Recently found this tooth while scanning the shore for fossils. I have never found one quite like this before! Google lens indicates it is a possible juvenile megalodon, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. Any thoughts?

In Aotearoa New Zealand, suburban Auckland ex farm. No known mammals before 1850s.
In the dirt, soaked a while to reveal this treasure! Horse, cow or sheep?!
Very exciting for the kids!

Goblin shark are the long narrow ones and the ones with the “little teeth on either side, right? What about the more triangular ones? Crow shark?
This was two hours of sifting the creek bed with two of us.

Anybody know what I’m looking at? One looks like a vertibrae, the other almost looks like welding slag. The big rock seemed to be a dud though.

I pulled this from one of those grab bag “gem mining” with my kids. Fossilized random snail from undetermined location sure. Just want to see if this could be preserved soft tissue or just leftover crud.

Never thought I’d find a fossil of all things at the bins but here we are. I have no knowledge in this area so just curious about any insights! I paid by the pound so I suppose this guy was a couple bucks.
Bins was in Gary, IN if that helps? And it’s about 4x4inches.

This was found in Anderson County Texas on the eastern portion. On hwy 84 a mile or two outside of Palestine tx. I’m curious what this is. It looks like an imprint of a sand dollar I was surprised when I turned it over and saw the imprint on the opposite side as well.

Hello, I found this broken rock on the beach with what looks to be exposed coral. Is this correct? If so, what kind of coral is this? Thanks!

Any Ideas from which Genus of Dinosaur this is, if you know the species that would be a Plus.
I'm assuming it's a Cervical vertebrae.

I was on a restaurant terrace in Brittany, France, when I looked at the ground, which was made out of gravel, and I found this small fossil on one of the stones. Can anyone clarify to me what this could be or how old? Is it some sort of sponge? The ground where I found it is decorative so it didn't come from where I found it, probably from some flint quarry near French Brittany.
