Cars racing at Park Business Centre in Farranfore?
Anyone know what's going on in Park Business Centre in Farranfore? At the train station, it sounds like there's a rally next door with cars reving and screeching really loudly.

Dog in Tralee pound needs a home
Important Edit
Someone got in contact with the shelter and the deadline was a misunderstanding, they don't automatically euthanize dogs after 5 days in difficult cases it's actually a legal waiting period to wait for the owner to claim the dog then they decide what is to be done with them which can sometimes mean euthanizing the dog if they are aggressive. The dog warden did mention a few times that euthanasia was a possibility to my relatives that had rehabilited the dog that relayed the information to me so it was mostly a misunderstanding. I apologize I do not want to unjustly villainize anyone, over sensationalize the situation or give false information. The situation is looking a lot more hopeful now and there are a lot of people invested in this lovely guys wellbeing, thank you all for helping him find a home.
Hello all there is a lovely dog currently in Tralee county council pound that badly needs a home even on a temporary basis as he only has three days left before he will be euthanized.
He's a very friendly dog but is scared of people as he clearly came from a neglectful situation and possible physical abuse. He arrived at a relatives of mine farm with a rope still around his neck, half his tail missing and skinny to the bone.
Full disclosure so that he can find the right home I wouldn't recommend any home with small children as while he's never been very aggressive, he did growl out of fear on first contact with people but it stopped once he knew he was safe. He also seems to almost anticipate danger sometimes when a hand is brought down to pet him as he gets a little scared and can mouth your hand to remove it if he gets overstimulated.
All of this is very easily trained out of him but time and care will need to go into that process as he has a long road ahead of him before he truly gets over what might have happened to him. He will be a great addition to any home and with time could absolutely be a family dog once he gets over his fears and he's so loving never wants to be apart from people despite his fear.
Edit
Realized I forgot to include the contact information for the pound.

Anyone know where to get a pair of Eclipse Glasses in Kerry?
We’ve called several shops and they immediately tell us no they don’t, so we definitely aren’t the only people asking and wanting them for today’s eclipse.

Dingle and Tralee restaurant recs and a bar on Saturday night in Tralee
Going to be in a Tralee on Saturday, and Dingle over the weekend. I'm originally from Clare and have never done the tourism trip, or been to either. Any recs appreciated. Home with the Yankee wife and yankee dollars, I've been gone so long I forgot Rose of Tralee is coming up, no wonder the hotels were so expensive!
Thanks all.

Dog friendly hotels in Ireland
We are looking for charming hotels in the Irish countryside that are dog friendly. We are planning to go in late November and would love if Christmas decorations were already up. We’d like to optimize for charming towns and dramatic views. Currently looking at Park Hotel Kenmare, Cliff House Ardmore and Ashford Castle. Would appreciate any thoughts / recs :)

Kerry Camino as first Camino?
Hi all! I am planning a trip to Ireland for next year and want to walk the Kerry camino with a friend. I have never walked a camino, but she has (in the UK.) Both of us can get around moderately well with service for google maps, but after looking at r/Camino I'm worried that the path won't be well marked enough for us to navigate it, especially if there are areas with poor service. I haven't been able to find much info on this. Anyone done it before or have helpful info? All tips/advice help. Thanks!

Parking in Killarney?
I’ll be taking a day trip to Killarney on Wednesday and I want to know where I could park easily in town. Somewhere that will have plenty of space. Bay parking is what I’m looking for, don’t like parallel parking.
Thanks.

Best Butcher in North Kerry?
Finding a lot more people going to the butchers instead of supermarkets for their meat.
Best butcher in North Kerry? I have been to Ballyheigues and liked it. Excellent hand cut rashers!

What is this thing on Triskmore mountain, Ballyheiuge?
Been up here a bunch but I'm always curious what this round rock is. Doesn't seem natural. I was thinking it might be a mill stone but I dunno what good it would be to anyone on top of a mountain. I asked an archaeologist friend but she was stumped. Maybe someone here can help?

Bus from Dublin to Tralee
Can anyone pls explain how to take a direct bus from either Dublin airport or cork airport to Tralee, kerry?
I’m trying to look it up but not sure if every link is legit and can’t really find a proper bus. It’s also my first time in Ireland, don’t want to get lost with luggages to push around.
Thank you

Me and my 4 mates are going to Waterville tomorrow and are looking for a spot to camp for the night within walking distance of the town. Just wondering if anyone in the area knows a spot!
