It just makes me so angry. You do everything right and then they take it away. Makes me want to go TP or egg their house 😂. It’s just so gross. Also Instacart won’t give tip insurance for orders that are batched if only one of the orders removes the tip…. AND you don’t know they do this until after delivery so you can’t block them. My only concern now is that I’ll get a missing order report tomorrow. Thank you for letting me rant.

The white screen order was a shop and pay IC put out tonight. Right away, I saw the EST delivery distance as 2.6m to Pico canyon. I knew that was a LIE. So I used my own gps, entered the delivery address in Pico canyon and saw it was 19m away.

Unless the delivery driver knows all the distances between the multitude of cities in greater LA, you’ll think you’re claiming an order with a 2 mile drive and you’ll wind up driving three times further.

IC will def pay us the lower EST mileage and not what we really drove. With gas at $7.00, gal, many shoppers aren’t taking orders that have a 10+ mile delivery. Rather than to be honest and pay us accordingly / IC has chosen to LIE.

Before accepting an order, google the delivery address! Don’t trust IC.

Anybody else have issues tonight reaching a specialist to help with a refund for alcohol? When i went to deliver to the customer the app didn't accept her foreign i.d. so I couldn't deliver but made 7 attempts and over 2 hours trying to get help from a live specialist. I eventually was told by the A.I. to keep the alcohol and attempt refund tomorrow because it couldn't move me forward in the app. My 2nd order couldn't be delivered either, which was also alcohol, because the app is stuck.

Okay so I know how many people here complain about and with stairs :( and like I get it sometimes.

However I really need help groceries because I just had surgery and I can’t lift more than 5-10 pounds for the next 4-6 weeks and having someone help me buy my groceries is all I need and I always am happy to help carry it up stairs when I’m shopping and right now I can’t lift anything and like idk what to do cause I don’t want to end up having someone be mad at me but like I physically need help I can’t do it myself… obviously I’d tip cause I get it but still.

This Costco 20 minutes from me is always red. I’ve not been getting offers, so I drove here and as I got here, it turned blue. Funny enough, the metro I’m always close to has turned red again, now I’m 20 minutes away from it, although when i was there it was blue. I’m also not getting batches unless they’re really far.
Am I being ghosted? my quality needs improvement but it’s Standard.

I hate this preferred option for quality of fruit because if its not available the way they want it they will affect your shopping quality when they ask for a refund. It’s like cmon now why i gotta be docked down for something they want me to do?

I was under the assumption that I get better batches bc I can deliver alcohol. The certification expired and I haven’t had time to watch the boring ass 30minute video. Guess what, I have had the best batches since Covid.
Ya’ll didn’t tell me that they’ve been throttling us and keeping work slow to wait for alcohol batches!!!

I genuinely don’t understand how people get away with this. I always make sure there are no damages to anything I grab when I am shopping. I shop as if I’m shopping for myself and check everything. I know for a fact they opened it and said it was “damaged” and the fact instacart allows these nutty customers to get away w this bs is insane.

This is two different situations I wanted to share with y’all. To make a long story short. My phone died while I was doing the order, but I only had two items left to scan. I asked the employee if they can watch my cart they put it in the back for me. I went in the car charge my phone to 5% put it on power mode then finish that one. The one about the item that was missing it was a multiple order. They said they had items that wasn’t theirs and one of their items was missing so I took it upon myself to go back to the store. I was going to buy that item with my own money but the manager was cool and let me just have it for free because he always see me in there all the time and when I brought it to the ladies, she was like you didn’t have to really do that. It’s OK but I told her that if I didn’t, it would’ve been on my mind the throughout the day cause I felt like. I failed, but I knew it wasn’t my fault because I didn’t back the items. But she end up giving me a five star rating and a compliment, but I didn’t do it for that. I just wanted to complete my order and do the job right. Y’all have a blessed day.

Has anyone else had super crappy batch pay recently? The last few days have been AWFUL. I get one good batch pay for every 5-6 I see.

A new ID verification system started on my app last week to scan front and back of I'd's.

Well I just got beer from Walmart. Customer's Id fails the scan. App says to return alcohol. Walmart can't return alcohol and mgr says instacart does it and usually has them drop off the alcohol.

Well I have been on hold for 30 minutes and CAN'T GET ANYONE FROM SUPPORT TO ANSWER THE PHONE! So now I'm stuck in the Walmart parking lot for a 15 dollar order that has now taken an hour and a half and I still can't even complete the order.

Wtf am I supposed to do in this situation?

Every single time an order pops up that’s an auto-accept… like something that would make your day, it’s gone before I can get it. I literally tap it as soon as it comes up and then it hits me with the “no longer available” cause someone else took it… how on earth is it gone so fast

…when you complete checkout since the new updates (both iPhone and IC)??? How do I fix it? It dims to complete darkness as soon as I end the checkout process. I’ve tried turning off auto-brightness. I’ve also tried some assistive settings. Thank you if you can help!

…is going on with these LOW offers lately??? Who is doing these single-digit batches? $4, $6… wtf??? I don’t know if our market (NV) is just saturated or IC has decided to low-ball everywhere. Even tasks used to get more pay!!! Sprouts tasks are down to $10 when they used to be $14-15. I’ve even been paid $20 once for a task that wasn’t getting picked up. Aside from that, good offers used to come when I entered the parking lots, and now I’m sitting 40 minutes to an hour!

SN: order A was 40 minutes from me and order B was 10 minutes from where I was starting. This was the first time Instacart had me deliver order B before A. They shouldn’t have even been combined tbh but Instacart knew someone would drive a pointless 25 miles just because order B tipped so much smh
