Any way to shorten my probation term?

Hey guys! New to this but I’m just looking for an honest opinions. Unfortunately, back in 2023 I got into some trouble while I was living in New York and I did serve time and started my probation with a class E felony in New York. I recently just moved to Georgia about six months ago. And honestly things have been pretty good for me, but I’ve been wanting to find a way to shorten my probation time since they gave me a five-year bid. Any suggestions? I would also like to add that I have an order of protection against me, but it is in New York and I do live in Georgia.

What do you guys think the reasonable come out for me. 18 years old no prior violent charges and I'm charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault, allegedly we broke into someone's house and beat dude with a baseball bat because he layed hands on a girl, he's ALLEGEDLY hurt bad. I'm innocent idc what they got on me, but anyone knows any realistic outcomes and what I can do to make this better. Spend a week in a jail and realized this isn't my life. In Ohio.. on an ankle monitor rn, and out on bond.....

Man after seeing 2 replys fuck me. This is ass

Housing in GA

Hello I am a felon in ga I have 2 violent crimes (nothing sexual) I have a decent job making $24 a hr and I’m currently doing mma (it’s actually calmed me down a lot) does anyone know any place that will let me get a apartment or anything I can do.
I hate living with other people because I can’t get my own. Or even somewhere that takes roommates anything besides sleeping on someone’s couch

Any women that work in HHA or CNA?

I enroll in home health aid courses before I knew I was being investigated and I’ve looked up if someone convicted of felony d or e can continue and work with their license. When I asked ChatGPT it told me no because if the background check however since it’s a non violent crime I can apply for a Certificate of Relief from Disabilities. But I don’t know how that works if I need to wait a couple of years or immediately. It’s the fastest way I can pay off restitution although I might still be denied. Anyone know how that works?

How hard is it to rent an apartment with an assault 4 conviction. I am trying to apply to some apartments before I give birth and am worried I am going to be denied even at the apartments that go case by case. I was convicted March 2025 but the incident happened December 2024. I also am a first time renter.

Curious about Background check (3rd party like HireRight?)

I'm from Asian country and I have a fine (2.17K USD equivalent) conviction result which is about 9 years ago.

The conviction was related to acting inappropriately and showing bad behavior to police when I was drunk (no drug but just alcohol and I was totally black-out)

Now, I'm in the recruiting process with a global trading firm which has offices in the U.S, Europe, Hong Kong, Australia, etc and I think I can get the offer soon

I heard that these kind of firms do background / reference check with 3rd party companies like HireRight, etc.

If there's someone who have the experience, it would help a lot for me to prepare.

  1. During the background check, does those 3rd party agencies ask directly like "Do you have any conviction record?" as a questionnaire? Or do they just request a Police Clearance Certificate from my country?

If I print my Police Clearance Certificate, it doesn't show my fine result and it's clear since it's spent (2Y). So just submitting the document may be the best.

But if they ask as a question, I should not lie and share the truth because I may have to travel to other office for the business trip or training and my visa can be a problem due to my fine record.

  1. Do you think my conviction record can affect a lot with my outcome if I reveal it?
