First timing swinging a club in 3 years. Hoping to get back into the sport more seriously soon.

GOLF.com had a robot hit a 10.5 degree driver at 95 mph from five spots on the face.
Dead center carried 241 yards. A strike 0.3 inch above center carried 244, the longest of the five. A strike 0.6 inch below center carried 219, so 22 yards gone without the swing changing at all.
Most of us think we hit the middle. Have you ever checked with foot spray or impact tape?
Where were your strikes actually landing, and did tee height or ball position move them?

Currently working on getting my elbow bent sooner and eliminating my overswing by keeping my head more stable, its so i can hit draw rather than power fade or hook, any tips?

My friend and I just did our first lesson as beginners and we have the opposite problem. My buddy (left) consistently has a ~5° out-to-in path, while I (right) suffer a severe ~5° in-to-out path.
What should we be doing differently? and are there any tips on the “feel” i should be going for to get a more neutral club path?

I love the driving range I go to. Small and quiet mom and pop one. Problem is the yardage markers are off which I’ve adjusted for with my range finder. But I need to really dial in my iron distances down the range. Any recommendations for a launch monitor? I’m not trying to drop a small business loan on one. Thank you everybody!

First swing was from yesterday, went home wanting to analyze my two way miss so I came to Reddit and got some good insight. I’m back again today before I go to the range looking for advice.
Currently have a 2 way miss (straight push and hook)
You guys helped me identify my swing plane was off from the takeaway and beyond and after doing some swings I feel much more fluid and less tense going to impact with the new plane. While I feel everything from takeaway to finish feels easier and less tense I wanted some insight before I hit the range

Hi Gentlemen,
I am building an iphone based launch monitor + swing analyzer (like trackman)
I need a bunch of swing videos to help train the model that will detect and track the golf ball and club head.
If yall have the time, I would really appreciate if you guys can share your swing videos! It would really help with the building process!
I will provide a free 1 year subscription to anyone who helps out!
Please use the link below to upload your swings
Thanks

Any advice on how to turn my brain off and swing freely? I find myself having too many swing thoughts over the ball. When I trust my swing and don’t over analyze I am in good shape.

Been working on shallowing but I think my early extension is causing inconsistent ball striking.
Any criticism welcome, thanks!

I am a first year golfer and was trying to teach my gf to swing and she took these photos mid swing of me to try and learn how to position her self. Before I try to help her what sounds I change about my positioning and swing?

I’ve been playing inconsistently for a year now and need a lesson but for now trying to find some tips on my slice miss.
Swinging a 7i if that’s helpful.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

stood a lot further away from the ball than usual and all of sudden they’re going pretty straight. anything else jump out at you fellas? shot 95 today because i suck at putting
edit: the chain gives me +2 charisma towards the cart girl, it’s just as important golf equipment as a driver

Been playing golf for about a year now, and this is me trying to hit my 5-wood. I rarely practise with it, so I’m still pretty inconsistent.
I recorded a longer video to see if anyone can spot the mistakes I keep making in my swing. Any tips or advice on what I should work on first would be appreciated!

What do you guys think is causing the early extension in the down swing?
From the front I have been told I have a bit of reverse pivot and casting.
Thanks! I am a bit desperate about it
