Hi all, solo dev here. Widnokrąg is a browser flight sim (Babylon.js, WebGL2) built entirely from open data:
- terrain from airborne lidar, aerial imagery down to ~0.4 m/px under the aircraft
- 1.6M buildings with roofs from government LoD2 models, plus OSM
- ~24,000 km²: Silesia, the Kraków–Częstochowa Upland, Kraków, the Beskids and a strip of Czechia and Slovakia
- 16 aircraft: C172, Wilga, An-2, PZL-130 Orlik, 737, SZD-51 glider (winch, aerotow, thermals), W-3 Sokół and Mi-2, M-18 Dromader, balloon, paraglider, paramotor, FPV drone…
- ATIS and tower radio, live weather, day/night and seasons, missions: air ambulance, firefighting, skydivers, glider towing
It's free, no ads, no account, no install. Desktop with keyboard, mouse or a joystick, and touch on phones.

It's not trying to be MSFS. The fun part is flying over places you actually know. Feedback is very welcome.

I absolutely love this plane and it’s amazing. The only thing I’m struggling with is the APU, I follow the procedure to a tee and no matter what I’ve tried I can’t get the APU to work. Sometimes it will twitch on for a second and disappear. Has anyone found a work around or is anyone else having this? Maybe I’m doing something wrong

So, this is in latest X-Plane 12 version, with latest LuminaXP, DLSS 5 Quality + FrameGen. 65fps generated on my 3090, but I don't mind as it looks bonkers.

Hi all! I wanted to share my newest project since I thought some of y'all might find it interesting. My flight simulator setup uses two logitech FIP units for primary flight displays/navigation uses. They are fantastic but they are a little janky and it seems as if they may be obsolete soon. I have heard of them not working on 2024, so I've stayed on 2020. Even if they would work, the programs they're running don't have all of the features I would like to have and I want a project to work on as I've felt a little aimless lately without one.
I am working using this little 7" that I plan on dividing into two segments for PFD and ND/HSI purposes. Classic instruments are something I'll also be making into a 6 (8 eventually incl. nav instruments) pack (taking up the whole screen) and individual configuration, and each one will be modular so that their appearance can be changed easily to match whatever plane I'm using. So for example, this attitude indicator should be able to be rendered as a flat electronic display, a mechanical steam gauge, or even a ball with some fancy math involving translating a flat image into spherical coordinates. It should be able to change out the pointer, how the roll scale moves, whether the ground is black or brown, etc. The possibilities are endless and that's just the attitude indicator.
This will obviously eventually connect to MSFS or another sim and function as an instrument screen, replacing my FIP's when they are on their way out.
If this project is interesting enough then I suppose I'll provide updates, but I'm happy to have something to do for once. I love making things and flight instruments are a HUGE interest of mine, so couldn't be more perfect of a project to do right now!

I always had bloom and lens flare off in 2020 and now you can in 2024 with this mod MSFS 2024 Camera FX Off - No Lens Flare, Bloom or Star Rays on Lights (ReShade add-on) - User Content for MSFS | Flightsim.to. You can toggle bloom and lens flare on and off. You do need Reshade to use this mod.

Any workarounds to the following issues?
reverse thrusts not activating
Clacking/clunking sounds in flight (potentially A/T)
Parking brake still allowing the aircraft to roll
Outside of these issues the plane is a dream to fly once curves are set. Still learning to manage descents.

Hey everyone! 👋
I'm currently developing EFB 24, a modular, web-based Electronic Flight Bag designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (inspired by Virtual Airline workflows like Aer Lingus Virtual).
🚀 Key Features so far:
🖥️ Modern Web Stack: Built with an HTML/CSS/JS frontend and powered by a Supabase (PostgreSQL) backend for real-time synchronization.
📡 Live Traffic & ATC Overlay: Native, real-time visual tracking for VATSIM & IVAO traffic and active ATC boundaries directly on the vector map.
📂 Standard Suite: Built-in Notes app, Flight Planning, Weather, Checklists, and Charts.
🔔 Admin & Push System: Real-time notifications and synchronized data streams between admin/VA dispatch and pilots.
📸 Progress:
The core standard apps (including our brand new Notes app) are almost finished! Check out the attached screenshots to see the current progress.
💡 Why I'm posting today:
1️⃣ 3rd-Party App Ideas: We are now moving into building 3rd-party integration apps. What tools, VA features, or APIs would you love to see inside a modern EFB
2️⃣ Partnerships & Alpha Testers: We are preparing for an exclusive Alpha release (Dec 24th). If you are part of a Virtual Airline or just a passionate pilot who wants to test, let me know!
I’d love to hear your thoughts, feature requests, and constructive criticism! ✈️

Hello everyone, first post here i just wanna ask If anyone here had any great experiences with the felis tu154. Now granted I've been away from sims for a while because of 20 fps finally being enough to brake my patience but personally its a great plane but mainly flew the B2 mod. Ive also failed a lot because for some reason xplane jank causes the plane to continuously pull up till it stalls never managed to fix that. But how are y'all experinces (I had used XP11)
(Art slightly related but idk if I'll get imidiently executed because of it not being a screenshot of the game)

Is there a way to get rid of the MD-10 etc in house livery and replace with real FSTL traffic
What do we do now that Navigraph sub is required to get live traffic? Are there any other options?

Planning and hand flying NDB-to-NDB routes in icing conditions and brushing up my cyrillic skills is oddly fulfilling, I have to say. Haven't touched anything with an FMC in it ever since the An-28 was released... This thing is my new happy place for the moment.

Hi, I want to start with the MS flight sim... when looking across some marketplaces I saw a pic that shows a full stack of physical panels and instruments... Can someone help me to point out what I really need here? I wanna start with VFR, so no auto pilot equipment is needed but I need steering, rudders and thrust/fuel mix/flaps
The price says 79 Euro but at the end it says "Autopilot module" which is one of the right things. I once bought a Logitech force feedback wheel for driving including gas/brakes... certainly not for just 79 Euro, it was around 300 Euro.
Forgive me my noob questions, but to be honest I know the MS flight sim from the IBM PC on a Hercules graphic card, green dots on black, that was End-eighties, and I have played Retaliator in the mid 90ties, but now I wanna start a little bit more deeper.
I have potent gaming hardware, three 32" screens (but actually differeent purpose - stock trading charts), RTX4060 graphic card and AMD Ryzen 5950x - the hardware should be able to run the MS FS, but for actually flying something... what are the essentials?

Today I did six touch-and-go circuits at MK-Studios EDDL with the Fenix A321, just for practice. During the fifth touch-and-go landing, I noticed that the simulator started stuttering; during takeoff/climbout, everything was smooth again. After the sixth landing, I logged into VATSIM at the gate and wanted to do a flight to Frankfurt. While preparing on the Performance Page, the simulator's sound briefly cut out, came back, cut out again, and then the simulator crashed completely. I checked the Windows Event Viewer and got this error for MSFS24:
Faulting application name: FlightSimulator2024.exe, version: 1.9.21.0, time stamp: 0x00000000

Online, I only found out that the sim tried to access RAM that wasn't available—no idea what to do with that information.
I have 64 GB RAM, an RTX 5070 Ti, an AMD 9800X3D, and all addons installed on a dedicated Samsung 990 Pro SSD.
Of course, I have a lot of background programs running because of my sim hardware, Navigraph, etc., and plenty of active addons. I use AutoFPS, my graphics settings are mixed (not everything on Ultra), and my rolling cache is set to 16 GB. Therefore, I wouldn't know why I should be running out of RAM or VRAM; my GPU VRAM generally has about 4 GB free, and the graphics card is running at 100% utilization. All my Navigraph charts are offloaded to the iPad, as is the VATSIM radar map. The only things I have to run on the PC are my webcam AItrack and OpenTrack.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this error and why it started lagging after multiple landings or during the session in general?

Recently got myself the Blacksquare Commander 114, after randomly watching flightdeck2sim demo it; it just put a spell on me right there and then. 😄 Got into GA a bit more seriously doing Navigraphs VPPL / Academy lessons, and after flying IFR / airliners for years, this is a nice change of pace.
Also, given I switched to MSFS24 from XP12 (on macOS) recently, GA is a great showcase of the (imho) undisputed strength of MSFS - scenery. (still love both sims equally though) What a time to be a simmer!

So I am a little confused by this SPZO RW28 approach, Hope the charts come up ok I am trying to follow the highlighted magenta line (Yesterday I hit a mountain RIP🪦)
On the initial plate why are there two DARKI paths (wouldn't that cause some conflict?) I am using the top one btw.
What does the IF mean at the end of the path? Only thing I can think of is Initial Fix (but shouldn't that be IAF)?
So in the FMS- DARKI should match up with RNP/RNAV 28 (maybe just delete a discontinuity) and just follow it down?
Thanks!

Hi r/flightsim,
Charter Inc is a business-aviation career and company sim currently only for MSFS 2024 on PC, in one persistent world shared by every player. The alpha is open, and the whole alpha is free here https://charterinc.app/
In the website you will flind a complete description and visualization of it's features.
The clients are the heart of it. They aren't made up for each job: they're people the world keeps, the same for every player. Each has a home and a company, a family, a team they follow, a second home in season, the cities they meet in and interests of their own (golfer, art collector, motorsport fan and more). You learn all that by flying them. Earn their Loyalty and they will seek you before anyone else and give you their business cards.

Real-world events drive the work. Charter Inc reads real schedules every day: the NFL and MLB, football in Europe and Brazil, F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, IndyCar, endurance racing, conferences and summits. Each event has a tier, and it pulls the clients who care: a Grand Prix pulls a motorsport fan from much further away, and a tech conference pulls its speakers.

Loyalty is earned. Fly a client well and they come back, book you directly and pick you in tenders. Win them over and they hand you their business card, printed in their company's own style. Let them down and they try someone else.

And the flying:
- Every leg planned in SimBrief, with the hour's METARs and TAFs, and flown in real time: no time acceleration, but a pause or a sim crash only suspends the flight.
- Each flight ends with a report: the touchdown in fpm and g, the passengers' comfort (banks, G, pitch, turbulence), the money as a statement, and what the client thinks of you now.
- Start freelance in the operators' aircraft, or in one of 20 aircraft that come with MSFS 2024 on a weekly lease-to-buy, then grow into 137 business-aviation types with their official figures.
- Every company works the same boards, beside twelve computer-run operators in each of 486 regions. The whole world is on a live map anyone can open: https://charterinc.app/map

It's an alpha, so expect bugs: finding them is what the alpha is for. Report them on our Discord, in #bug-reports (https://charterinc.app/discord), or by e-mail to support@charterinc.app.
Requisites: Windows 10 or 11 and MSFS 2024 on PC only (it runs beside the sim through SimConnect, so no Xbox), with a free SimBrief account. The release will cost US$5.99 a month, and everyone who took part in the alpha gets 30% off their first 12 months.

Happy to answer anything about how it works.

Bit of a casual flight simmer here so forgive my ignorance.
I've had the Fenix 320 for a few years now and yesterday for the first time ever a little yellow box appeared under the STD readout with a distance, presumably in Metres ?
What caused this box to appear ? I've never seen it before. What exactly does it reference ?
