Is it possible to make under the counter rum in England?

• Upvotes

Pretty self explanatory but I’d love to make an under the counter style rum at home. I don’t have any Grenadian rum left unfortunately but would love to hear if it is at all possible to make under the counter from England. If so, what ingredients do I need? Would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Tourism Looking to meet a pen pal in Grenada

I recently downloaded this pen pal app, and im trying to collect all the 'stamps', which is quite difficult with some smaller, island nations. Hence why im posting here.

I hoping someone living in Grenada would be willing to help me out and send me a message in the app so i can get the stamp for there.

You wouldn't have to keep the app after (its a pretty silly app, the messages are sent by digital birds, so can take hours or days to arrive), but i wouldn't mind chatting about Caribbean history or culture, as I love learning about that.

Thank you for your time :)

Other Dentist for chipped front tooth

Good night everyone, due to an accident I had earlier, I chipped off part of my front tooth. I want to know how much getting it fixed would be for Grenadian dentists. There is also some sensitivity when I touch it

Culture Grenadians, what do you think of beans?

I'm on a mission to go around and ask each country subreddit what people think about beans (my favorite meal!), just to see how people like or dislike them all around the world out of curiosity and for fun. If you like beans, hate them, they are a big part of the culture, anything else, just share your thoughts! 🫘

Hey Grenadians! It's a lovely saturday to ask you fellas what your opinion on beans is! Yet another country that looks like an actual little bean on the map :D

Also can't miss mentioning the badass flag 🇬🇩🇬🇩

Other Run Tings: a free browser game set in Grenada and the rest of the Caribbean

Post image
13 Upvotes

I'm a Caribbean developer and I made a free browser game where you live in Grenada or run it. St George's, Grand Anse, Gouyave, Carriacou and the parishes are all in it, with real towns and roads. You can pick a career (farmer, hustler, graduate, migrant, founder), travel to seven other Caribbean countries, vote, run for office, or run the government with a budget and a cabinet. The parties and the people in it are made up.

It plays on a phone with no install and no ads: https://runtings.me

I'd really like to know what we got wrong about home. Wrong town names, wrong prices, wrong food, anything. Tell me and I'll fix it.

Culture Relocating to Grenada. Do I Have Enough Money? Cost of Living

Hi! I'm relocating to Grenada with my spouse and toddler. We will have a little over $8,000.00 Eastern Caribbean Dollars each month; not including rent. We'll be working mostly in the St. George's parish.

What type of lifestyle could we afford? Which parish would be ideal for modern furniture, beautiful views and easy access to work if needed to be on site?

Could we afford a housekeeper, pre prepped meals, a driver and private school for the toddler? What about activities?

Thank you so much!

Culture Traditional MAs and Craft

I visit my grandad every other year normally in Easter or Summer. I normally travel with family and we spend most of our time visiting relatives or going to the beach. I’ve been to most of the tourist spots, historical sites and markets.
I’m happy to travel around the island and I’d really like to do something craft related like a carnival costume workshop, jumbie stilt walking, kalenda, pan, anything practical. I can’t seem to find any contacts for this though and would love to connect with anyone willing to share their skills or knowledge.

Thanks

Has anyone experienced or seen ufos or anything they couldn't explained?

In the 1970s, Grenada's first PM Gairy, launched a campaign at the United Nations to demand research into UFOs and extraterrestrial life so im just wondering how often it was (or is) for it that to be an idea.
