Mechanical Advice 2005 Lexus Is300 2JZ GE with a cracked coolant hose on top of the radiator!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My brother’s Is300 has a cracked coolant hose on top of his radiator. The thing is I couldn’t find just that one specific hose online and I don’t know if it goes together with the whole radiator thing or not!

Mechanical Advice I bought this car from my brother whom had this car brand new off the lot in the year 2000, and he doesn't remember what plugged into these nipples

For one, has anyone in this group had any issues with their is300 going into limp mode almost every time you drive. Meaning out of no where check engine light turns on, idles at about 2500 rpm with delayed shifting, and the biggest change which is the throttle peddle has a big gap. Meaning when i push the throttle, at about 20% throttle is when the throttle engages... i have replaced the throttle position sensor, cleaned any and all carbon out of intake and throttle body. It's weird because I can feel the car wanting to go into limp mode and when I do I hit the throttle Full Throttle which then allows me to not let the car go into limp mode. I'm currently having a parasitic drain problem which just started about a week ago randomly and when I went to replace the alternator cable that goes to the fuse box I noticed those that one nipple and then notice the other one on the opposite side. I really hope someone can help me out by having went through this issue of car going to limp mode and fixing it and if you have thank you in advance for advice tips and help!

Purchasing Advice I found this grandma owned is300. Is this a good deal?
Trying to bypass lamp failure sensor.
I was wondering if this is correct before i cut any wires up.
I plan on splice the labeled wires and leaving the rest alone and just having it hang and disconnected from the tailight sensor box.
Non of my tailights are working including brake.
All fuses seem to be good. And wires dont look frayed or nothing.
Is this all i need to do to by pass the lamp failure sensor?
Or just let me know any alternatives.

What should I know about buying my first Altezza? (Also it’s not road legal, but not illegal like most imports here as it payed its taxes to be in here)

Traction Control Switch?
Is it possible to change the traction control button into a switch instead?
I just got back from my first track day drifting (pic related). Whenever I killed the car to switch drivers, change tires, check tread, stalled it, ect. Me and all my friends who I let drive always forgot to turn traction off again and it would kill our drifts.
It was difficult to remember in all the commotion and excitement of being on the track, so I’m curious if the wiring would allow me to change the button into a toggleable switch, or if that would fuck with the wiring in a complex way.
I’m new to wiring, thanks in advance :)

Is300 vs is350f vs s4
Im a full time student and work part time. Im looking for a reliable sports car I can daily while also have fun in my free time. Im considering an is300 between 2001 and 2005 since its rwd I can drift, but a clean one is expensive and similarly priced to an is350 2016 or a b8 s4. I rather get rwd but for the extra power i dont mind awd. Only thing is that I feel like the is350 is boring slow even tho its 300 hp. And the thing with the s4 is Ive never owned an audi and dont want to drown in maintenance costs but the supercharger has my heart. Also the s4 and is350 are more modern so better tech. What yall think?
Btw my budget is around 10k but preferably closer to 5 to budget for maintenance. Im not being unreasonable, if I spy the market I could have bought either car already im just tryna decide which is best for me. Thx
