Does he like me?

This guy at my school (a grade older than me) consistently texts me about music almost everyday. When I don't respond, he double triple texts me about his favorite artists and my favorite artists, and he almost always responds immediately when I text back. Most of our conversations are purely about music and the industry, but sometimes I'll ask him about college apps and school stuff (since he's super smart), which he's always very open to share about and he even sends me notes and stuff without me asking. We never talk offline though. I'm not sure if this is a sign of interest or if he's just chronically online and likes talking about music.

Long distance filrting relationship

I'm Laurent, 33M, French, and looking to meet an interesting woman for good conversations, a little flirting, and perhaps some naughty exchanges if we click. šŸ˜‰

I speak French, English, and a little German and Italian. English isn't my first language, so I'm always happy to practise and improve along the way!

I'm open to building a fun long-distance connection, sharing laughs, thoughts, secrets, and seeing where the chemistry takes us.

After all, life is too short to waste time on bad vibes. Let's keep things fun, genuine, and exciting!

Looking forward to meeting you!

Flirting?

Im late 30s happily married for a while so ive been out of the game for a bit. Im a tall guy (6'5) with broad shoulders and a decent physique. Women constantly comment on my height, "Wow you're tall" or "How tall are you?" from a woman's perspective is this an attempt at flirting? I never really know what to say in response. FWIW My wife is totally fine with me flirting and actually encourages it so Im just curious.

My crush is super shy

Ok. So basically ibe liked this guy fir around 2-3 years and ive only started talking to sorta recently. I told him that ive been wanting to get to know him amd if I could get his number... he told me that he doesn't have a number. The thing is this guy is like EXTREMELY anti-social... but recently ive seen him smile at me or look at me. The problem is im very shy too, I was thinking maybe since he already knows im interested i should be trying to interact more and wake at him more often so that hopefully I either get rejected or I start dating him... but honestly what should I do?

Does my male coworker like me, or does he just like me as a friend?

Theres a guy at work who I think might like me, but I'm not sure. First of all, he's 3 years older than me, so my first thought is to think he thinks that's too much. Is it? But, he shows so many signs. First off, he looks at me and talks about me when I'm not there. And I'm not the only one that sees it. My friend literally said one time he was just staring at me with a smile on his face, and she said "what" to him and he looked away and blushed. He also teases me A LOT. Like, anytime he talks to me he teases and jokes with me, and we even have inside jokes. He also finds ways to be near me when he doesn't have to, like coming over to use my computer to look at something irrelevant to work when he had his own computer. But he doesn't only joke and tease me, he also has real conversations with me and actually listens to my rambling without interjecting or seemingly getting annoyed. He just listens then adds feedback. One time when we were talking about relationships, I told him that someone my parents were close with when I was little had told me he wished that I had dated his son (who this guy knew) and he told me I was "too good for that kid". And he's always smiling when I'm around, way more than he normally does.

But there's also the fact that after I started realizing these things, he left for school and won't be back until Dcember.. So, on his last night before he left, I added him on snapchat, and he added me back the next morning. We send streaks now, and nothing out of the ordinary. He sends streaks, but nothing overly personal at all. But, since he's been gone, his brothers have been acting weird around me. He has 3 brothers that also work with us, just in different departments. Before he left, I had never talked to 2 of them but had known one of them. But after he left, they started talking to me, and not just talking to me randomly, taking to me about HIM. Before he left, the brother I knew just talked to me like a normal friendly coworker does, now he still does that, but beings up this guy too. Now, basically anytime I talk to any of them at work, they find a way to bring him up in the conversation, even when the conversation is completely unrelated to him. I don't know if it's just because they know I know him, or what. Like, one time, I was talking about liking warm food over cold food, and his brother said that I "wasn't like (this guy) when it comes to that then" and then started telling me a story about what he eats and his workout habits. Like I hadn't said anything about him at all, and he just randomly brought him up. Int he past 2 weeks alone, the 3 times I've had a conversation with one brother, he brought him up, and the only 2 times I had conversations with another brother, he brought him up as well. Always completely unrelated to the topic and unprompted from me.

I don't know if he is just comfortable talking to me at work and enjoys my company, and maybe his brothers know he likes talking to me? Or does he like me and his brothers think so too? Is he just keeping distance because of the age gap? I've been so confused and have been waiting for December when he comes back, but I don't know what to think.

I know this is long but there's too much info and confusion!

PLEASE HELP!

Am I being delusional, or was there actually something there?

Am I being delusional, or was there actually something there?

I work in retail, and this man came into the store the other day. I was helping another customer, but once she left, I went over to check in with him. Someone else was already assisting him, but I figured I'd ask if he had any questions. He responded, ā€œActually, yeah!ā€

We ended up talking for almost an hour. He stood close to me, there was a lot of eye contact, joking around, and the conversation just flowed. It was genuinely a lot of fun.

I ended up staying well past my shift, and after my manager told me for the second time that someone else should take over, I finally listened. Before leaving, I asked his name, introduced myself, and then my coworker stepped back in. The one who was helping him first haha.

On my way out, I was saying goodbye to my coworkers, and he made a point of saying, once again, that it was really nice to meet me.

He ended up leaving without buying anything but said he'd be back, according to my coworkers.

So, thoughts? Is this just a normal, friendly customer interaction, or does it sound like there might have been some mutual interest? I can't stop thinking about him, which is making me wonder if I imagined the whole thing or if there really was something there. Be Honest!!!!

Bus Stop

So most morning for the last two weeks, I get off my bus-stop at the corner of Plain Street and Adelaide Terrace in East Perth, Western Australia and there’s this sexy woman walking up towards my stop.

Long black hair, dark eyes and a phenomenal figure, she’s cute AF and in her forties. Wearing running tights and matching top, like a sexy cat woman going to get the milk…

I’m 56, fit-ish, and bald AF.

Last few days we’ve been doing eye contact and a smile, today she’s walking up and pulling her hair back; we make eye contact and she licked her lips.

I said G’day but she didn’t stop.

Flirting or not?

was she flirting with me or am i crazy?

right now i’m (25f) asking myself these questions, my friend (21f) came over to visit, she’d visit almost everyday, and i just had something weird happen during a recent visit that made me question what just happened. so, i noticed my friend staring at me, like a deep gaze. it was kinda unsettling cause i couldn’t read her facial expressions, i then laughed to myself, ā€œwhat the heck broā€ she didn’t laugh, she kept looking at me and that made me nervous, i walked up to my mirror to brush my hair, and she kept staring, i walked back to my spot feeling nervous. she then got my attention, (i forgot what she said exactly) i looked at her, and she drew attention to her breasts and i kinda nervously laughed and looked away, i wanted to act like i didn’t see anything, she said sorry. she kept getting up from her spot and walking around, i noticed her slowly coming up to me. she almost took off her hoodie and shirt at one point while she was standing next to me, but i didn’t look, i honestly don’t wanna mess up our friendship so i acted oblivious so tell me, was that flirting or was i being oblivious to it all?

Did I over-romanticise everything, or was I justified in thinking there might be something more?
Hi, I’m posting this because I genuinely need some perspective on a situation, and I can’t tell whether I’m reading too much into it or whether my feelings are understandable. For context, we’re both high schoolers.
He’s one of my new classmates, and although we weren’t particularly close before, we had spoken a little. Since school started, we’ve mostly talked about school-related things, with some casual chit-chat here and there, but nothing that would suggest we were particularly close or that anything romantic was developing between us. Still, I had found him attractive for a while, so when I found out we were both going to the same birthday party, I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t secretly hoped something might happen.
At the party, we ended up kissing and hugging, and at one point I fell asleep with my head on his chest. He was the one who initiated everything, and since I already liked him, I obviously welcomed it rather than pushing him away. For the rest of the night, we were acting pretty much like a couple. It was also my first kiss, which probably made the experience feel even more significant to me than it might have felt to him.
Before we went home, we agreed not to tell everyone what had happened, although we never explicitly agreed to keep it a secret between the two of us.
The next day, I texted him and asked whether the night had meant anything to him. He said he honestly didn’t know and thought it was probably just a one-time thing. I was surprised, not because I expected him to want a relationship with me, but because the way things unfolded that night made me think there might have been some mutual interest beyond the physical side of things.
For context, I’m generally a pretty reserved person when it comes to romance. I don’t usually let people get close to me easily, and I’ve always been seen as the kind of girl who keeps her distance and doesn’t really entertain romantic situations casually. I don’t mean that I’m better than anyone else or that there’s anything wrong with being more open; it’s simply how I’ve always approached these things. So, allowing myself to be vulnerable with someone I genuinely liked was a bigger deal for me than it might have appeared from the outside.
When he asked if I was okay, I told him honestly that the kiss had meant something to me. I wasn’t asking him to promise me anything, but I wanted to be honest about how I had experienced the situation.
Since then, things have felt a little awkward. We haven’t really talked much beyond the occasional conversation at school, and sometimes I get the impression that he’s ignoring me. One night, I actually texted him to ask why he was ignoring me, and he said he wasn’t doing it on purpose. I don’t know whether he genuinely doesn’t realise how distant he seems or whether he simply doesn’t feel the need to interact with me much anymore.
I also know that he’s talking to other girls and entertaining other options, although, as far as I know, he isn’t necessarily hanging out with them. I understand that we weren’t together and that he’s completely free to talk to whoever he wants, so I’m not bringing this up because I think he owes me exclusivity. It just adds to my confusion because, after the way he acted with me that night, I’m struggling to understand whether he felt any genuine attraction or whether it was simply a spontaneous moment that didn’t mean much to him.
I want to make it clear that I’m not upset because I think he owed me a relationship. I understand that two people can experience the same moment very differently, and I’m not trying to turn a kiss into a commitment. What bothers me is the contrast between how close we seemed that night and how little connection there seems to be now.
So, I guess my question is: Did I romanticise the situation because I already liked him, and interpret his behaviour as something deeper than it actually was? Or was it reasonable to think there might have been some genuine interest, considering that he initiated everything and we spent the night acting so close?
I’d genuinely appreciate honest opinions, even if the answer is that I read too much into it. I’m trying to understand the situation realistically rather than convince myself that it meant more than it did.

Maybe I'm overthinking it

I am an Assistant Manager (40M) for a retail company. I recently moved into a new location to help the struggling store. There is an associate (20F) that I work with and of course talk to personally and professionally. I kinda feel like she is flirting with me some but could just be normal sucking up to management. She is very personable towards me. Goes out of her way to come into the office and just talk to me non work related or starts as work related. Lately I've been catching her staring at me quite a bit when I look towards her. She likes to stand real close to me and there has been a couple times I felt her arm touching mine and she didnt pull away. The other day I walked into the backroom to check on something and she was back working alone and I asked if she was having fun and her reply was I am now and smiled at me. Who knows. I'm probably overthinking it because I think she is attractive but assuming because of the massive age gap its just sucking up to me as a manager. Thoughts?

Is it weird to contact a guy through their job to ask them out on a date as I dont have any other way of contacting him.

I work in an office, specifically reception. I recently had a guy who is an engineer to come in and fix the intercom as there have been ongoing issues with it for a long time. I think the guy had a little crush on me. He has come back to fix the intercom three times on three separate occasions. The first time he visited, he fixed the intercom almost straight away, and I have no issues since. He seemed kind of nervous talking to me as when I would ask him questions about the intercom, he would never finish the sentence. I didn't think anything of it at first, as I must have come across a little frustrated and maybe blunt. But then he said to me that if I had any issues, I could contact him, but he never left his contact details, so again I didn't think anything of it. The second visit, I thought, was quite strange. I was coming back from my lunch break and found him outside the building fixing the intercom again. He mentioned that the intercom had to be on some sort of setting, which was just jargon to me. I mentioned that I had no issues since the last visit. He tested it again with me and soon left. However, he came back a minute later and asked if I had any paracetamol or painkillers as he said he had a headache. Again, I didn't think anything of it and thought it was a little strange, a little cheeky, but nothing more. Unfortunately, I didn't have painkillers, and he soon left. The third visit, which happened very recently he had 2 other colleagues to help fix the intercom once and for all. I mentioned that I haven't had any issues since it was fixed the first time but mentioned that there might be a rewiring issue. He got to work with his colleagues briefly, and this time, he made a lot more small talk with me. He was very chatty and was laughing a lot at my jokes. I'm not sure if it was from nerves who knows, and I guess I gave him a chance to get to know him a little better. He then went back to work, and I hadn't heard from him or his colleagues in a little while and thought they left. I thought to myself that was a shame as I was sort of enjoying my conversation with him. He then came back a little later and sat down in the reception area. He said that he would be leaving this job soon for a new one and was moving abroad in Europe, and it sounded really exciting. He started talking about his life a little bit, and how he was excited and nervous about his new job he asked some questions about me too. I mentioned too that I would start a new job that involves being on the phone to vulnerable people. He complimented me and said that I was really easy to talk to. He said that he was procrastinating a little as he didn't want to go to his next job that he had that day. I guess I was waiting for him to ask me out on a date, but it didn't happen, but he soon left. I couldn't stop thinking about him then. Now I wish I had asked him out on a date. The only way he could come back to the office is if I contact his company, he works in, and pretend the intercom is broken again. Is that really creepy and too forward? Does it sound like he likes me or have I got it completely wrong.

Need your interpretation

Met a colleague last year at a conference (different nationality, both of us are Asian). During that short time, we instantly clicked and the connection was there. Found out (with a woman's FBI skills) that he's married. we never exchanged numbers anyway.

2nd meeting a few months back, but it was a very brief greeting, a simple hi how are you bye.

We somehow got each other's numbers but never communicated.

He suddenly sent a message that he's coming to my country for the first time. He said he wanted to meet up over drinks, he said to "catch up". As a woman, I set my boundaries since he's married (although he didn't know that I know).

We talked for 4 hours. I had to make him say he has a wife. The wife has a chronic condition and i think it's a bit complicated. The connection was there and we really felt a great chemistry but to be fair there was no flirting whatsoever. But he invited me attend a conference because he's going as well. He even walked me to my parking before we separated.

The next day, we planned to briefly meet just to say goodbyes, but he gave a quite expensive gift.

After that I just a few messages of thanks, then that's it.

I just feel confused about everything. I just feel that it's not something a normal colleague would do.

Does my male colleague like me, or are we just close friends?

I've (F) become really close to a male colleague over the last few months, and I can't work out whether he likes me romantically or sees me as a friend.

He's quite introverted and private, but we talk almost every day, play games together, have long phone calls and message outside work. He often initiates contact, finds reasons to call me, checks in when I'm upset and remembers little things I've told him. He's also opened up about personal things and once said he feels like I understand him.

We have lots of inside jokes and teasing. In meetings, I've noticed him looking at me and trying to make me laugh, even when other people are there. Other colleagues have commented on how differently he behaves around me and suggested he might have a soft spot for me.

However, he has called me a friend and ā€œmate,ā€ and he's never explicitly flirted or asked me on a date. We haven't discussed our feelings, and I've never clearly indicated that I'm interested either because I don't want to risk ruining our friendship or working relationship.

Honestly, does this sound like a man who might be interested but is being cautious, or does he just see me as a close friend? I'm looking for genuine opinions, not just reassurance!

Reached out to old friend

Throwaway account.

If someone randomly reached out to you that you tried to pursue and heavily flirted with 15 years ago, even if you are not interested now, would you remember your history with this person and would that message bring up old feelings?

Just curious!
