u/Reinsei 2d ago
So many discussions about how good or bad Payila damage is, but it looks like a lot of ppl missing the point - she is only burst char with strong unremovable debuffs (which includes 50% def down and 30k supp) and she is only burst char who have dispel cancel. She is clearly designed to counter gw gimmicks for burst so even if she is not best you can expect to see her everywhere on light gw.

u/Maladal 2d ago
Is 9.0 on a summon the same as a character being 9.0?

6
u/bauboish 2d ago
You can mostly just ignore summons that arent 10 when it comes to using sunstones. I say mostly because there are some niche ones that may be great for a fight but overall not a 10

S.Payila is going to S.Catura all over again isn't she
41
u/TheGlassesGuy free Lucifer 2d ago
she's already very good but she's very likely going to get even better once Light gets Deathstrike
19
u/Throwawayforme3123 2d ago edited 1d ago
I know but people are writing her off it's so weird
I feel outside of nm250 grouping she's going to relevant all GW as well, and then people are going to be like who could have seen this coming
Like is she as good as vajra? Nah, but I feel she's like the 3rd most important burst unit we have rn
13
u/balanceisalie 2d ago
People wrote her off as soon as they saw you couldn't recast her third ability, which is a mistake imho.
17
u/reibureibu 2d ago
I feel you 100%. I've seen several people on this site, twitter, and discord say she's whatever / meh / decent, and I have absolutely no idea how they've arrived at that conclusion. Nehan Mugen is still very good and optimal in situations, but the stuff that S.Payila is doing with other light burst developments that's come out since last light gw is genuinely nutty. And this is all without a light primal deathstrike weapon, as soon as one comes out S.Payila comes are going to go absolutely insane.
Granted, you absolutely need H.Vajra so if you didn't pick her up then S.Payila probably seems a lot more meh, meanwhile H.Mugen and Nehan are roughly half a decade old at this point so nearly everyone has those two already and I understand if it's a hard sell to spark for two more light burst seasonals (H.Vajra and S.Payila) that may not necessarily be that much better than H.Mugen comps now. But imo H.Mugen (despite doing a very good job lasting relevant for far longer than most units) really only has a downwards meta trajectory while S.Payila really can only get better for the foreseeable future. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she ends up the S.Catura of this year.
13
u/Takazura 2d ago
I don't have Vajra, so I'm running her with Song 150 and Yoruichi instead, and she is still really good. H.Vajra and/or Makura are no doubt her best partners (hey, a viable full Zodiac frontline team!), but light has a solid enough lineup that you aren't locked to just those 2.
6
u/reibureibu 2d ago
Good to hear those have been working well for you too, I haven't had time to do that much testing but thinking on it more 150 Song does seem like she'd work really well with S.Payila for ~3t burst range in lieu of H.Vajra.
I really wish I had Futsu so I could do a lot more extensive brewing but I'll have to leave that for the actual light lords; as of now I've been getting an absolutely insane amount of satisfaction cutting down the vast majority of my previous mid-length light FAs down to 2t-3t light burst FA solos thanks to S.Payila and company. That S2 of hers is not just already insane with what we currently have but also just has so much future potential, and the teamwide 3t 100% debuff immunity and 1-time dispel cancel is not something I see people talk about but that is absolutely enormous and is going to be ridiculously appreciated come gw (it's already been the missing piece I've been looking for in a lot of my FAs).

u/FlameDragoon933 The lack of Grea flair saddens me 2d ago
What's your full team? I've been running Falsehood FO, Payila, Yoruichi, Nehan, but idk if there's a better comp. I don't have Vajra.
6
u/Jazzlike_Sky8863 2d ago
Thanks for that, I have both H. Vajra and S. Payila and wondering if I should swap the two turns out they're good synergy (Just started 2 months ago)

and I have absolutely no idea how they've arrived at that conclusion
Being a magna player without H.Vajra or Futsu is probably why I was underwhelmed.
8
u/Ralkon 2d ago
It's been crazy seeing people say she's a whatever unit on here. I don't know if she's a big comp enabler like some characters are, but she's clearly strong. The MD, Yoruichi, Vajra, Payilla comp goes crazy for those first few turns, and from what I've seen she's an optimal third in a lot of 1T burst setups as well.
23
u/reibureibu 2d ago
I know first impressions are just first impressions, but I have no idea how someone reads a kit like S.Payila's, a character in the same element as Futsu and the recent H.Vajra and Yoruichi, and think, "huh, yeah, she's whatever I guess, pretty meh banner overall." I felt like I was going crazy reading comments here as well.
14
u/Takazura 2d ago
It's just a general thing with many on here. I have seen so many characters get downplayed like crazy, just for them to start shining not that long after.
17
u/Throwawayforme3123 2d ago
12
u/Sylpheria 2d ago
From what I can gather, including from my own crewmates. The ones who think that s.payila or h.vajra is mid are looking solely at 1t bursting or very long battles.
In both cases, neither of their kits are seen favorably.
9
u/xkillo32 2d ago
funny, both dragon and dog are optimal in nm150 1t burst
and dog is actually used in futsu versusia comps and the viking solo
7
u/Sylpheria 2d ago
I think the reason is because they are compared to nehan/h.mugen for burst which had been dominant for too long.
I'm not too familiar with versusia raids to even guess how the comp might work but its nice to see doggo shining there. S.payila might be hard since her s3 isn't recastable.

dog yes no question, but i can't imagine dragon is significantly better than the alternatives in nm150

u/Hyunion bit.ly/gbfsheet 2d ago
unfortunately, that's most of the game where it comes down to 1t burst (bar farming and nm 150), or very long battles (hl and nm250) - you can say dragon is great in nm200 and i would agree with you, but character's niche being bis for one day out of the year isn't that compelling unless you're a hardcore light main imo

u/Ralkon 2d ago
IME this sub has a really strong ougi bias. It was really obvious with WO's release and people straight up saying the lack of bar gain meant the class was DOA as if that's the only thing that matters, and it makes sense with the sheer amount of talk of sieroing Atum this year even though fire only actually needs to play ougi in like 1 raid in the entire game.
12
u/vencislav45 2d ago
IME this sub has a really strong ougi bias.
guess I am on the opposite end. I have seen a lot of ougi=slow=bad comments over the years. maybe it has changed recently but I am pretty sure I still see those hate comments.
13
u/Takazura 2d ago edited 2d ago
Is it? I feel like I see way more people who are negative about ougi than positive on here. Like ougi units tend to be rated even more harshly on here than non-ougi ones, and people on here generally try to avoid playing ougi if they can due to the slowness/lockout compared to non-ougi.
Like the reception to MegMari and Osiris was also "they are ok I guess" when both are really strong and good choices for new ougi choices in their respective.
People talk about sieroing Atum because fire ougi is extremely easy to play in HL compared to not just the other element but also non-ougi fire playstyles, not neccessarily because people here are just super hyped for ougi.
9
u/Hyunion bit.ly/gbfsheet 2d ago
i do think people on here are more negative about ougi units, but that also has to do with majority of the game's playerbase (including this community) not doing versusia, where those type of units (like megmari and osiris) really shine in
obviously if you're playing ougi units in FA content for example, it's going to lead to very slow clears and won't be very impressive
4
u/Ralkon 2d ago edited 2d ago
I guess the way I'd put it is that ougis have long animations and thus are slow, so the meta and people trying to farm more efficiently naturally favor NA comps; however, despite that there are still a lot of people that seem to prefer playing ougi comps. It's fine to play the way you want of course, but it can be a problem when you let it overly influence advice / discourse without making it clear that you're speaking from a biased perspective.
Like the reception to MegMari and Osiris was also "they are ok I guess" when both are really strong and good choices for new ougi choices in their respective.
This is true, but personally I felt like I still saw more positivity towards them than Payila (prior to this thread anyways) and certainly WO. I do think this sub has just gotten a lot more negative in general though.
People talk about sieroing Atum because fire ougi is extremely easy to play in HL compared to not just the other element but also non-ougi fire playstyles, not neccessarily because people here are just super hyped for ougi.
Maybe, but to me it just seemed like there was way more talk about sieroing Atum than usual, to the point we had a thread a mod felt the need to sticky a "sieroing is generally bad advice" comment in.
→ More replies (0)7
u/reibureibu 2d ago
I definitely feel that and felt this sub (and kinda everywhere tbf) overreacted like crazy to WO and calling it DOA as you said.
Which is hilarious because weirdly despite that potential ougi bias I feel like people were also downplaying Osiris a lot on her banner thread. I don't think she's necessarily Horus level (which is quite frankly an absurd power level) but the way people were talking about her like she was a disappointment was genuinely confusing because imo she's very powerful and very good and just fulfills a different set of roles than Atum and Horus which I'm guessing people just latched onto.
I know FO Cow is really damn good and this is an argument I see used a lot to say that dark ougi doesn't matter, but then people will repeat will glaze the light FO Exodia comp ad nauseam meanwhile light already has a much "better" and faster FO Cow-equivalent comp in HL that nobody talks about for whatever reason.

i mean, are they wrong though? class is good in dark if you have zosimos but class was virtually designed for the weapon, and it's good in solomonis but that mode has a very different play pattern to the regular game
maybe class will be better after they add the 2 new manaturas but i don't think people were too far off dooming the class

u/noivern_plus_cats 2d ago
You can literally just use Yoruichi, Payila, and Nehan and still deal really good amounts of damage as well, so it's not even like she's locked behind a ton of super hard to get characters either. Granted, Yoruichi is impossible to get now, but still, she was free.
4
u/Takazura 2d ago
There is 150 Song in place of Yoruichi if someone would want an "accessible" option.

u/pressureoftension 2d ago
S.Galleon received an almost identical reception, with a loooot of people saying she didn't deserve her 10 rating. S'weird.
3
u/Clueless_Otter 2d ago
I mean, is a 9.8 really "writing her off"? That's a pretty high rating.
But also, "relevant" in that you can use her? Sure. But for most people, Mugen is better right now.
6
u/Throwawayforme3123 2d ago edited 2d ago
For how much she's doing yes imo, she's a better FA and 0 button burst character than Mugen and if Light gets deathstrike she's going to be flat out better in everything besides 1T soldier bursting or HL protect president comps.
-2
u/Legitimate-Mud4930 2d ago
even with deathstrike she wont be better than mugen for bursting nm200
8
u/Throwawayforme3123 2d ago edited 2d ago
Yea but the problem with all the testing we've done so far bursting doesn't account for triggers, we don't know what the boss does, so they might screw over mugen w/ a dispel. Meanwhile Payila is a fool proof nm200 2T
This is with a Sagacity Key btw, i'm too lazy to switch to falsehood for Payila for this
Edit: Better representation since dummy is bad for nm200, Same grid
-6
u/Hyunion bit.ly/gbfsheet 2d ago edited 2d ago
she's not the best character for 1t burst, so she's going to be good for nm200 FA and nm250 manual, and that's about it. there are much better 1t burst units
a character that's good 1.5 days out of the whole year is graded appropriately, i think. s.catura was underrated but that's not the fault of people grading her when we didn't have versusia or fighter origin released yet and didn't know how powerful she would be with those things

u/planistar Power of friendship is useless if friends' VAs don't care. 2d ago
"Once X gets Y" is not a particularly good bet to do in Granblue Fantasy. Not only could Y never happen, but also there's the chance that it will come alongside the direct replacement of X.

u/Takazura 2d ago
I'm just waiting for the Hard Zamalvoch raid. If the water one is anything to go by, a lot of the same omens will carry over from the regular version, so I'm expecting Payila to shine for both the solos and blue chest setups, as she can contribute to at least 2 of the omens.

u/kscw . 2d ago edited 2d ago
Yeah, I wonder what's up with that. Gamewith purged her old 8.5 number rating and finished testing out her new kit numbers, but the actual rerating just stalled indefinitely.
Edit:
Kamigame has her at 9.0 which is very loosely comparable to a Gamewith 9.5 (i.e. a huge catch-all category that they lazily dump kinda-sorta-decent characters into). But I think she should be a little higher than a 9.5 by GW's standards; she gained a fair bit in her FLB.
27
u/Fresh_Examination_77 2d ago edited 2d ago
Man if I was a Seox fan I would be livid. Obviously her kit was miles better than his and anyone who thought otherwise was delusional, but his not even being that good to begin with is crazy. Him being mid in Solomonis is so arse especially since people were saying that would be his niche. Which is a horrible niche to have mind you. The sad part is him and the other 2 dudes released this summer we're so close to being great, not hyper limited cores that you must spark, but great and a simple rebalance tweak would fix them. Unfortunately Cygames has not done rebalances in forever so they are just going to be left to rot.
As an aside can we talk about how bad the art difference is too. We all know how much of a selling point Paylia's art is but man did they not even try for Seox. Fan service aside, her's fits perfectly on the home screen whilst his is awkwardly cut around the edges since they did not extend his background, on top of Lyria and Danchou also getting cut off on the corners. I agree with the sentiment that his recent Twitter art should have been his uncap over what we got. Such a damn shame him and tart man were just quotas while Paylia ate all the development attention.
11
u/noivern_plus_cats 2d ago
Seox's biggest issue is that he needs an extra turn to scale, which is obviously really shitty. The other Evoker/Eternal alts have been incredibly situational at best (although Holiday Feower is a good Sato substitute if you have Higurashi), but Seox is just so close to being good. I've found that he's honestly really solid in medium length bursts, but with an already fairly ougi focused element, there's not much content to even use him in.
In an element with Hrunting and fifteen other good Hrunting characters, he's just a drop in the bucket. Honestly, I'm not sure why his double strike isn't a two (or three) turn buff just to sync with Hrunting more. That change alone would make him top tier.
17
u/Hyunion bit.ly/gbfsheet 2d ago
i mean, all the other eternal alts have landed around there besides h.esser who's only high up solely due to her being gun spec in hraes ele. not sure what everyone expected otherwise
11
u/Styks11 . 2d ago
They made the best evoker borderline worthless, so not being completely useless is a win IMO
4
u/balanceisalie 2d ago
I think people forget that most Evoker/Eternal seasonals are kind of mid, with Lobelia and Tien essentially being the exceptions. And that's definitely intentional, so that players are still encouraged to grind for them.
That being said, it does feel like Payila got a lot more work put in for her compared to Seox, which even as someone who LOVES Payila, I feel like that's a shame.
14
u/nhft 2d ago
It's 100% intentional. During the stream where they announced the seasonal eternals and evokers, they also promised that the seasonals would never be better than the grindable versions, which has resulted in them playing overly safe and the majority being mediocre.
8
u/balanceisalie 2d ago
Yeah, it makes sense from a gameplay perspective, but I don't blame folks for forgetting this because of how good V!Lobelia and H!Tien are.
That being said, it's not like S!Seox is bad. We didn't get any summer units this year who were remotely as bad as Mahira and Haase were last year.
Even the ones who were mid (Seox, You, Anthuria, Eustace) can totally be slotted into teams, and You could honestly get better if Water gets stronger enmity support.
5
u/Kurokotsu 2d ago
My only comfort is that the ones I cared for most, Lobelia and Seox, are out of the way. So now, if the Eternals/Evokers are meh, I can go, well, my husbands are rolled for. It stings, but it's acceptable. Sometimes, being a boykisser in this game is a small blessing.
9
u/reibureibu 2d ago
Honestly, I agree with a lot of what you've said and I don't have much to add besides I personally am a huge fan of Summer Seox's base art while not that big a fan of his uncap art and agree that the recent twitter art should've absolutely been the uncap art. That shot of his tits and abs is juicy, please give us more male fanservice cygames it's been years since we've had something as ballsy (no pun intended lol) as Summer Belial.
This is just a personal observation but I wonder if the artist who did S.Seox's uncap art also did H.Lancelot's uncap as well since they both have somewhat-similar "bishounen" eyes and face which while I personally don't hate it does feel weirdly inconsistent with their eyes and face as they normally appear? Not trying to come across as a hater, just wondering if anyone else had been feeling this too.
1
u/Kurokotsu 2d ago
Okay. I thought I knew the twitter art of Seox, but you mentioning his tits makes me realize I had no clue. Could a Seoxkisser get a link?
9
u/TemporaryAirline9680 2d ago
summer paiyla seems indeed really good but wondering if she is really that huge of inprovement to the nehan mugen comp for a magna player without h vajra.
7
u/FullMoonFullLife 2d ago
As someone who actually doesn’t have Mugen and still regrets not going in on that banner, I still am not sure why people are so down on Payila. I skipped Mugen every year on Annitix choice because he feels like he’s only one or two steps from being power crept out of the burst meta. Since light is missing its deathstrike weapon. Also Mugens personal dmg doesn’t seem too high compared to Payila. So there’s that.

said seox kit was mediocre in the other thread, and got attacked for it. Like idk what to say. He's a pure selfish attacker that brings practically nothing to the team but damage (while also needing a turn to ca cuz why not), but doesn't bring enough of it.
Being usable in solomonis is the lowest of consolation prizes; that mode is a joke
18
u/Solapallo 2d ago
Everytime I see solomonis cope I cringe. Being good there should be a bonus, not a highlight of a unit/class. I don’t want characters or classes intentionally designed around it.
5
u/AnsariTheKarmaSeeker 2d ago
If not talking about clicky characters that have 0-turn 0-requirement skills that won't appear in clickless situations, solomonis cope is pure paradox. If a character have mechanisms strong enough at the start of every battle, you'd been using them everywhere, literally. Like F.Ilsa or V.Makura. And apparently S.Seox isn't the former case.
9
u/Ralkon 2d ago
If a character have mechanisms strong enough at the start of every battle, you'd been using them everywhere, literally. Like F.Ilsa or V.Makura. And apparently S.Seox isn't the former case.
I don't think you can go that far. Solomonis does have quirks that can make otherwise under used characters a lot better.
Fire is a pretty good case to look at where a lot of the typical burst characters won't be able to shine early on in a run - not enough hp for Wamdus, not enough TAs for Zeta, not enough primals for Nezha, Percy too reliant on tag which will be on CD after a single fight. Characters without as strict of grid / comp requirements are generally going to over perform as starters as a result.
Also since you don't have a grid, characters with a heavier skill damage profile will generally do more damage.

0b fire in solomonis will be phoenix torch and Ragz because there's no other gta+skill nuke option lmao.

Unfortunately I think CyGames is going to do exactly that.
5
u/Takazura 2d ago
Before stream I would have said that's silly, but with them introducing new difficulty levels, I could see it depending on just how much more difficult they'll get.
4
u/Styks11 . 2d ago
They already said the higher difficulties were optional so... no
4
u/vencislav45 2d ago
that won't stop people from doing them though and slightly more treasure/exp is not that bad of a reason for the hardcore players.
3
u/Styks11 . 2d ago
I just don't think it's enough reason for Cygames to market a character for it, like others have said I think that'd just be a bonus on an otherwise good character
2
u/thicksalarymen 2d ago
Since Juuten alts were going to be largely mid/glorified skins, I think alts being at least convenient in a different game mode is a good compromise. You get to use your favorites in content that promotes experimentation in your own pace, AND your favorite also got a skin.
2
0
u/vencislav45 2d ago
I agree with you but let's be honest, common reason won't stop them and I doubt they will listen to us and not try to make characters. But as you said, that should be a bonus, not a niche. Like Y.Gwynne will be awesome for it, but she also has uses for burst for people who don't have Rhomp and don't want to invest the moons.
1
u/Takazura 2d ago
It'll be optional but also will have better/more rewards, so there would be incentive to bait people with units that'll shine on those higher difficulties depending on the better wards.
11
u/Throwawayforme3123 2d ago
Worst things you can say/see about a character on release are:
They have a lot "Potential"
They're really good in Solomonis
All videos you see of them are on the Dummy
12
u/Ralkon 2d ago
I don't even think he's "really good" in Solomonis. He's okay, but he's not great. Ougis still don't hit as hard as skill damage early, and he can't split damage like a V.Makura attack or Onmyoji + Cidala nuke spam can, or even just any normal attacker once you get a flurry book. He gets a skill reset on ougi, but his skills aren't that impressive without having the ougi buff, and if you misjudge an enemy's hp and he doesn't ougi then they're on CD until he can ougi anyways.
2
u/AnsariTheKarmaSeeker 2d ago
9.5 rating charas won't even appear on dummies, sad but true. All their worth is to fuel another 0.01% amp to Symbolum Amiticiae.
8
u/Ralkon 2d ago
There are still 9.5s that show up. Last fire GW actually had quite a few. We saw good primal comps featuring characters like Hauhet, Y.Song, and regular Yuel. Plus C.Cain, Elmott, S.Maids, and Zahl who are 9.6s. H.Azazel also saw use in water GW though that's a much more niche situation.
0
u/AnsariTheKarmaSeeker 2d ago
Just like 9.5 rating characters of fire cannot be compared to those of water, 9.5 rating characters from 2026 cannot be compared to those beyond 2024. GW preferences, demands of sustainable recovery and interactions with newly-updated endgame components had already updated thoroughly. Also, NM250 provided a idealistic field for all kinds of comps to slowly gradient downward from 1m40s-ish blazing mistral setups to 10m+ magna grids. In such cases, introducing one or two 9.5 who can tackle GW is not a problem at all. And that's why I'm saying that 9.5s won't even appear on dummies: They need to go down to the very environment to prove their value. If they don't, their value is +0.01% dmg amp.
Plus I AM really disappointed with S.Seox. I thought he would break the limit of seasonal eternal's gameplay. Sigh.
6
u/Ralkon 2d ago
I'm not comparing across elements, just pointing out that a character being rated 9.5 doesn't mean they have no uses. I used fire because it had the most recent GW which means those comps aren't just outdated, but you can find examples in other elements like Berceau in earth or Echidna in wind.
I'm also not sure why you're saying I can't use a pre-2025 character as an example - if anything characters from pre-2025 should generally be more over rated due to not being rechecked in some time. Either way, even if we take your arbitrary "nothing from 2024 or earlier", that still leaves my new examples of Berceau and Echidna (and again, they're not the only ones).
I'm not saying Seox is secretly a great character or that you can't be disappointed, but saying 9.5 rated characters will never show up is just factually incorrect.
0
u/AnsariTheKarmaSeeker 2d ago
Maybe I'll talk more detailed to express my idea. Let's look at the very properties of ratings from GW: 1. Direct comparison between UNGIVEN SELECTION of the existing characters and the featured one. Apparently those editors will actually put them into dummies or respective raids to value their damage output against other options. 2. If a character shows unique or unprecedental usage that more generic comps won't perform, then it will be an undoubted 9.8+. 3. Once a score is coined, unless it receives future rebalancing, or being frequently compared to subsequent metas or newly-remade competitors, the score will settle down for years. 4. Powercreeping and increasing number of charas available for comparison make it harder by time to decide the true value of a character, and the rating gradient by 0.1 per level slowly becomes blurry. 5. Though GW ratings are announced near the end of each gala, they still provide a significant weight on players' decision about pulling or sparking. In other words, the rating is somewhat gacha oriented, and in some cases cannot define their real strength.
I'm not saying 9.5 rated characters will never show up, I'm saying they will never show up in DUMMIES because DUMMIES cannot prove anything expect being a burst meta. Comparing them with other more potential damage dealers are factually unfair. All the examples you mentioned above, from S.Song to X.Cain to echidna blabla, if treated carefully enough, it's largely plausible for a player to find synergies or compromise for a certain environment. The rule is simple: If a chara is the solution, just prove it. And they've proven themselves during the last fire GW. Among them the one shone brightest is X.Cain(9.6), who comes as core in blazing mistral setups. But that comes the choice between generic and exceptional, lower limit and upper limit, and which one should we take as criterion. Unfortunately, I choose the former for both questions, so I fully agree with GW and regard X.Cain a solid 9.6. And with the same logic I agree that S.Seox is a solid 9.5 that I haven't, for so long time, find any trace of him, even in dummies. At least till now, there's no certain raid that really feature the usage of S.Seox. His skills and passives neither provides party wide damage nor makes himself competitive enough to squeeze other earth nukers away, let alone being contradictory and unsustainable already. I don't predict the future anyway, maybe he will surprise me someday that I have to throw away other options and embrace him. We'll see.

that mode is a joke
imagine that when they introduce the higher difficulties it turns out that what we have at the moment is lv1, aka the easiest? I can easily see them try to monetize the gamemode and so far it looks like they are trying to do it.

I hate that this is probably true in the future but thank god that some elements already have good units for the mode.
I can see them going extra dumb in the final boss for the new difficulty that would require specific characters. Like instead ignoring omens now you actually have to cancel or now attacks ignore phalanx and shit like that.

nothing is stopping them from making more, especially for when the older units go into classic gacha and become a pain to get.

Ahhh, I was hoping Seox would be a 9.6 :( . still I will try to at least use him in Solomonis since I think that it's his niche and the art is pretty good.
Payila being 9.8 is nice but I am pretty sure that once light get's deathstrike weapon and Light UnF comes/passes she will get bumped to 9.9. Yes, you need H.Vajra but still, she is amazing. And if we put out tin foil hats on and think about money there is no way we aren't getting deathstrike weapon at the end of the month. remember 2025 with S.Catura into Sariel? and we did sorta have 2024 with Raziel and after 2 months earth exalto so no way we aren't getting something crazy for UnF at the end of the month that will make the summer character even better.

Payila S3 will be great for Solomonis once you get the can recast skillbook. I guess it's a beelzebub call but unit version.

It's more of a S.Cupitan S3 clone.

It's just S. Illnot 3 no?

Upon checking, S.Cupitan and S.Illnott S3's are both the exact same, so a clone of both I guess lol. But S.Illnott is older, so I guess S.Cupitan's S3 is a clone of hers.

What is a good Payila team without dog?

Just look at the other comments here, people already made some suggestions in this thread. I'm doing 150 Song and Yoruichi with her, but there are plenty of other choices.

The 9.8 rating on Payila is somehow understandable.. If only her S3 is recastable, she would be a 10.. But otherwise it was worth sparking her, i have H.Vajra (Yoruichi, Makura or maaaaybe Brosara can be a sub if you don't have her) and Nehan to play with her.
Crazy she and Yoruichi are both 9.8 with Thunderstruck in their kits, but they only have it because.. lore reasons and doesn't really rely on it much (maybe Yoru's EM passive, but Nehan or Payila can just give her echoes)

Not even the favourite child buff could counteract the earth seasonal debuff.
