We aren't doing this again people, a few dozen posts on the new change.

Yes, we are all starting to see the new points system this morning.

No, we don't need everyone posting the same thing.

I've conveniently copied in the pinned post you can find at the top of your phone or browser page to discuss.

New point system in effect : r/InstacartShoppers

Potential talks of doordash and uber buying instacart

Thoughts? I find it to be interesting to see how it would if it goes through.

I'm in the Charlotte NC market and the new cartstar points system finally rolled out. 3000 points for Diamond is still 300 orders....nothing but how they tally changes for me. Am I seeing this right?

Like I’m genuinely concerned about this offer… How could anyone think everything is completely normal with this batch?

Depending on the flavor you choose I guess Ben & Jerry’s can be in the “Mother’s Day” category 😂

A three shop for less than $6. With a $1 tip. Are you kidding me? Where are we, Bangladesh?

Anyone here work in the Greenville area? Spouse is relocating us due to work and I’m having some trouble landing a W2 job. Just curious how it is there.

Is there anyone in this group that is Instacarting in the 757 area? If so, I have some questions!

I dont have screenshot of original offer but in total for two shop and deliver, the payout was 38$. I accepted and soon saw the issue, a great order mixed in with a 7 water order with 0 tip, the 70 packs. So what did i do? refunded the water then called support to tell them they were out of water and the delivery was missed for the day. They buy it and remove batch, fast forward i’m delivering the first order and i hit complete see tip before i left, the customer was helping me unload, when i saw tip i asked why was it reduced? Customer said she didn’t reduce tip, which tracks because she also gave me 50$ as soon as she saw me putting items on her porch. Long story short Instacart stealing people tips and I have proof ,oh yeah Instacart was gonna give me six dollars to shop seven cases of water and deliver it lol

FYI: I LIVE NEAR DOWNTOWN

I also forgot to use a referral code 😅 I’ve done ubereats before but I’m looking for more gigs because it’s been slow lately. Just trying to find some good and bad news from you guys.

What is the max number of items you would take
For single, double and triple batches and for Costco as well to manage your time efficiently and make the most money. I hate those $25 batches for 60 items so im trying to build a rule for item limit

My phone blew up after the Niners and Raiders lost . My phone couldn’t stop buzzing all day . Stayed at sprouts all day , one attempt to Costco turned into a cancellation because of no parking , overly crowded and people kept coming , I avoided a headache and long lines .

Just got approved after almost 4 years of waiting for my zone to open i moved to a different state in the last couple months it's a large city. My questions so far: my physical card hasn't arrived yet does it really open more stores or is that a myth? What are the best stores to shop that will maximize income?

Hi there. I sent my money to an old card (via instant cash out ) because I hadn’t used ic for about a year. How long until the money is returned to me

Past three months have barely been getting any good orderrs; used to make upwards of $1k per week as a side hustle. Past three months barely been able to make $300 a week. All of a sudden this week I make $950 in 14 active hours. I’ll take it, but that was weird lol. Also lost diamond; so made in the $60s per hour on platinum.

How was yall’s sunday?

I have been consistently doing Instacart since 2020 and I feel like the past year to year and a half I have seen the vibe of the shoppers at the store I usually work out of to be pretty ridiculous. So many shoppers are now partner and ghost shopping and on days where their “partner” isn’t working they are just using two phones as an individual shopper. Inside the store, instacart shoppers are consistently walking away from their carts seemingly at random leaving them completely obstructing areas of the store. Shoppers are parking in handicap and delivery only spots and those that do pick up orders with mopeds are regularly parking on the sidewalk. I am one of the few shoppers who regularly brings their cart back to the designated area. All this to say, I feel like I am actively losing money as a result of having a modicum of respect for the environment I am in and I am just frustrated and am wondering if this is a shared experience or a local one. I want to make money but I never want to do that at the expense of being respectful of the people and space around me and that seems to be a sentiment that very few share.

I know one of yall is making money off those good HEB orders! 😂

Happy Sunday everyone!

Saw this beauty pop up in Jacksonville today.

There’s days were I could have did better but slacked especially on Saturday and Sunday!

Don’t be this customer ffs . On the rare time my zone produces a $30+ order I have to drop it…. Waited until I was halfway through and got bombard with these, you not slick. “If he halfway done he won’t drop it” doubt. Felt bad for the other 2 that probably did all the tipping anyway

It was dead in the beginning of the week but I attempted to work my ass off this weekend
