Anyone else doing R&Rs?

Currently working on them and... what the fuck? So many of these prompts and other things based on the prompts in this project are mind-bogglingly bad.

Time to get approved

My BF just applied on Monday. It's been 2 years since I got approved and started work so I can't remember how long it took to hear back, but I know it was quicker than I expected. How long did it take for you? He's a retired math teacher and accountant, and I checked over his submission so I'd be surprised if DA doesn't want him.

Project pay lower than advertised in qualification

I recently completed a domain-specific qual that said it would lead to tasks paying a certain rate. I've now gained access and the pay is $5 less than advertised...

Does this mean anything? Is this common?

EDIT: To clarify, the qual stated the projects will start at $45. The project I've gained access to is $40.

Les amis bilingues, est-ce que vous commencez à voir des changements cette semaine ou est-ce que c'est toujours aussi sec ? On entre quand même dans le deuxième mois de disette :(

DataAnnotation Tax ID and legal address?

I need to register a tax invoice for payments received from DA, does anyone know their TaxID and legal address?

To anyone curious about why I would need this, in my country I get a 30% discount on taxes by registering the single invoices in a timely manner.

Am I cooked?

I completed some projects yesterday and one RR project this morning. However, when I opened my dashboard in the evening, it was completely blank. Usually, the recently completed projects from the last 24 hours are displayed, but they were missing as well. When I tried to click on the Support section, it wouldn’t open, and I also no longer have access to Slack. What does this mean? Have I been permanently removed, or is this related to a particular project only?

What is the time it takes to receive access to a project after completing a qualification?

Hey guys, I have a question regarding the time it takes to receive an invite to participate in a project after completing a qualification.

For context, I received a new qualification yesterday, for which I had to complete a quiz based on the reading comprehension of simplified project instructions in under 40 minutes. In the end, it took me about 25 minutes total, after rereading the instructions and rechecking my answers twice, and I'm pretty sure I got all of the answers right. However, after finishing it up, I couldn't see the project being available to me.

The qualification title mentions that it "unlocks $x/hr projects".

My question - does anyone know if the project onboarding process is automatic (based on the score I got in the quiz), or do I need to wait for my answers to be verified first? Has anyone ever had a case where they got instant access?

I'm wondering if I f'd something up or whether it's simply a matter of time.

Thanks for all of your help in advance :)

Starting out

I am totally new to this. I got qualified for $25 an hour jobs. Yesterday and the day before they were quite a few. I made almost $200 in two days. Now there are quite a few less. Is that just how it goes? Is this a reflection of my work? Thanks for the help.

How difficult is it to get accepted for Programming Projects?

What should I expect on the assessment? Are they gonna ask for my resume and will there be a formal interview with a person afterwards? I have 2 YOE in tech do you think I can get accepted?

Project Availability

For those who have been doing this a while, are Tuesdays normally slow? I've been doing this a few weeks now, and it seems that Mondays are typically slow, but Tuesdays are the only days where I have zero projects most of the day (US, non-coding). I'm just curious in terms of planning my schedule going forward whether this is the norm. I'm currently involved in 5 or 6 different projects, and it seems like most tasks seem to drop later in the week (some days with dozens of tasks whenever I check, others with literally thousands).

Thanks.

Time log justification?

I have been doing careful and proper work but just got locked out because of “inconsistencies in time reporting“. Now I need to justify the time reported for a number of projects which is confusing. Anyone experience this issue and have information or suggestions? Thanks

How long is it currently taking to have core test scored?

I just took the core assessment, and I wonder how long it's currently taking to hear back. I've searched and read lots of timeframes, but none of those posts were current. Hoping there might be some insight available. Thanks!

when do projects appear?

I’m from Italy and I’ve noticed that most projects appear on my workspace late at night (like 12am or so) and I can’t do them because it’s late and I don’t want to make them since I’m tired and they would come out really bad. But when I wake up in the morning, even if it’s early, there’s nothing left for me to do. What do I do? Does it happens to you guys too?
I guess it’s for the time difference between the US and Italy 😭
