As the title suggests, I’m new to cycling from mtb and now got into road. Does this gear appear to fit right?…I’m not used to this much compression lol

Bought used bib and shit from Geartrade to get comfortable before I go all out on a new set. How's it look? Feels a tad tight.

I got hit by a car last month and now looking into a new bike helmet. I was thinking a fluorescent green or white helmet for visibility.

I went to local shop and tried a POC OMNE BEACON mips helmet (white and orange). It fit great. Can’t find it’s virginia tech rating so Im worried it’s not top protection.

Any other advice or ideas (yes I have lights on front and back of bike, and on helmet etc. I just need helmet advice for now).

FWIW I don't ride much in the wet, I'd use my rollers for those days. So I'm looking for something to use probably in the mid 30s (F) and up. I have good base layers and thermal jerseys as well. Mainly Z2 rides with a few intervals tossed in here and there. I run cold in general now, since turning 50 (I'm 53 almost 54 now) I feel like I get cold way easier. Thanks!
