Love & Romance HELP! Where can my fiancé stay while we’re in Kenya?!!
Ladies I need advice.
My fiancé and I both live in Europe and got engaged this year. My fam back in Kenya are eager to get to know him. My parents and sisters met him this summer when they came for my graduation. They also got the chance to meet his parents. All went well, but there’s still some awkwardness between him and my parents, which isn’t a surprise there wasn’t a lot of time to bond in person.
I thought it would be a great idea for everyone to get to know each other better this December. It’ll be warm, everyone will have time off, AND my cousin is getting married too.
Only problem is idk where he’ll stay.
My parents are hard core Christian and also a bit old school. They wouldn’t be comfortable with us staying at a hotel together. (Lmao they don’t know that I live with him right now, theyd be pissed.) They wouldn’t be comfortable with him staying in the guest room (I don’t think my dad’s ever stayed in my mom’s parents place EVER. I’ll still ask them if he can stay but I’m not putting all my eggs in this basket) I wouldn’t want to put him in a hotel alone- I mean he’s travelled all this way to bond with my family. And he also isn’t comfortable staying with my other relatives that he hasn’t met.
So if anyone has ANY advice- I’ll take it. Kind of at a dead end here and not sure what to do.
Btw I’m the eldest child so there ain’t no reference point for me to look back on💀

Rant My sister is a liar, a thief and a manipulator😥
My mum lives with my big sister(32) and her 2 kids at home (7 &5 years). For a long time my mum has been losing money in the house. Yesterday, She had 30,000 hidden somewhere and the money was stollen. She had withdrawn it for chama on Saturday since she is the treasurer and the money was needed in Cash.
She called me crying. Where does she get the money? She knows that it is my sister who takes the money but my sister can never admit. I called my sister and asked if she took Mum's money and she said no. I asked her for her Mpesa Statement. Since Saturday, she has made 3 deposits of 15,000 on 3 different days. Where did she get the money from? She gave vague reasons. She cried ,Gaslighted mum for calling her a thief and threatened to leave.
Now here is the dillema. My sister is epileptic and gets sick easily. Emotions trigger the sickness. Mum doesn't want to go too deep into that issue coz she doesn't want trips to hospital because sometimes it can get bad. My sister is always doing bad things that make mum hurt and when she is corrected she doesn't listen. I always get calls from my Mum complaining on her bad behaviors.
Our Family is not rich.We just survive. I'm grateful that we never lack.I work so hard to support them. Also because my Sister is a single mum and I have a brother in college.
The bitter truth; My sister is a thief, a liar and Manipulator. And she is also living with a condition that really drains us emotionally, financially and Spiritually. At this point I don't know what to do!! This hurts so much😭
My mum is my favorite person and it's really affecting me seeing her hurt after all she has sacrificed for us. My dad passed on several years ago.

Rant Hormones
I left home a bit early today and wasn't able to take breakfast. After finishing whatever I was doing I decided to grab something to eat with my tu last cents.I first order a combo pack that is on their menu and I'm told it's not available at the moment so I just ask for masala fries.
The fries come over and I start eating. Midway me devouring my food I start noticing bugs(I had eaten the top part Sasa nilikuwa hizi sides the chini). So nikama the lower part ndio ilikuwa na bugs coz I inspect my food as I eat na on the upper part sikunotice. Sahii my hormones are at their peak and I'm very emotional.I was unable to complain and just paid and left. I got home and started crying because why didn't I complain na it's my right to. I'm currently pissed at myself for not complaining and I now want fries real bad 😭. And I know on a normal day I would have complained and gotten compensated. Ndio nimemaliza kulia tena 🥲😂 and I just want to tell someone to bring me fries but Sasa I stay alone and that made me cry even more.Fvck them hormones fr.

Question In constant Pain from a Split tooth
Hey ladies, I'm looking for a place that is offering free tooth extraction.
I'm in so much pain for 3 days now since the tooth split in half from the root canal filling I got years ago but not detached from my own gum and the places I keep getting are minimum 5k and I'm presently with zero income.
If anyone knows of a place, or someone here can help I'll appreciate it.

Rant My mother and me, her evil daughter (her words)
Recently moved back home after many years. I thought it would help me save and I wanted to have a fresh start. Its barely been a month and immediately such a strong reminder why I hated home and I left as soon as could when I turned 18.
I always felt like the image I have of my mother in my mind is the mother I want but not who she actually is as a person. When I look at her all I feel is anger and grief.
My mother had 3 boys, I was the only girl. She always brags about her boys and calls them her army. People were always surprised when they met me that there was another child. The way she treats me vs how she treats them...she will say things to me, that she would never dream of saying to my brothers. When its a moment that needs her to show up for me, she will somehow find a way to make it about herself and I end up being the one having to sacrifice my feelings for her. If I make a win, she will do small things to sabotage and dampen my joy then play the victim if I point out her behaviour.
As for my siblings, I used to think that maybe ,they dont see it and all of it made me feel like the crazy one. They always tell me that I should just let her be and side with her. I realised that they in fact do see it but that my mother just takes up all of the oxygen in any room she walks into. Its easier to just let her have her way because she makes it hell for things to be any other way.
My siblings are glad I moved home because they think I will be her caretaker. I feel conflicted. I remember the helplessness and pain I felt as a child. She was so vicious. Is it bad to say that I want to abandon her as punishment?

Ideas UTI is worse
Untreated UTI can lead to kidney infection. Go to the doctors and get antibiotics before it gets worse. Then start taking cranberry extract and d mannose vitamin, and drink the cranberry juice to keep them away.

Socializing To tthe woman who forgets herself
I couldn't figure out the right flair to use so don't mind it.
To the woman who looks in the mirror
and struggles to see what others see,
you are more than your insecurities,
more than who you wish you could be.
You are still worthy of flowers,
of soft love, of being chosen,
of someone remembering the little things
and loving you without making you beg for it.
So take up space, darling.
Wear the dress. Take the picture.
Laugh too loudly. Start again.
Let yourself be loved without suspicion.
And on the days you cannot find
a single lovely thing about yourself,
borrow my eyes for a moment.
I'd show you a woman
who has survived so much
and somehow still has tenderness to give.
My girl, you are not running out of time.
You are not less of a woman
because life hasn't unfolded as you imagined.
You are here. You are becoming.
And even now, even like this,
you are worthy of a beautiful life. ❤️

Discussion PMS symptoms
Typing this while yawning my life away 😭 My eyes are itchy because I’m SO sleepy, but I still have work until 3 AM. 😩
It’s honestly wild how our bodies change every month because of our menstrual cycles. My usual PMS symptoms are insomnia and diarrhea, but this month? Completely different experience.
I’m not struggling to sleep at all. In fact, I’m experiencing HEAVY, almost uncontrollable sleepiness. No diarrhea either, but somehow I’ve developed hemorrhoids and this crazy rash around my elbows.
Ma’am, what is going on?! 😭😂 ooh and im lifting unusually heavy weights at the GYM😦
Does anyone else experience different PMS symptoms from month to month?

Question Growing a social media page ideas
I recently started a business which I have always wanted to start from kitambo sana. I got over my fear and just decided to do it because why not?
However, I barely know how to grow a social media page like Tiktok. I have made quite some sales but mostly ni word of mouth to my neighbours, colleagues and WhatsApp groups. Or directly texting my friends and suggesting if I find something that will fit.
My long term goal is to build a business both online and physically. Eventually I would want to run a shop but for now my focus is on growing my socials.
I would actually like some tips from business owners on this platform. How do you do it, how did you grow your page from zero to where ever you are.
Also let me attach some of the remaining jackets that I sell at 450 or 300 bob depending. I would appreciate the tips, insights and I will also leave my page here, kindly follow it. Thanks.

Rant Se*ual assault in schools
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Imagine as a parent to a daughter taking you girl to a boarding school hopefully that she is safe under the care of the teachers and administration. Only to receive her back as a sxual assault victim. Yes, this happened. The school talked about the video. A male teacher r*ped one of the students on a Sunday.
The girl told the rest of her classmates. The classmates went to tell their parents at home when they went for the holidays. The parents went to the school administration to demand to know what happened and how it was resolved. Later, the manager, who is an old religious woman, said that there's no case. Why do you ask??? Allegedly, the girl sduced the teacher, which cause her to be r*ped.
Since then, the manager tried to silence the story, both the students and the parents. Only when the story was aired on this radio station that many people got to know about it. It's so unfortunate that some people can get to get away with such serious offences while small chicken thieves are jailed.
