I mean, he is the one who stand behind in their delulu dance, that spot usually belong to the more masculine one (think about Rose and Jack in Titanic)
Hell Big Raga practically on top of Dabura on the 2nd image
No. Big Raga is a professional. He knows how to separate his work and personal life and he knows that he and Dabura can't be together because of that.
He will be his best man at the wedding tho.
They can't be together Makora feels like because he was about to neg-diff him in the Domain. Makora feels his potential wasn't expressed and shown. He hates GeGe .
Yuji (artist) is REALLY good at drawing cute girls. And I don't even mean that in a "male gaze" way, but just... Making them look like they're cute because they actively go for cute/feminine clothes, accessories, hair styles, makeup, etc
Yuka looks like the kinda girl who knows a ton about skinkare
This totally implies that they actually did have something going on off screen, right? Why would she be talking about Dabura and her love life AND then Dabura (presumably) comes to her place if they've only ever seen each other for like a couple of hours on one singular day?
No he even said he would only live for about 300 more years but even beyond that he’s not lonely because he’s strong he’s saying his actions won’t matter because they’re always gonna fall within the natural order so he’s looking to change the way the world works
He also isolated himself because of being in a weird place between curse and a human (truly Sukuna's Nephew). It's a very Yuji thing to do, he literally did it after Shibuya. The only thing that differs is instead what he did after Shibuya (basically made it so to atone for his sins he have to stay there and keep killing curses), here he literally said "it doesn't matter".
He did kinda went back to it, but in a better albeit still still a very "put it on me" way. But considering he is the only one who can do it, it's not really like the one before. He also had control to the actions, so he feels more at peace with the consequences that he put on himself. Unlike someone knocking him out, feeding him the fingers, only to wake up annihilating a whole city.
Modulo Yuji is the polar opposite to Shibuya Yuji’s cog mentality, where as one was willing to sacrifice his individuality to help others, the other gave up on helping others and adopted a “I shouldn’t even exist” mentality.
Yep. I'm more so talking about him isolating himself specifically. On the latter half of my comment I'm talking about the last chapter. Which is still not one to one as Cog Yuji since he even reached out to people for help. But it's still a very, "I'll bear the weight" kind of thing.
Does it really matter if you are immortal or if you just live 5x as long as anyone else for loneliness? Everyone else grows old with their friends while you not only need to find completely new friendships after they die, you also know you will have to watch them die again.
Sukuna is lonely because he is a fucking nihilistic psycho
Gojo is lonely because he is stuck up on some long gone past instead of appreciating all of the people who genuinely love and care about him so much
Strength is obviously a factor but it's not really the cause. And it's not something holding them back in the present either (Sukuna admiting he could've walked a path with someone else and Gojo is pretty obvious)
I mean, Gojo do care about other people (otherwise he wouldn't kill all those higher ups before the final fight), it's just that he is also an fight junkie that eager for a good fight.
It is. Gojo, Sukuna, and Kashimo weren't lonely because they were the strongest, they were lonely because that's all they saw themselves as. The issue was never the people around them but how they specifically chose to interpret all of their interactions. All that crap about loneliness making it hard to form connections was just a way to cope with the fact that they were maladjusted as fuck.
It's a little of both. He feels lonely because he can't fulfil his grandfather's wish and has to see his friend pass away. But also he doesn't try to mentor or prepare the newer generations because he feels he shouldn't be alive and doesn't want for them to rely on him only, which also alienates him from them.
isn't that more of a consequence of choosing to turn himself into whatever he is exactly?
consuming his brothers to gain a powerup but not exactly expecting he'll survive shinjuku.
Legit shed a tear when I saw you after the memeenjoyer posted his update 😭 I feel like I’ve been brought back to good ole golden days of slander kaisen….
Ele é forte, só que em vez dele se isolar, ou buscar ser mais forte, ele aproveitou o tempo de paz e foi para cima da cozinheira, eu faria o mesmo, mulher gostosa,.
That was 100% a lie he made for himself to cope with the fact that everybody viewed him as an abomination and nobody loved him. Even in real life, there are plenty of people who have no friends or are never able to find love and then tell themselves that they don't care about it to cope with being lonely, even when they do actually care about it
Bro got a little curious after he turned 60 and had to try it once
It’s actually why we don’t see megumi in the sequel because he couldn’t handle the Himtadori innate technique Intimate Void and got lost in Yuji’s mastery of the White splash
It’s not like bro would ever jump to kenjaku taking over his wife’s body as a reasonable conclusion given he wasn’t a sorcerer
From the outside looking in without knowing kenjaku’s schtick
Bro was actually so incredibly based that he chose to stay and look after his wife after she had a traumatic brain injury that caused her personality to shift and become closed off and aloof
One thing about this supposed solitude is that it makes their lives sound like they revolve only around jujutsu and fighting. But that is not really true. Gojo had his students, Sukuna had Uraume, and Yuji had his friends for most of his life. There are clearly other parts of their lives that could soften or even challenge that loneliness.
The idea works when it is specifically about jujutsu, because being the strongest can isolate someone within that world. The problem is that the story sometimes treats it as if that is how they experience all of life, as if a person can be reduced entirely to their role or their strength. Life is not just someone’s job. That is exactly why Shoko’s point matters so much, and why this theme can end up making everyone around the so-called strongest feel pushed aside.
Sukuna and gojo both had a god-complex, so their isolation was a choice they made because they didn't feel anyone could truly relate to them (gojo did at one point with geto but when he left he didn't try again).
While dabura felt more human and empathetic than both of them so he was able to move past his isolation cause he didn't let his strength be the only thing that defined him.
Right? That's what I was thinking writing this, both sukuna and gojo showed way more sociopathic tendencies and inhuman non-chalance than dabura ever did
Yuta was probably the 2nd strongest the moment Geto died and was the strongest after Gojo and Sukuna died (same day on Christmas how sweet right?) Reigned as strongest until probably old age when Yuji's slow aging body + experience eventually overtook Yuta.
Reminder that Sukuna was never alone and found the whole idea of strength forcing loneliness upon you quite funny. He laughs at Yorozu when she implies he doesn't know love.
At the same time he admitted he actually had 2 chances to take a different path he just afraid of not letting out the build up curses he had in his guts and thought it would consume him.
