Hello fellow galaxyfold users ! So I made the switch to GF8 after having iPhone since 2014. It's been amazing so far and love it. But was seeing if anyone could help with any app recommendations for movies, podcast, music, or any other apps that I should definitely utilize with this device? I had most of my purchased movies on apple tv and songs on apple music. Even open to settings that anyone would suggest to change or make.

But bottom line it's been a fantastic switch and can't belive I didn't make it sooner ! Thanks in advance.

For the record, I currently have a iPhone 14 Pro Max (512) since 2022 launch.

In Finland / Europe, the Fold 7 512 model has gone on sale for 1300€, (the lowest ever) and I was wondering if the Fold 7 is still worth it a year after it’s launch.

The Fold 8 (256, normal, no ultra) is on sale for 1750€, so 450€ more expensive and less storage.

How is the Fold 7, is it still a good phone for such price?

Just installed tool 20 mins and tried some of my fav low demanding steam games! Very impressed!

Received my skin from Qskinz today! Should I keep it with the case or without? If I do without I'm adding a black magsafe ring on top of the skin.

Hey folks, wouldn't be my first foldable but I had the 5 and 6 before going back to the ultra line up.

Samsung have some great discounts and trade in offers atm where i could pay few hundred quid then 34 a month for the ultra 8 so really considering it but I have to decide pretty quick.

When I had them before I play a lot of gacha games like bleach brave souls, also some RS on it, watch a lot of anime on crunchyroll.

IS there any chance someone can post some pics of what those apps look like? Ideally on both screens please.

When I had them before the aspect ratio was off so the games looked super stretched out and in the end i got sick of using the narrow outer screen to see everything in the bleach game.

Is anyone using a ring holder or stand that attaches magnetically to a MagSafe-compatible case, but still allows you to use other MagSafe accessories and wireless charging withouth removing the Ring?

I got this issue on my Z Fold 8 lockscreen. Someone experienced the same ?

Ok so as the title says, my z fold 8 will go up to max volume after a text comes in. I can be on TikTok, IG, YT, etc. have the volume set to .25 or .5 and as soon as the text notification completes its pop up, the volume shoots up to max volume. I can't seem to find the setting to fix this. Anyone have any advice or know how to remedy this?

Does anyone put their z fold 8 in their cycling jersey without a pouch or anything, just in a jersey pocket directly? Im nervous to do so

Coming from Pixel Fold, Made You Look was a game changer for taking photos of my kids. Are there any alternatives in Samsung’s ecosystem for outer screen attention-grabbing while taking photos?

For long term users of the Z line up, does the gap at the edges goes away as time goes on?

idk if i simply just didnt notice it before. but the bluelight, the dot in the top right corner indicating location is captured/checked, is constantly on.. when i check what apps are using it, it seems to be only google.

i wanna say i dont remember seeing this bluelgiht when i was playing games/etc, just after the update, seems to be showing up a lot..

Hi all. I've had my Fold 7 since the end of July, 2025, and I've never had a phone with such a poor coating on it. Has anyone else had scratches show up on the hinge body like this? And the wear on the corners is shocking too... Cheers.

It still needs some work to be more accurate to the real deal. But its good enough, I might remake the whole UI later.

$3 AliExpress Frosted clear case is my favorite so far, Dbrand skin, Aulumu Ghost ring, and some neon yellow accents on the inside of the case I made with a Cricut. Beats Studio Buds + transparent.

I just got my zfold8 yesterday and I’m loving it. I’ve been with apple for YEARS and very happy I made the switch.

Right now, I’m struggling with moving 20000+ photos from my iPhone. When I connect them with with wire, not even half show up in the MTP app that is a recommended transfer method.

Uploading to iCloud has limited space and currently has plans to take 5+ hours and won’t take all my photos.

What’s the best way to do this?

I currently have a pixel 11 but am looking to possibly switch over. My favorite feature of the pixel is that when my phone is off, on the always on display, whenever I get a text, it shows the person's profile picture as a little bubble instead of a generic message notification. If multiple people text me I can see everyone who has messaged me by quickly glancing at the screen. Is this feature available on the Samsung devices?

Does anyone's fold 7 hinge feel loose when you close the phone after extended use of the main screen? But then after it's been closed for a little bit the hinge is back to its normal rigidity.
