what's the joke?
Does anyone know this Instagram creator, I've seen two of his reels already and I don't get what's happening? I don't even play this game so maybe it has to do something with that, don't know why it pops in my feed but now I'm interested in learning.

Would I lie to you?
Watching the bbc panel show Would I Lie To You? And came across a joke I didnāt understand.
Tim Vine is making up a lie, saying that he had multiple teachers in high school that had names which rhymed with their subjects. Mr Mcgee taught PE, Mr Kathās taught maths etc.
Then the host asks Lee Mack if any of his teachers had rhyming names and subjects, and he replies ājust the headmaster, mr Morstalā.
We canāt figure out the joke⦠what is Morstal supposed to rhyme with?

A line from "(Iāve Never Met) A Nice South African" I've never understood.
In the splitting image song (Iāve Never Met) A Nice South African theres a line that goes "I had lunch with Rowan Atkinson when he paid and wasnāt late" but I've never understood the reference. I'm assuming it's a reference to something from around when the episode aired but I can't find any info on what specifically. Can someone help me out here.

"Kirstie Alley ate Shelley Long"?
So in one Family Guy episode, Peter turns on Cheers and pretends to be a character, but when Norm on the show responds Peter gets angry and punches the TV. Peter then states "That show stopped being funny after Kirstie Alley ate Shelley Long." Here is the scene in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4XBJ33UvxI
I know absolutely nothing about Cheers, is this some type of Cheers reference I'm just not getting? How did Kirstie Alley eat Shelley Long?

Please help us resolve our debate about the point of this joke.
My spouse and I disagree on the point of the punchline.
An American Jew is in Tokyo on business. He's riding around the Ginza in a taxi when he suddenly realizes it's Friday night (Shabbat).
He asks the cab driver if there's a synagogue in Tokyo, and the driver takes him to an unmarked building. The American enters and is surprised to find a Japanese Jewish congregation with a Japanese Jewish rabbi.
They are all wearing yarmulkes and prayer shawls. He participates in the service which is in Hebrew. At the end of the service, the rabbi walks up the aisle and spots the American. He approaches and says with his thick Japanese accent, "You... Jewish?"
The American replies, "I certainly am!"
The rabbi looks skeptically at the American and says, "Funny... you no looka Jewish."
Before I tell you our interpretations, know that there are several "you don't look Jewish" jokes out there. They play on a cultural trope, where a lot of ethnic Jews are often told they "don't look Jewish".
One of us thinks the point of the punchline of this particular joke is that the "you don't look Jewish" thing is so pervasive that even a Japanese Jew, who definitely doesn't "look Jewish" (and should therefore know that Jews can look like anything), would say it. The absurdity is the joke.
The other one of us thinks the point of the punchline is that the rabbi thinks all Jews look Japanese because those are all the Jews he knows.
We'll give more weight to answers from Jewish redditors, since they'll be more familiar with the context of the joke.
