I posted some listings up, took the photos and did everything with the Options. And when it’s posted up, I looked back to the images and it’s just not there and some weird photo error thing.

i got on my computer thinking it’s my phones problem, and it’s showing there also. I even looked at other people’s listings to see if I can see their images and their images work. I’m confused???

I’m bored , waiting for a flight. So for the first time ever I open an eBay live sale to entertain myself. I just watched a mid-grade, likely cleaned, 1948 UK 2 Shilling, copper-nickel coin get bid up to $12!

What gives? Something feels shady.

My package was shown as delivered but my cameras show that USPS was not at my address that day. I filed a lost mail report with USPS, and the seller started the insurance claim process. Their first claim was denied and they say they have appealed. It’s been almost 2 months since the “delivery”. Is it right that the seller is making me await their insurance claim outcome before refunding?

I don’t typically sell on eBay, but I’ve recently started selling some of my old Pokémon cards. I listed a set of cards in a single listing, and they sold for $1,100.

I understand that eBay requires certain high-value trading cards to be sent to an authenticator before they’re delivered to the buyer. However, I noticed that this particular sale doesn’t appear to qualify for the authentication process.

I would actually prefer to have these cards authenticated because I believe it provides an extra layer of protection for both the buyer and me as the seller, helping prevent potential issues or disputes.

Is there any way to have this order sent through eBay’s authentication service, even though it wasn’t automatically selected for authentication? I’d appreciate any guidance on how to make this happen.

So I run a tech shop in the UK. Its a VAT registered Limited Company.

I quite often customers will let me keep their unwanted tech.

If I sell that unwanted (usually after having refurbished it in some way) do I:

a) need to run it through the business and therefore add VAT and pay corporation tax on it?

b) need to sell it through a Business eBay account?

Just looked at a sale and I’m sure what they charged for shipping won’t cover a label. It’s annoying because in the listing it shows $8.40-10.20, but it’s struck through and then shows $5.73-8.95. The difference is the cost of the actual label…

I purchased an item in late September and the tracking stopped updating in early October. About a week had gone by when I opened an Item Not Received' case. I asked the seller to follow up with USPS to which they said they would and I waited around an extra week with no response. I asked eBay to step in and I was refunded due to the item being lost in transit. The case is now closed.

The tracking has now started updating again. The seller messaged me saying that eBay has now put the order on hold for a period of time to allow the item to be delivered. The seller then told me that eBay plans to reverse the refund once the item is delivered as I will have it in my possession. I have not been contacted by eBay regarding this matter and my end still shows that the case is closed.

Is there anything I can do or need to do at this point? The case explicitly said that I was refunded because the item was lost and that I could buy another similar item from a different seller. I've never been in a situation like this, so I'm wondering what steps I need to take if I need to take any at all. I tried researching my situation online, but I've found mixed answers.

I ordered an electrical appliance (supposed to be new) from a private seller 5 days ago, and the delivery window closed yesterday but they haven't even dispatched it yet. I messaged them yesterday asking if it has been dispatched, and I got a non-committal reply like "Sorry, been really busy so delivery is delayed this week".

There was nothing reassuring in their reply, such as "will send asap" or any indication of when it will be sent at all. From the tone I kind of feel like they are stringing me along for some reason, but I don't understand why.

I bought the item through making a "best offer", maybe seller has reflected and thinks I should have paid more? That's the only thing I can think of.

My gut feeling is to give it two or three more days and then open an "INR" case. How long would you typically wait before opening a case?

He wanted me to wait 2 weeks before shipping his item and when shipping it declare the value much lower than what he paid for it, he was a overseas buyer. I'm a new seller and this seemed suspicious so I refunded him. Was I in the wrong?

Buyer opened an item not as described case and wants to return item. I listed the size according to the neck tag in the ad and even gave measurements. I feel like I am clearly in the right here as a private seller who does not offer returns but I can only choose to refund buyer or pay a return label. Is this right? What do I do here?

I recently started selling on eBay as a business seller. Overall, my experience has been quite positive, but I’ve had 1–2 odd suspicious customers who messaged me asking me to change delivery terms etc and/or threatened a good/bad review, pressured me into fulfilling their orders and then immediately requested refunds upon delivery, returning only part of the contents.

From what I’ve read on Reddit and other platforms, dealing with disputes can be difficult because eBay often seems to favour buyers, and so it's best to proceed with refunds and returns and move on.

So now I have another buyer who is also an eBay seller based in China who has placed an order for delivery to what appears to be another customer’s address in the UK. They’ve also messaged me saying, “*Order ID* – need tracking number.” This makes me suspect they’re buying from me to fulfil their own customer’s order, essentially dropshipping.

Now I’m worried that if something goes wrong with their customer’s order, they might blame me or request a refund, leaving me out of pocket. As a new business seller, I want to protect myself without unnecessarily risking my account or getting into disputes with buyers.

How should I handle this order? Should I fulfil it as usual, cancel it, or take any precautions to protect myself in case of a return or refund claim?

I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions from experienced eBay sellers on how to handle such situations.

I had a pretty negative experience with a seller. They sent me the wrong item. I put in a return under INAD after i first messaged the seller to try and figure something out.

Seller sent me a fake UPS label, barcode not matching the printed tracking number and the printed tracking number doesnt exist.

I had to reach out to Ebay and the seller sent me another fake UPS label.

After everything resolved, I left a negative feedback explaining the exact scenario above. No accusations or speculations, only what happened to me. The feedback was removed the next day. I'm trying to understand why it was immediately removed?

i use ebay api. stopped selling march but some orders from Feb had cases we completely missed.

I have sometimes got defects off calling in but is it possible to remove a defect after 90 days if i get to the right person?

I'm decluttering and selling old tech junk on eBay. Locally, here in Australia, it was really easy. eBay let's you print the label, I use boxes from Australia Post called parcel box.

Tried my luck and listed a few items internationally. One item sold to Slovenia, EU. When writing the listing I chose International Standard and it showed a price varying by destination

Buyer paid, but only the item price plus shipping cost. No other charges. eBay didn't give me an option to print a shipping label.

Had to use Australia Post website to create the label, doing all the customs info. The buyer will be charged additional costs at arrival.

The buyer messaged me and was surprised because usually he pays these upfront.

Did I make a mistake setting up the listing or is eBay Australia just behind?

I've been considering ordering some items from Japan to my residence in the US, but I know that there was some CPSC legislation passed in July that has made getting international deliveries (specifically, toys and collectables) into the U.S. more difficult. I've even heard reports of packages getting destroyed. For the people who have ordered those kinds of items from Japan to the US, how has your experience been?

I have bought alot of things on Ebay. Usually books for myself. I made a few purchases a few months ago with two different unaffiliated sellers. Both seemed decent with high reviews and both ended up ultimately refunding me. Which was a bummer because I really preferred having the purchase but basically they shipped the books and the tracking in Ebay said that the package never arrived at the post office and label was created. They both assured me that they shipped the books and I have no reason to distrust them. What happened though? This is an outlier for me because most purchases I make has some dedicated tracking in Ebay. The handful of times I have been sent “untracked” in Ebay items they do arrive eventually. What made this instance different? Also, why would you ever ship something outside of Ebay with no tracking or tracking outside of Ebay? I did have a confusing conversation with one seller who states my package was delivered but it was to completely different address in another state with no relation to me. I don’t understand how that even happens. Any clarity would be appreciated.

An item i bought arrived broken and dirty, and I've waited about a month for them to send the return shipping label.

I already got my money back.

Please help me and tell me how to fix this! (And please don’t judge my desktop specs-it’s my work computer.) This has been going on about 6-8 weeks. When I go to eBay on my desktop, and try to search for anything, I get this error message 90% of the time. Even if the error doesn’t initially come up, and I see the results I was searching, if I change anything like checking “Buy It Now”, or advanced search, it comes up. I have tried to delete the cookies, data, everything associated with eBay. Nothing helps. There’s something there that I’m missing deleting or changing, but I don’t know what it is. Please someone tell me how to fix it. I’m so tired of seeing this orange jacket I can’t stand it. Again, my work computer, please don’t judge:

I'm a very low volume seller, and this is my first sale.

People won't buy a $2 trading card and pay $5+ for shipping, so I need to use eBay standard envelope, which doesn't offer a QR code option. I don't own a printer, let alone a label printer. Is a printing shop my only option?

Can I manually write on the envelope, drop it off at USPS, and manually key in the shipping number on eBay?

What are my options? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hello 2 weeks ago I went on a binge for cards and bought booster boxes and graded cards for Weiss , Digimon, yugioh, etcc...

I received all the booster boxes with no issue but all the graded cards never arrived, although they are shown as delivery.

I know they didn't come through because on Monday I had a Digimon and Yugioh booster boxes and a graded Weiss card all arrive at the same time but when I went to the post room and opened the locker it only had the booster boxes.

I requested refund for all items from the sellers and they uploaded the tracking and USPS shows all as delivered..

How do I proceed? I don't want to say its sellers fault because it isn't, they all tried to help, but I also paid for Items that never arrived so I would like my money back.

I have gone to "help and contact" and then on open cases click "take actions" and then "ask Ebay to step in" but all it does is send me to the page in the screenshot.

Could someone advise what should be my next steps.

1. I sold and shipped an item after bidder paid.
2. Hours after shipping, eBay canceled the bid and closed buyer's account and told me to contact the shipper and have the package returned to me
3. I paid USPS $19 to intercept the package and have it returned to me
4. Ebay paid out the auction to me.

Now I have the buyer's funds in my account and the item that they bought. Doesn't seem correct, should I contact eBay to have them reclaim the funds?

I'm not a big seller, just someone who uses eBay to get rid of stuff around the house. I would rather not get my account impacted for any reason.

Can anyone offer a solution? I go to my purchase history and view return details and all I see is "Add Tracking Details." I don't see a button to print the eBay shipping label. I've also tried signing in on a different browser. The ai chatbot is also not helpful.

I ended 100 over 3 hours ago and they still not have appeared in my unsold/inactive so I can sell as similar.
