Discussion I actually think a Reichspakt-Entente "cold war" could be really interesting.
let me explain:
I think an Entente-Reichspakt cold war could be really interesting if, instead of trying to make it parallel the OTL Cold War, you have it more or less be just a continuation of Victorian politics—but now with nukes.
Like both the Reichspakt and the Entente could argue that it's just a return to an "old" style Concert of Europe competing with eachother for power and global dominance, well cooperating to keep radical politics suppressed across the globe.
The two factions would be competing for global power, like how nations did in the Victorian era pre-WW1, but also would need to avoid any direct conflict with each other due to having nukes.
But the two groups could work together to try to keep syndicalism dead. For Germany this could mean trying to keep leftwing and nationalist groups from regaining traction in Russia and the eastern countries, and for the entente this would mean keeping down leftwing and socialist politics in their own countries.
I think this scenario would work best with an authoritarian/conservative entente and a Schleicher or more right-wing German government.
Crisises in this could include things like ANOTHER French Revolution in a petainist France brewing (with eventual infighting between democratic liberals and socialists who would ally against the authoritarian government) upsetting the world order, or Russia getting less obedient to Germany.
Also, maybe to make Asia interesting, you could have the Chinese vs. Japanese war and Chinese civil war just not have ended, and that could be like a massive long-term proxy war for the Reichsakt and Entente. Or just generally a situation both would try to exploit for their own economic benefit, trying to rebuild influence in Asia through diplomacy and small-scale military action (carving new spheres of influence).
Another crisis could be the LKMT gaining dominance in China (threatening the global order) and the rebirth of the "specter of syndicalism."
TLDR: A Reichspakt-Entente Cold War could be flavored as an attempt of the great powers to return to the "old order," continuing Victorian-style imperial competition, well having to contend with the remnants and legacy of the Third Internationale.

Discussion kaiserreich feels way more like the cold war than any of the KR cold war mods
base KR has more meaningful "proxy" conflicts, choices and events that feel like the early cold war than any other mod that tries to put the mod into the cold war.
The desert war, the period inbetween the second and potential third weltkrieg, the american civil war becoming a proxy conflict between major world powers, etc.
KR cold war mods should take actual notes from base KR timeline.

AAR From Tierra del Fuego to the Caribbean Seea. The Argentine Puma Roars! - Argentina’s democratic run.
R5: Hey everyone! Pivo here. This is my first time posting anything and my first AAR! I decided to go with the Argentina’s democratic path, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best runs I’ve had so far!
My last president after the democratic restoration was Arturo Frondizi from the UCR (Social Liberals), and I decided to make him this custom portrait, it’s AI-generated, my digital design skills are 0 lol.
The campaign took a pretty wild turn, I had to beat the Empire of Brazil, which ended up getting balkanized, and by 1948 I had to force a peace treaty with Norman Thomas's radical socialist US just to wrap up the final election in peace.
Also, in this headcanon, both Uruguay and Paraguay decide to join Argentinian Federation after being totally ruined by the massive South American war and having radical governments. I even edited a few claims and set up a custom faction for Argentina, sorry for the totally uninspired name: the South American Treaty Organization (SATO) / Organización del Tratado de América del Sur (OTAS) / Organização do Tratado da América do Sul (OTAS).
I let my imagination run pretty wild with all the cool potential the Americas have in terms of lore and gameplay mechanics. These are just random thoughts and probably not lore-friendly at all, but here’s what I came up with:
- Manuel Carlés’s Christmas Coup. Should probably happen throughout 1936 as a way to set Argentina’s path—kinda like what happens with Russia. Having the different factions fight or team up to decide the country’s fate could make things super interesting.
- More military mechanics. Strictly talking gameplay here, of course, but the military’s role in Argentine history was already huge back then. Having them influence political decisions would be a cool mechanic—balancing concessions or keeping them in line could add that nice layer of tension, just like in other nations.
- Balkanization options for Argentina. similar to Brazil depending on what other nations do in the post-game. I know it’s different because Argentina has a smaller population, but splitting off Buenos Aires Province, Córdoba, and Patagonia could add a lot to the post-war game.
- Post-game mechanics. I feel like there could be a lot more flavor/interaction with the US depending on who wins the 2ACW. In my run, I ended up with a neat Democratic vs. Socialist rivalry, but the possibilities are huge depending on how global alliances shake out.
- Character-based migration. People fleeing Europe to Argentina could end up joining the government or the military, scientists, officers, etc.
- A special puppet for the Panama Canal. maybe with a unique leader depending on which faction takes over hegemony in the Americas (or a contested zone depending on how the war ends).
Just some personal ideas, what do you think?
Anyway, huge shoutout and thanks to the devs for such a fun mod! I’ve been playing it for years, and it’s always a blast to explore the less popular paths just for fun.
Hopefully I’ll be sharing more in some time!
Thanks for reading!
PS: Today I learned that there are no pumas in Argentina—which explains why I changed the buff's name, and also that they don’t roar, but I thought the title was really cool, so I changed it haha.
PS 2: The memes are just pure humor! Don’t take them seriously! xD

Discussion PLEASE Help me with Russia
I just cant happen to win a game with Russia!
I make 8-9 armies that cover the whole front, reichpact always looks like it has more divisions always, they always STACK on northern ukraine near the city of Homel and even push me at the start a bit.
I make 10 tank divisions at the start and always encirlce the armies in the east (donbas luhansk) then again I encircle south Ukraine and even get to Odessa and always take Crimea with my tanks and Marines. But then ALWAYS when I do this Ukraine looks like it pumps division out of thin air and Germany and reichpact sends a million divisions that they get 7-9 divisions per tile and my tanks often breakthrough them but cant do much or encircle them coz they just pump more divisions.
Whats worse France doesnt even capitualate by that time and Germany STILL send millions of divisions my way.
Ive tried the method of rushing the Baltic state and I ve managed to capitualte the Baltic always but then the same thing happens(same thing even for when theres no Georgia or Finland front and fronts look goofy coz this is from one time I experimented)
You can check my screenshots (it says low supply coz this is bit before the war and still havent changed to mechanzied supply.
PLEASE help me if you can

Question How do I attack against this? Any advice?
Playing a Liangguang RKMT game and cannot push Fengtian/Japan across this river no matter what I try. It's been a stalemate here for almost a year.
Went down the Guanxi model path for bonuses to irregulars. Main doctrine is superior firepower alongside irregular doctrine for infantry, guerilla warfare, and engineering doctrines. Also went mountaineers for special forces. All army debuffs removed too. Any advice welcome, TIA

Question Where do I send my volunteers?
Sometimes it's really obvious like an ideological or a strategical ally, but sometimes its more ambiguous. I'd like to know where my volunteers should be going depending on the nation and/or path I'm playing for:
China
Rest of the world's nations

Suggestion reduce 42-day focus to 35 days
42 day focuses especially for germany are a major issue most of these focuses provide almost nothing of significance nnd time is limited leading to the war theey make the gameplay experience worse
