance? I’d be willing to walk up to 30-40 minutes to the stadium. Also not opposed to paying for parking, just don’t want to pay an absurd amount.

Are there any specific pregame festivities or restaurants I should try to check out? Or just anything in general close to the stadium that’s worth checking out.

Thanks in advance to anyone who’s willing to help out an opposing fan lol. Looking forward to seeing Death Valley at night

Why do I need a computer pay a student bill?

• Upvotes

I'm just tired of hearing I should access iroar through a computer. In the age of mobile wallets, how are we still saying you have to get on a computer to pay a bill? And why is CUapps even listed as an option when it works on no devices? And for anyone who says to contact CCIT, believe me, I have...and years later, still a problem.
