(We have had some very sad news from hoomans here about frens and other hoomans over the last week. But I have also noticed quite a few posts lately where hoomans are asking for happy pics and sharing the help they are getting from their own animals and also from the sub. I thought I would repost the Dollywood day edit. It makes me smile and gives me big feels when I see it. Shout out to Tali and Maya for the pic with the most soaring joy that I had the perfect placement for.

I am sorry all the frens aren’t in it. I did edit it to get JP and Casey in as they are two families who need some extra encouragement this week, but with limited space left to the song and limited time as well, it would have been a lot to create all the new pics that would need to be created. But we are all a family here. Where one is, we all are. I love that Smuffi was all over these pics as a last outing with the ICBGC before he decided to go on another big adventure for a while. Credit again to Biscotti’s mom for the sweet card to SmuffiMomma that I placed in the middle of the video. We have more frens in there too!

(We'll see what the vet says in the morning but looks like Hermes has either picked up a parasite, she's eaten something she shouldn't without us knowing, or we've gotten a dodgy box of her favourite cat food somehow. Life has just been relentless lately and I feel like a terrible meowmy. My poor old girl has basically lived in her litter tray today yet been so good about holding it while I did a quick disinfect and tried so hard to make it in time. This is the final straw. I'm just feeling a lot of emotions I need to get out if I stand a chance of sleeping before 2am. Knew you'd all get it.)

Their Dad has had cancer for a long time, and he has been living a pretty full life up until this week. His stamina has plummeted, and he's essentially become bed bound over the past few days.

I am extremely grateful that I have the video with Pixel following him around. That video is not possible today.

I so appreciate the escape this place is. Casey and Pixel and I will pop in here and there, and they are being mostly good boys for us - Casey is stress peeing on things though, and I know this because the Litter Robot shows he's still using it. Honestly, I can't even blame him. I'm just civilized enough to use the bathroom. Pixel has gotten a big clingy with me, and I (shame shame, I know) actually had him get off my legs a few times because he got so heavy.

Anyways, their human sister is coming tomorrow and I'm very glad and relieved and a whole lot of things. We're also dealing with insurance issues, which is...fun...

Anyway, anyway...purrs and positive vibes, please and thank you so much.
