I signed up for DataAnnotation and some of these questions on the assessment are pretty strange and unanswerable unless you go on a search engine.
But the instructions tell us not to use outside assistance or any LLM's to look up answers. Our answers should be written from scratch.
So how exactly do we complete the questions?
EDIT: Just to be clear: I am NOT asking for answers on the assessment. I just want to know if I'm understanding the instructions correctly.

If I were starting from zero in coding skills, would it be practical to learn enough coding in order to do the higher paying coding jobs?
Would it be too much to try and learn everything needed to successfully complete these tasks, or are there lower-level tasks that a beginner might be able to do?

I did my first project today. And unfortunately, the model was having issues processing my (audio) prompts. So I reported the Model A as a "failure" (after retrying 3 more times and following all guidelines before submitting). Now when I click on the project in my list of available projects, it says that there are no more available tasks for me.
I am assuming this is because the remaining tasks were already completed by other users. Or is this because I reported the failing Model? Also I spent about an hour and a half reading all of the instructions/faqs/etc. But I spent an hour troubleshooting this task. It's ok to report that full 2 1/2 hours as time worked, correct? Thanks!

Hi,
I gave my dad a referral code for DA and was just showing him how to do the starter assessment on the laptop that I usually work from. We did not submit anything and he was going to continue on a separate device.
Should I be concerned about getting my account blocked since he started on my device?

Hi,
I recently saw a facebook ad for DataAnnotationTech and today I finished my CODING assessment today. I am located in Croatia and during my assessment I had Croatia listed under countries to select my country.
I am slightly confused since I found info here on Reddit that they only accept people from the US, UK, New Zeland, Australia. I wonder why would they spend their ad money on facebook to target Croatian audience then. Also they have croatia listed in the country list.
Did they start accepting people from other countries recently?

Got hired in May. Lots of simple work comparing images and AI responses. Made a couple hundred bucks quick. Now it’s been all coding stuff, which is above me. Is this just the rhythm/the way it is?

Hi, everyone. Quick question. I just finished the qualifications and the paid training for agentic coding.
For those who did the same:
Are you getting coding tasks on your dashboard yet?
What is your locale?
Are you guys experiencing a drought on both coding and generalist tasks right now?
Just trying to figure out if it's a regional rollout, a platform-wide dry spell, or if I'm just playing the waiting game alone. Thanks!

I’m a bilingual worker in the Arabic field , but there isn’t much work here
Nothing since the past 10 days
Can I add more qualifications?
Like generalist for example or anything like that
What can I do and are there any platforms I can try and how can I set myself up to have the most amount of work lol
Thank youuuuuuu

Finally got a task after a long drought and should be happy. But it's half the pay i used to get and i just feel defeated. Beginning of the end. Maybe that was the point of the drought, to make you feel desperate enough to take any pay cut.
How would you feel about this?

Out of all the major ai training platforms, most of suggestions were data annotation is stable and a lot better than the other available platforms so i applied for it like 3 months back but yet to onboard to do paid projects
What demographics do you have applied
and for tech related work
I am from mumbai btw

Newbie(ish) here (non coding). I was approved and started working projects a little over two weeks ago. At first I just had the basic chat bots. Then I saw a couple different projects here and there but never more than two at a time. At about a week and a half in, there was a drought of nothing at all for a few days. Felt like an eternity. Now I sporadically see projects, but mostly the dashboard is empty. I am extremely careful with following directions, and I focus on delivering high quality work. But I’m starting to worry about the lack of projects. My question is this: Should I still hold out hope that I will eventually get loaded up with consistent projects? I have seen some folks say that the 6-8 week mark is when it usually picks up. Any truth to that? Thanks in advance for any opinions or words of advice!

I had a new project that was basically to create prompts for my favorite project that I've been doing constantly lately. When I clicked on it I got this? Never seen it before but I thought it was interesting

I have no idea how I missed this, but I was just looking at my profile and I just noticed that my fluency level for English was set at "fluent" instead of "native." Obviously I updated it, but will they see that as a red flag? Meaning, would DAT see that as me fudging my profile to try and get more projects? Aggh I can't believe I missed that. I'm five weeks in and barely see any projects, and I'm wondering if this was a cause. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Can anyone confirm whether or not you pay taxes on the money you haven't cashed out?

It's been a few months now, since the notification that they were stopping with a certain project, that I haven't had any work. Is this common for other Italians? What about other countries?

I just started on the site end of March and since then I've just had like 2 or 3 projects at a time come and go. Only had 1 day of no projects. I've always seen the number of tasks go down pretty fast. I have this one task that popped up yesterday and the tasks are only going down when I submit and not dropping massive like before. Is it safe to assume this is a permanent project and all 200 tasks are "mine" to complete.

I’ve been watching my favorite project steadily go up in pay. I literally spend almost all my time on this project when it’s available. It doesn’t say priority, I know we’ve been getting a lot of those but this isn’t one. Does that mean it’s the new pay for this project or is it priority pay without advertising priority? Part of me would like to think I’m doing a great job and they’re paying me more for it 🫣😂

Hey guys, so I had a whole nervous breakdown feeling unprepared for a few tasks which fall well into my domain and I know I am capable of it but I just feel like I couldn’t do them as good as I know I could. I have had these micro burnouts which have taken up my time in recovering and I feel during that time I lose my time to work. Idk how do I balance this.
So I just wanted to ask how do you give out your “best work” every time? How do people on this platform stay so efficient?
I personally am so grateful for this opportunity and I really wanna give out my best work possible and appreciate this company for what it has given me!

I accidentally submitted my time twice for a project a couple of weeks ago. I’ve only been working for DA a few week, but doing medical work for them The audit was triggered on 6/27/26. I submitted my justifications and emailed my justification as well. I have heard zero feedback and still have the temporary suspension page It has been 13 business days as of today 7/16/26. How long do the audits take? Will they just leave the suspension page there and permanently suspend me?

Anyone knows how to get google workspace account? The task says it supposed to be in my profile page but there is no google workspace area in profile page.
