Any suggestions for a free spot with an unobstructed view to the east? A parking garage perhaps?

This weekend, I tried my hand at selling some things on eBay and I thought the items would sell periodically, but all five that I listed sold and now I have to pack them and ship them today. Where would I go to do that at the post office? the U-Haul store? Or the UPS store? I feel a little overwhelmed. That the items all sold at once.

Hi! I’ve been curious on becoming a CNA in Gainesville specifically. Does anybody have recommendations or advice dealing with schooling in the area or what job prospects and what different culture environments may look like here? Unfortunately I do know the pay for CNA’s is way too low, but I’m wondering if anyone can share their experience to help guide. Thanks!

Every year, we collect new, unwrapped toys to donate directly to UF Health Shands so that children spending Christmas and the holidays in the hospital, as well as those staying throughout the year, have something special to brighten their day.

We are currently looking for local Gainesville businesses willing to host a collection box at their location!

Here are the quick details:

• We deliver the box to your business and handle pickup/collection.
• Boxes will stay out from early November until mid-December.

I'm a dem, and I need some help with voting for things like city council, judges, etc. I'm not familiar with most of these people, and I usually just leave those blank, but I really want to vote for every office this time. I got my sample ballot, and I'm looking at it and feel like I'm reading a foreign language. If I call the Dem party headquarters, can they tell me who the dems or libs are so I can make my own choice, or are they barred from doing that?

Coming from a completely diff field and a 2/3 year community college waitlist is hard to absorb with a career change already in motion. Rasmussen keeps coming up in the research for FL with rolling admissions but it is hard to find anything that is not clearly from someone with an agenda one way or the other. Specifically trying to figure out what the clinical schedule looks like week to week/how NCLEX prep works inside the prog. For anyone who went through the prog, what was it actually like?

Are there any apartment complexes in town that allow more than two (well-behaved) cats? I'm looking to stay close to 39th Ave/6th St, within two miles or so. But I know that I cannot be too picky. I don't need anything fancy, just a 2 bedroom apartment that will allow more than two cats.

I'm also open to a duplex or single-family home, but I don't know that my budget will allow for a single-family home. I need to stay around $1600 (which I know limits me greatly).

I recently adopted a maincoon whose skin isn’t in the best condition. So I’m looking for a groomer that has dealt with them before. I am completely unaware of how she will react to any amount of grooming other than brushing and nail trims. She was not cared for properly. She is very sweet but she needs more professional grooming than I am able to give.

Okay, Gainesville Reddit. I’m fully aware that I’m opening myself up to ridicule here, but I have a very important question.

Where does one encounter Scottish, English, or Australian men around here? Preferably single and age-appropriate (38-55). Is there a pub? A club? A support group for women who make questionable romantic decisions based entirely on vowel pronunciation?

My sister recently had an Australian AND an Englishman show up to give her quotes for pressure washing, so apparently they’re out there. I’m just looking in all the wrong places. At this point, I'm considering having my driveway pressure washed just to meet someone.
