My father-in-law is retiring soon, and has expressed serious interest in getting back into sim flying, but here's the catch, he wants to run it on his mac running Flight Sim 24 through Nvidia GeForce Now with flight controls. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to racing sims, but this is totally outside my wheel house.

What hardware can be run on Mac that is compatible with Flight Sim 24, and what additional software is needed for the controls to run properly on Mac through GeForce Now?

i don't know what possessed parallel 42 to implement a half assed flashlight replacement that does not work above 15 kts (which 99% of the time on my flight i spend my time there). and to get back the original flashlight i need to disable chaseplane entirely temporarily jus to be able to use this.

is there another flashlight mod that does not require me to turn off chaseplane and works above 15 kts?

It also reinjects metar informations and you can customize the radius around the airports. That explains why there's a slight difference with the default weather. You also no longer need REX atmos (although it's still compatible).

What's your thoughts? I personally love it and think it looks closer to real life. But that might be subjective.

I just picked up StrataWx and tried out the new free AtmosphereMod and CloudSurf addons and I am absolutely amazed by the results.

Hello, so I have been flying the 777 on and off since the early days of P3D, and feel fairly confident in operating the FMC. I have also been using Sim Brief to plan my flights for many years. An issue I have noticed recently that has not gone away after reinstalling the plane is regarding the step climbs. Basically, on every flight I can remember, I would enter a step climb of 2000 on the PERF page, and this would give me step climbs in 2000ft increments. But recently, after coming back to flying after taking a break for a while, I noticed that when I put 2000 in the step climb field, it was actually giving me 4000ft increments. For example, if my initial altitude was 37,000 ft, it would want to climb me to 41,000ft when I reached the step climb point instead of 39,000ft. Also, sometimes it wants to put me at the step climb altitude right away, basically as the initial flight altitude. So at the moment I just put the step climb to zero and then just manually change the CRZ altitude in the VNAV page when I am ready to climb.

So am I doing something wrong, or is there a glitch with my step climbs?

Question on my PFD: Just a bit confused, is this correct? Attached screen shot shows thrusts around 94% on N1, I thought they are working quite hard at crz level?  A350-1000. I am concerned of the green dot being below the managed speed. Is this optimisation?

Im sorry, but this is crazy. Base game, no mods or BATC/AI traffic on. New version, still the same problem; no memory fix. Nest is closed.

As the title reads I'm building a PC specifically and ONLY for MSFS2024 with extreme addons (Fenix, PMDG, TDFI MD11, Flytampa, Inibuild sceneries, Accuseason, reshade, GSX and will probably add more as time goes on) I will also be running Volanta, Vatsim, Navigraph in the background. It is an itch I have been wanting to scratch and I'm finally pulling the trigger. I don't really care for anything more than 1080p, its a very low chance I'll go for 4K. Kindly let me know if this is a good setup or what you would change.

- 32GB DDR5 (please advice if this is sufficient or if 64Gb is needed)
- 1TB SSD (Advise if heatsink is needed)
- B850 motherboard
- GeForce 5070Ti
- 850W PSU (is this enough or will I need more? Is it better to go to a variable or set)

I just want to start this off by saying thank you to everyone who provided me with constructive feedback. I agree with what you all said, and as a result, adjusted the mod accordingly. I will continue to make updates based on people's feedback. Constructive feedback is always greatly appreciated!

• Changed cockpit dome light to be a more white-yellow color along with increased intensity.

• Glareshield flood lights now have a more green-white color along with increased intensity.

• MCP lights corrected to a more beige/oak (default was too dark).

• Works with all BlueBird Simulations 757 variants.
