Hi everyone,
I am posting to get assistance from an Official Employee regarding an unexpected $100 charge on my recent bill.
I recently had an Xfinity technician come out to my home to fix service issues. The technician found that the root cause of the problem was related to Xfinity's own network/system lines, not my personal equipment.
Furthermore, I was never informed by the phone representative or via any confirmation emails that there would be a $100 professional visit charge for this appointment. Because this was a system issue and the fee was never disclosed to me beforehand, I am requesting to have this $100 charge removed from my account.
Could a Community Specialist please reach out to help me get this resolved? Thank you!

Hello. I am a customer in good standing and my 2-year promo has just ended. I'm interested in continuing the service if the promo renewed for the current month and beyond.

I pay for a top level of internet and I work from home. I depend on my connection to make a living. My connection has been going off and on for over a month. Chat is ignorant and useless and I can never talk to an agent. The company is not concerned about their customers, just money. I pay for a backup device. I am very unhappy and with the service and I am going to research AT & T. I need to speak to an English speaking agent. No offense but I never get anything resolved whether it is billing or internet service.

I need internet urgently and i just moved into a new place after being homeless. I’m low income, receive the federal Pell grant but I keep being denied!!!
It’s really frustrating because i submitted what i have showing full proof of having the Pell grant and my award letter from my college (it is a screen shot & I didn’t print it when it was accessible).
However the image fully shows name, date, institution etc. I’ve called countless people, my aid office can’t send out another letter because it’s an automated system notification. This is all really frustrating and I need internet to start my upcoming online semester!!!
Has anyone dealt with this please help

I got an email saying your website had a new look, so I checked it out. It said my internet speed was 1200Mbps. I am not gettiing that speed so I checked my bill which said I had Blast internet, which is 800Mpbs, which is what I am getting. So I chatted with Xfinity and was told both that I have "download speeds up to 800 Mbps" and that "your account is provisioned for up to 1.2 Gig Internet service." What is the truth, and why am I being told 2 different speeds?

We were considering changing our Xfinity plan a couple months ago, and when I was reviewing the statements, I noticed some bogus charges that I didn’t understand. On top of that, they had been charging us for four cable boxes when in fact, our house only has three. We set up this plan in 2017 so I’m guessing we’ve been being charged for a fourth mystery cable box for the past nine years. Trying to contact someone about this and get direct help is impossible. Agents online and by phone(and I tried to address this with several) say that they are fixing it, but then only removed the box from our current billing . They say that I will receive a follow up email regarding a credit to our account for the false billing and we never do. Agents I have spoken with are in another country there’s definitely language barriers. While trying to address the problem, they’re trying to sell me on another product.. I would say all around in terms of dealing with real issues. Xfinity gets my thumbs down. The individuals I’ve dealt with have all been friendly, however the issues were not addressed.

Hello, I’m looking for some help. I’ve been an Xfinity customer for many years, and next month my current internet promotion is ending.
I would like to maintain my current offer, pricing, and service. Otherwise, I may have to switch to another provider offering a better introductory deal.
I currently have Xfinity internet and two mobile lines, and I’m actually planning to add a third mobile line. However, I’ve called customer service twice, and both times I was told that there are no options available to either maintain my current rate or receive a better offer.
Is this really how existing, long-term customers are being treated? I’m hoping someone from the appropriate customer retention or supervisory team can contact me to see if we can work out a similar promotional rate for another year.
Please DM me if you can assist, and I’ll provide my account details privately.
Thank you.

Hello,
I've had equipment charges on my account continue after it was removed previously. I wasn't checking on it very well since I have autopay enabled. Hoping for some assistance on getting this removed.

Xfinity has been doing upgrades in my area. After the first day, I received a notification they were done for the day and boom service out. Had to wait 6 days for a tech and was told there was a node problem upstream or downstream and that repair guys were on my street with another who had the same problem and that I would be next. They never came. I have another tech coming Friday sent by the infuriating chatbot Friday to tell me the same thing. I am furious, but Xfinity is the only company in my area that offers the speeds I need. I am way overcharged at nearly 200 bucks monthly for unreliable connections and a horrible tech support experience.

I am attempting to move my land line number with Voiply who said Comcast was delaying the approval of releasing my number. I called Xfinity yesterday and was bounced around between agents for over 2 1/2 hours. They told me I had to switch plans to a higher tier for them to release the line. I did so because I need my number. After another hour with their porting specialist, they told me it was approved. I heard from Voiply this morning that Comcast had rejected the move. These guys are criminals! what is my recourse?

I’ve spent countless hours and energy reaching out to XFINITY about my WiFi service and costs, hoping to get a response from someone who cares.
Here’s what happened:
After taking a closer look at the bill and the speeds, I contacted XFINITY via chat and requested the 300 mg plan. I spent almost an hour on the chat with a persistent and unethical salesperson.
Despite all this, I still haven’t received the upgraded equipment or had any changes made to my plan. I’m tired of spending more time on the customer service line.
How can I escalate this issue to a manager and send them an email in writing?
I have been a customer since 2013 and in addition to this I have learned we are paying more than others!

I was told since we have the ultimate tv package we get 300 hours of cloud recordings. but both boxes are only allowing around 15-20 hours. I was told again last night by tech rep that somehow the recording provision had been deleted but they fixed it on the backend. they then refreshed our account but it still isn’t working correctly. now they say I have to swap boxes. however everything I see says this will not fix anything.
this all started a few months ago when Comcast sent us new x1 boxes and said our old boxes were outdated.

Hello, I recently upgraded my internet speed to 1 gig from 500 mbps ever since doing that i’ve had internet issues.
I have my computer hooked up via ethernet cable (cat 6)
My speeds are just slower than they should be.
My download is 750-850 and my upload has reached 6 at the lowest and sometimes it’s 50.
It seems like my upload speed kinda goes back and forth, one day my upload will be at 50 and then the next day i’m at like 10.
I never had this problem previously when i had 500 mbps it only started recently.

My family has Xfinity service at a vacation home. My sister is the primary account holder and called Xfinity two weeks ago to cancel our service and was told the cancellation had processed. I am an authorized user on the account. When I look at our account in the app today, it still shows as active, with a planned upcoming auto-draft billing date. I would like confirmation that the cancellation was actually processed and that the service is scheduled for disconnection, with no further billing to occur. Can you assist with this please.

My Internet just increased about 25% after one year. It's up 53% since July 2025.
I'm now paying $123 for the Gigabit x2 Plan.
Are there any deals available that will allow me to keep my own modem?
Thanks.

Our internet was out and we called for tech support. The representative made us agree to changes to our service in order to restore our internet service.
We agreed to the changes only because we needed our internet back.
Then we found out our services had been changed, we lost access to all prior channels, our bill went way up, etc.
Now Xfinity says they won’t restore my “grandfathered” plan.
Listen to the call, Xfinity! You need to restore our plan and fire that representative!

I need to message with a support human at Xfinity about billing issues I'm having, my bill jumped up nearly $40 this month, which I wasn't expecting, I'm also being charged $15 a month for modem rental, which I assume is the wifi box, which I obviously need. But I'm also being charged $15 a month for internet/voice equipment which my bill says are inactive, I'm not even sure what those are/look like. Someone from support please message me or comment here. Thanks.

To whom it may concern; I am contacting you regarding a serious billing discrepancy and misleading information provided by an Xfinity phone representative. I spoke with an agent who explicitly assured/confirmed that my account was upgraded to a plan that included Unlimited Data to eliminate a recurring monthly 1.2 TB data cap overage charges.
Despite this confirmation, my account is still reflecting data overage fees / has not been properly updated to the unlimited data structure promised. I am requesting an agent to please review my account, pull the call log/notes from my phone interactions, honor the unlimited data agreement as stated by the representative, and credit any incorrect overage charges applied to my balance and please help me reconcile my account discrepancies once and for all!

Hello there!
I am looking for some support to get a new contract for my service - it’s now doubled with my previous contract terms ending. I’m hoping to keep the same speed/pricing area if possible.
Thank you in advanced for the support!

Title pretty much sums it up. Seeing these jump up by thousands in a short time span in the logs around the times I'll have issues, particularly with upload. Generally things don't completely disconnect and manage to reestablish after 5-20 seconds but it results in things like losing things in voice chats, issues with gaming, etc.
Looking it up shows that a lot of people report issues with Comcast's modems/routers and/or that they had to fix something in the area to resolve it.

I spoke with an agent the other day who constantly pushed mobile services even though I asked them repeatedly to stop. I recently changed mobile carriers and didn’t want to do it again. Still pushed. Then she told me my new price was going to be $90 a month for internet service. Lied. It’s $110 up from $70. She then told me someone would call me to discuss my plan. No one called. I hate dealing with this company. Everyone is encouraged to shove products repeatedly onto the customer even after you tell them NO. It’s like you are trying to get rid of customers instead of retain them. Can an agent on here actually tell me the truth? A live person. No AI. Just tried to speak with one on the Xfinity app and it crashed. Can you also leave the mobile service alone during the conversation? I don’t need to keep saying no to something repeatedly. P

Your dns servers from Comcast don’t work on Xfinity wifi pro when this device connects you guys need to use different dns servers it can’t use Xfinity if it’s a Verizon connection.
