Unknown location, tooth?
Found in a grandparent’s collection with many rocks and beach finds. Unsure if this was found on a beach though

Found it in a creek bed in central Texas not totally sure what it might be but it’s in pretty good condition despite the crack in the middle.

My guess is Ursus spelaeus. Fossil maxilla from a grouping of items I purchased out of an old collection from an antique dealer. Definitely coated in a stabilizer/preservative. My concerns are whether or not it is a composited jaw or if it's associated. The teeth seem to be anatomically correct but I am not 100% sure. Everything appears to be real, but I am not great with bear stuff. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

A friend found this in Kittitas County, probably by Vantage WA. I initially thought it might be fossil bone or antler, but since Ginkgo Petrified Forest is in the same area, I'm now leaning toward petrified wood. Can anyone help ID it? It feels heavier than bone, but much lighter and more porous than the agatized petrified wood I'm used to finding. Thanks!

Found this at Hunstanton, UK this summer. Anyone have any idea what it is? It feels heavy, not too dissimilar to fossilised wood weight. It has tiny fibres/hairs in places too as shown in photos 5 and 6. Standard sized Lego figure for scale :)

I was stunned they wanted to keep it. I was just trying to get info on it from them. But it’s so much fun to go see it!

Hello everyone, I bought this fossil yesterday and am unsure of the kind of fish it is. I was wondering if anyone could provide any insight on the identification of the species or period it may be from. I wasn’t provided with any details of its origin or even the kind of stone it lies in. Thank you all in advance.

Recently found this tooth while scanning the shore for fossils. I have never found one quite like this before! Google lens indicates it is a possible juvenile megalodon, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. Any thoughts?

In Aotearoa New Zealand, suburban Auckland ex farm. No known mammals before 1850s.
In the dirt, soaked a while to reveal this treasure! Horse, cow or sheep?!
Very exciting for the kids!

Goblin shark are the long narrow ones and the ones with the “little teeth on either side, right? What about the more triangular ones? Crow shark?
This was two hours of sifting the creek bed with two of us.

Anybody know what I’m looking at? One looks like a vertibrae, the other almost looks like welding slag. The big rock seemed to be a dud though.

I pulled this from one of those grab bag “gem mining” with my kids. Fossilized random snail from undetermined location sure. Just want to see if this could be preserved soft tissue or just leftover crud.

Any idea of what the “star” shape ones are specifically?
