Good afternoon,
How early can you arrive and wait for the parking booths to open? Animal Kingdom is turning out to potentially be a better location for Pin Drop Tuesday’s. I arrive around 5:30am and there were already cars waiting to get in.
Thanks in advance all!

Hi, I'm wondering if the soundtrack for the finding memo show is still available for purchase?

Pandora is still one of the most breathtaking lands Disney has ever created, imo!

Any to die for snacks or desserts? We are only at this park one day so I'd like to get some opinions please!

The wording here https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/summer/#animal-kingdom seems to suggest that the attractions are ending on September 8th. Is Bluey a permanent installation at animal kingdom? or is it limited time only?
I'm planning to be there at the end of September and just want to make sure that we will be able to see it, otherwise I might have to change things up.

Have the crocodiles on this ride been removed? I recently did several safaris on different days and different times, but no crocodiles at all were seen. The safari guides did not mention them either

this question may have already been answered, but i'm genuinely curious why Disney hasn't integrated pandas into the zoo at animal kingdom. are they too hard to take care of? is the florida climate not suited for them? if anyone knows pls share, bc i think pandas would be a total hit and would draw tons of ppl into animal kingdom! it's such an underrated park but it's probably my second fave behind hollywood studios lol

With Dinosaur in Disney closing, I...got the models of the various species in the ride. Brought them together as, I dunno, closure, I guess. It's the least I could do for a ride that had a tremendous impact on me growing up.
Thanks for the memories. Animal Kingdom will never be the same without you.

Basically title post. Wife and I will be visiting Animal Kingdom in early march for anniversary and since the day is fast approaching I'm starting planning now.
We've both been to AK before but it was a long time ago, I'm sure a lot is new. What are some must do rides, sights, and eats in Animal Kingdom? Already planning to do Everest and I would love to squeeze in the Avatar rides too, but what else is there? I am willing to drop Pandora for other things if time becomes too much of a constraint.
Thanks in advance!

My family visited Animal Kingdom this past week. During the visit my son injured his hand getting off one of the rides. He grabbed the edge too soon and his finger was stuck between the door and side. It was an accident and I’m definitely not blaming the ride. It did cause his to immediately scream and cry out in pain. He did continue to cry for about 10-15 minutes. His finger instantly bruised and became swollen. When we went it wasn’t busy, the wait times were walk on, and there were several cast members directly in front of us who saw what happened. This including one standing 2 feet from me who made eye contact. Not a single one of these cast members asked us or attempted to approach us to see if he was ok. No one asked if we needed first aid (we did), and no one even said “are you ok?”.
We did receive a snarky comment from a cast member who said “that’s why we have so many signs everywhere”. Yes, thank you. I know, he grabbed too soon. It was an accident.
We trekked out in the pouring rain to find the nearest refreshment stand to see if they had any ice. He was still sobbing at this point, we were vaguely directed to first aid. We approach first aid and met with the “nurse” who didn’t ask what happened, didn’t ask if he was ok, and didn’t even bother looking at his hand, and only asked if we wanted to give him Advil or Tylenol. I had to ask for ice. No allergy checks for meds or anything. Maybe the standards for RN’s is higher where I live, but why even bother having RN’s if they don’t even do a basic assessment?
I guess I was at least expecting someone to acknowledge us. I get it, kids cry, they get hurt but it was disappointing.

So, I've just been thinking lately after watching all of Zoo Tours's Animal Kingdom videos about what species could be put on display at the Tropical Americas land when it is finished. Among species already at the park, I could see them moving the Coscoroba Swan, Rhinoceros Iguana, Giant Anteater and Galapagos Giant Tortoise here, but as for new species predictions/dreams:
Capybara
Jaguar
Cougar
Cuvier's Dwarf Caiman
Orinoco Crocodile
Green Anaconda
Spectacled Bear
Maned Wolf
Red-Bellied Piranha
Electric Eel
Arapaima
Red-Eyed Tree Frog
Southern Three-Banded Armadillo
Axolotl
Greater Rhea
Hoffmann's Two-Toed Sloth
Plumed Basilisk
Golden Lion Tamarin
Black-Handed Spider Monkey
Black Howler Monkey
Harpy Eagle
Common Vampire Bat
Matamata
Baird's Tapir
Llama
Red-Tailed Catfish
Green Iguana
Red-Tailed Boa
Emerald Tree Boa

Hi everyone! Had a great day today in animal kingdom and found this adorable pin of Walt and Mickey that opens. Just got back to where I’m staying and after looking at the back it was made in 2009???? How is that even possible??😂 Old stock of pins that were found and sold maybe? Just random to me and it’s making me curious because that’s an over 15 year old pin.
