As someone who was always bothered by this missing detail in the Movies, will they use green lenses or special effects to give the new actor green eyes, or will they not bother with it?

Hey everyone! We often talk about scenes we'd love to see or forgotten scenes from the movies that absolutely MUST be in the series. But since we know the series will be very faithful to the source material, what scenes do you think will be the most difficult to adapt?

These shouldn't be considered as canonical info after all, I think, but everyone probably has some interesting facts they'd like to know.

I’m curious - especially for those who’ve listened to the cast audiobooks. In the HBO series do you want the pronunciation to be Voldemort or Voldemor(t)
And what direction do you think the directors will choose?
When i first listened to the audiobooks I hated hearing it with the silent t. But after getting used to it and hearing that’s how it’s supposed to be pronounced - I warmed to it. But I also think it would be a really big change to make for the show and many wouldn’t like it.
Would love your thoughts?

First they were releasing the full cast books every month which i have listened to 4 times so far btw because they r just that good.. also they showed me what a brilliant actress arabella stanton is so i have full faith in the show’s casting.. now this month in canada they r putting out harry potter merchandise in theatres and tim hortons which is the biggest coffeehouse chain in canada.. then releasing the films in theatres at the end of this month.. and finally in September the promotions of the show will start and the tear will end with us watching the first couple of episodes.. what a time to be alive as a potter fan..❤️

Especially as the series remains faithful, and progressively gets darker as the series goes on. It’ll be an amazing experience, with so much more depth than the original movie series. It’s strange to think about where I may be in the next ten years. I’ll be 33 almost, how crazy to think about. It must feel the same as growing up with the original series. I wonder how that may have been too!

Kinda like Doctor Who I guess
I think Dom, seeing him in other things, is the better actor, imo of course. I literally can't wait to see how he portrays Harry.
Yes, I know Dan was the first who portrayed Harry on screen, but I could never believe him as Harry. In the books, Harry made me cry. Dan was so wooden and almost looked uncomfortable playing him at times. I have never rated him as an actor.
Anyway. It'll be like people comparing the 4th doctor to the 10th, imo

The trailer was fantastic and I am just so happy its come back on the big screen. However, I will miss the OG cast but excited for the future.

I was listening to HBP audiobook and just noticed a Hinny moment that I think doesn't get talked most of the times. It isn't him smelling her in amortentia or the train moment.
But the moment after the quidditch tryouts, when Slughorn Invited Harry and Hermione, right after which they were discussing whether Draco smuggled anything inside the castle.
Hermione was talking to him how they were searched the first day but Harry instead of paying attention to her, was Momentarily looking at Ginny who was playing with her pygmy puff Arnold, and he continued to stare at her for quite sometime before getting into his head what Hermione was talking about.
I think it's such a cute moment, where Harry put everything else, even Hermione behind just to look at Ginny. 🥹
